Overall, offline, this game is a fine Monopoly on Android. Although, the online experience is awful, with lags, reconnection when multitasking (sorry, what?! isn't this a mobile game? You're telling me I can't answer a text even not in full screen without disconnecting?) and lacks basic multiplayer functionalities, such as blocking a bad player to not play with him/her again. Also, the season pass is way too expensive (34.99€!!!) and does nothing but give you themes for the game (understandably)

App keeps randomly closing after playing for a while, and it's very frustrating after playing for an hour then you lose the progress of your game, and It does it repeatedly. I've made in game purchases as well and the game doesn't even work right I want some of my money back straight up. At least fix the issue I've read the other reviews and it's obvious this is a recurring problem for many of your PAYING customers.

Fun classic game. Something that needs to change is you shouldn't be able to just not make a move for an extended period of time. For example plenty of times people have purposefully ruined a game by not making a move (you know it's on purpose because they will use the comment buttons). Long story short if you don't make a move after 45 seconds AI should make a move/end turn for you.

I love Monopoly and always have. But this version doesn't play as fare as some of the other versions I've played before. I play against AI. But they are given double rolls 3 times in a row, almost never land on my property, get free parking multiple times, when they land on free parking/community chest they rarely get taxed or have to pay out money. I'm not someone who likes to always win but I might win 1 out of 6 games. You have to pay for everything, like boards and tokens.

Hello. I would like to leave my feedback on your game. Generally I like it, but I have some feedback and suggestions. 1. The dice are definitely NOT random. They are rigged according to some algorithm and it makes it very frustrating. The game is fun enough with random rolling. 2. Have an optional function that allows a "buy everything " option for the first round or rounds around the board. And then the board would be distributed much much much faster and we can get to playing the game.

I initially loved this Monopoly game and gave it 5 stars, but now I give it 2 for few bugs and downsides especially that it is a paid membership: 1- The AI must be smart when receiving offers and counter offers. They easily fall for silly offers and ruin the balance of the game. 2- The game crashes a lot, in almost every 2-3 games and this needs to be fixed. 3- There must be a visible timer for slow players who take a long time to play or throw dice. If fixed, it would be perfect.

Edit: Added features and no game breaking/purchase bugs so far. Easy 5 stars now, it's awesome. -------- Monopoly is a fun classic, but we also know that it is a very annoying game. So when I'm finally winning and the game bugs out gets stuck on a screen and it can't reconnect, that's the damn worst. Happens a lot, so 2 stars because it KILLS the game and fun. Also, my purchased content is only restored if I reinstall the game, when I launch it a second time it doesn't restore it.

I was playing with a friend we both had the game and was beside each other and it just froze up. No way to continue playing we ended up having to quit the game. NB:I was still able to use some of the features like selling a house and joining the video chat but I was unable to end the turn because that option disappeared and the others just wouldn't work.

It's a good game. The problem arises When switching between apps. Even for two seconds, the game kicks you out of the match. It's very annoying since you can't rejoin a match created by friends and the bot that replaces you dominates the remaining players. Especially a match that you've struggled so much to build stuff in. Please fix this Marmalade.

I love this game, I play everyday but I'm getting really tired of spending so much time playing a game, getting into a great position and then boom, the game freezes, no one can talk back, it stays on someone else's turn and never moves onto the next person, I waited ages to see if it would miraculously come back but no, I had to quit the game after 1 hours play and never won, anti-climatic 😡😤😭

So, spent $5 on the game hoping for it to be more fun then just repetitive game play. Should have read the reviews. It's a literal upcharge for anything. Tokens, boards, everything. When you spend money for a game, there's an expectation there. Something that gives it replay value. Not just heres a board game. I could have played the original board game for that. I was hoping there would be stuff to unlock. Very disappointed and wish I could get my money back.

Good game overall. Cheats with stations owned. if it has one station it charges you 50 when it should be 25! Seems to have very good dice throws! Good game otherwise. Added... I don't mean that the game cheats. The developers may want to look at when buying stations that the correct amounts of fees when landing on them are correct whether AI or human. Great game otherwise.

Very predictable. You can see that this game is fixed depending on what algorithm the AI's choose to follow. You can accurately predict what is going to happen and where their pieces are going to land. I have had an AI with only two properties last until the very end by getting nothing but dividend and other significant gain cards despite there only being a finite amount, even when there were just two of us left. No sense of randomness at all. Best played with real people, otherwise it is fixed.

