Monkeynauts: Merge Monkeys!

I love this game so much, I literally cant put my phone down. I was never able to find an evolution game that suited me. This game is so addicting and suspensful in a way. I love the design of the app aswell as the graphics. I also love coding and technology, and I always see reveiws complaining about "problems" with an app, I usually know what the actual problem is. Making an app playable takes a long time, when theres an update for bug fixes, just update the app.

I want to give this 3*, except the roulette kills progress. I could understand if this was a beginner who made their first or second game, however with the ad grab roulette this hides how short of a game this really is, noting the lack of merges. Graphics are good. Control is a little off and merging can interfere with screen swipe. The game is generous with gems, and I could look past the smaller issues except the reward monkeys do not always give more coins (duplicates).

Well, I'm changing phones. I don't know if there's a way to transfer data and Idc. I kept the app all this time bc I was still hopeful for some new real content. Maybe the small update means there WILL be a bigger one. But oh well. I waited about a year and I'm done. This app is really fun but really short and not worth keeping anymore. My final rating is 3/5. It's very cute, concept is simple and straightforward, but there's not much to it, it's short & i hope no one spent actual money on it.

This game is very cute and addicting! I just have one minor issue: how do you do the "Tap the Monkeys" mission?? No matter what I do, nothing counts as tapping them! Not even when I actually tap them! It's very frustrating, as it's the only mission I've made no progress on, and nothing online says anything about it! Other than that, I love this game to pieces. It's just that that's frustrating. Is there anyone I can contact for help with this?

I LOVED this game!! It is super adorable and the graphics are to die for. Everything is set up nicely!! BUT TODAY I get on so I can continue to build up my guys and SOMEHOW my game is resarted.. I was just playing it a few hours ago, I don't understand what happened and it ruined the whole game for me. I'll sadly be deleting this unless there is a way someone can bring my old progress back. I am thankful I didn't spend money on it like I was going to...

I love the details of this app it's a Great work of art, but one reason why I rate this a three, is just because I played this same game on my old phone, and I took time out of my day to play this, and one day I wanted to record a video for my YouTube channel, and it deleted all my progress. I had to say to my viewers that this always happened but it never has happened. So just maybe fix a few bugs of this app.

Tried it out in early access and fell in love with it immediately. Loved the art style and that it was simple enough to get me addicted to it. The only problem was that I lost all my progress and uninstalled it because I really didn't want to go through all that again. This game takes time and I don't want to waste my time again trying to get all that progress I lost. Hopefully, they fixed that because I recommend this if you're bored and have nothing else to do.

The game is fun, a typical Idle clicker. Unfortunately I lost my upgrades and therefore gems. Furthermore I received a 50% off deal for the second level which didn't work. I had to use the full amount to unlock it instead. Those two instances sullied my experience somewhat. That's why it's just three Stars out of five

I've become a fan of Hyperbeard quite literally overnight. This night, just before writing this review. Their games are free, adorable, and intrinsically motivational. Start with their Alchademy game, them move onto their other projects, like this one. It's your standard "Match & Evolve" game, but you get new pieces to use quickly, and you can still speed up the process for free by tapping the timer in the bottom right corner. Pay-to win games where you feel no need to: their seeming staple.

A very easy and cute game to spend time on when you're bored! One thing I do think would be an improvement that could be made though is adding a way for incubators to open in their own after some time and an automerge feature, at least for the first stage. I always find my first world full of unopened incubators and low tier monkeys which really holds me back from unlocking newer monkeys.

Nice graphics but that's all there is. It's just a glorified ad-watching game that gets boring after a while because when you reach the 2nd stage progress just slooooows down. Or hey just watch more ads if you want it to go faster.

What you expect. Annoying that they keep moving, makes it hard to see which evolution you have and no list of all you have evolved available. Apart from that, fine game. Very cute. Different planets to set every 5 evolutions appart kept it tidy.

It's so cute. It is a free game, and I'm sure its developers need to eat every three days or so, so it does have ads. BUT they feel fair? Never, NEVER have I ever felt like "yeah, fair enough I can watch an ad for that" but Monkeynauts done did it. It doesn't get in the way of the actual game play, it feels like a fair boost. This is what free mobile games should be like. I am overjoyed by not feeling like a game is taking advantage of my addiction prone personality. I love it.

It's super super cute but I found it very repetitive. I played for quite a few hours and just found myself doing the same thing over and over, became almost a chore which is a shame as I really love HyperBeard games... nevermind! This ones not for me.

Geez, I was really starting to like this game, but now I'm kinda peeved. Despite not making THAT much progress, a few days ago I unlocked a few new species of monkeys. Long story short, today I went back on the game and they were gone. My progress was deleted!

This is the cutest game I have ever played. I love the animation and designs and everything!!! Game play is smooth and it's multi-touch (so my friend can play at the same time!)

I lovee this game because it has such good graphic and adorable little monkeys!!! Though i do hate how annoying the accomplishment thingy is. I would suggest this game because it is simply to cute to be true!!(Got that from Monkilyn). It is very addicting and cute and amazing. Very cute and fun, a bit boring since it gets repetitive after a while but if you're an idle player, then this is the game for you. Overall, pretty fun merging monkeys and getting a ridiculous ton of money I can't afford irl.

Forces you to watch an ad or it won't remove an irritating bouncing hand. I'm not trying to say you shouldn't have them in your game, you need to make money somehow. But making me watch one by literally pointing at it until I do is just annoying. I'll leave before I do something you're trying to force me to do. I don't care if it is for double money production. Just don't tell me to do it and I'll come to it naturally.

Amazing choice of games. It's really fun discovering new planets and galaxies. Collect cute monkeys and earn more money. Choose which one is your favourite. Have a great time with this game.

It is the cutest thing you will ever see and the gameplay is great!!! 5 stars on everything except for the controls which was a 4 star.

This is such an adorable time sink. I really like it because it's cute and fun and really easy to just lose yourself in while making all of these adorable little monkeys.

At first the game was fun but I just got bored of it after a while. But lucky the game has no glitches or bugs so that's good. Really the only problem I had with it is that it got boring for me.

no update at all. love the game.. no update. i have been waiting for months for something new. ANYTHING. hyperbeard throws us new games and then never updates!
