This app is not useful without having access to a separate trail map. Unlike the Whitehorse trails app, the trails are NOT marked or colour coded for difficulty level. Furthermore, there is no ability to click any trail from the map to find out the info / details. Although it does work properly and has plenty of "fluff", as a purely gps based bike app I would wait to buy until it is improved with the functionality one would expect. ***Update*** The most recent version has addressed the issue of color-coded trails and the ability to click on the trails directly from the map to see the info. For the dozen or so trails at Montana it is still on the pricey side, especially compared to the Whitehorse app. That being said, for someone coming through town who has never been up Montana this would be a handy app to get you around the trails.

The map functionality in this app is unfortunately terrible. Trail names are hard to read and some are missing. You're much better off downloading a trail map PDF or picking up a print copy. It is not anything like the Whitehorse trail map app. My purchase was refunded, and even though I still have access to the app I exclusively use a PDF and the posted signs.