The view of the board is far to distant. There is far to much movement with the camera shooting down and then up when the dice is throw. All the movement quite frankly makes me nauseous. Why can't you simply have an option to play with a close up static view of the board. The makers could learn a lot from 'Rento 2d lite'. A much better presented game which doesn't make you nauseous with all of the pointless whooshing up and down of the camera.

Great fun to play online strangers and the freezing has improved a little but still happens occasionally. What I really hate is poor sports though that get frustrated and sell off all their property for nothing to throw the game. An option to report a player who does this would be a great solution, so it can be seen if the player keeps doing this often and give them a stand down if they do. Poor sports ruin this game.

The games keeps freezing, whenever a house is bought or a move made. Very pathetic, especially after spending so much time playing, It won't progress to next player's turn despite selecting 'End turn'. For something that's being paid even if its a once off payment, it should be better than this.

STAY AWAY! AI is rigged to all hell and back. Keeps rolling doubles, never landing on any card you own, and if it does its usually low cost ones with Barely any houses. If you're even able to get any houses or hotels because you're always landing on the AI cards and almost every chance card or community chest is negative. But whenever AI lands on it, they get something good. RIGGED!

Great game overall, the only real issue I wish they would fix is the following... When the computer player wants to trade property and you reject... The computer will keep making the same offer each and every following turn. Even after the player says reject all offers over and over. Other than that, I think it's a great game... It's Monopoly ❤️

Recently when I try to play an online game, halfway through the game it would just freeze up on my turn. It doesn't let me end my turn or anything, and it's frustrating for everyone else in thr game as well because the game can't continue. Whenever I try ti reconnect, it just either freezes up again or says "Rejoining at the start of the next turn" except that next turn never comes.

I loved the original board game so I happily installed the electronic version. Some original game pieces such as the Iron and Shoe are not included. Paying $1.99 per individual pieces is a bit pricey unless you want an entire collection for $9.99. I bought two additional cities game boards but don't like the color scheme of the Paris Board, Hot Pink was not shown in the preview display. I like the custom game features.

Would love to recommend this game, think the quick online game is really fun, but there are just too many bugs, constantly disconnecting and multiple times it just freezes, sometimes when you're a half hour into a game, frustrating! Don't let the developers fool you, they've known about these problems for years and have yet to fix them.

Great game, but content is too expensive without the Season Pass. I thank the developers to allowing the change of player pieces. But always playing as P1 purple in any map is just a little bit of nuisance. But the rest, regarding: themes, music and boards. Is ages way more advanced than the Ubi.. company PC port. There isn't any comparison.

Not a bad translation from the board game but the a.i is obviously rigged. For example; harder settings just mean that your piece will land on all derogatory spaces, while the opponents will literally dance through your owned places instead of a harder strategy. Other pieces & boards that you can buy, seem s little pricey too. £7 for a board feels a little steep for me. Overall not bad but room for improvement. EDIT TO DEV RESPONSE: IF YOU SAY SO. THERE'S NO WAY IT'S RANDOM

Monopoly has always been a heart-racing game, and the mobile version is no exception. This app will make you either grunt in satisfaction or frustration depending on those dice. The gameplay is great. The season pass is a bit expensive and there are a little too many in-app purchases, but there aren't any ads which makes sense for a paid game. Edit: Although both Google Play and the Monopoly app say I purchased the Explorer Pack, I can't use it. Not a major issue for many but still a bug.

This is definitely one of the better portable experiences for Monopoly out there today. Marmalade studios did a great job making an experience that gets the job done and gives you enough options to tailor the experience reasonably to what you want. While I'd certainly appreciate the option for a few more house rules, there's more than enough to have the experience you want. The pricing is fair too- for the price of an indie game you get the pass that gives you everything, with no caveats.

In hard mode , it is an excise of frustration. The dices are loaded. Computer players get a automatic pass over your houses and hotels in particular late in the game. The cards are loaded. Player would be at least 400 to 1000 dollars less than other computer players after two trips passing go. Player could be as much as 2500 dollars behind other due to income tax and other timely penalties by the time the game is finished. Never mind the developer. The game is rigged.
