MontavueGO

So far this has shown to be an amazing and responsive app. I can only comment on using it locally from my home Wi-Fi network, but from what I have seen so far the live video feed is 99.5 percent instantaneous. At it's slowest, there has only been (at most) a one or two second delay time. Montavue is proving to be an amazing American based company with great products and outstanding technical support by people you can actually understand over the phone! I hope they continue to upload new support videos on YouTube every week or two, as they have been extremely helpful. Would love to see a video specifically on using the features of the MontavueGo App. A+

It is moderately difficult to set it up at first but I managed to do it. For the people saying it goes to blank everytime you open it it, is true but all you need to do is create a favorite for your cameras and that helps a lot. Also there is a feature in the settings that lets you open with the cameras that were previously selected.

Overall a great app with tons of features. On the down side of that, it can be overwhelming for most people to find a comfort zone with all the settings options. I've somehow screwed up the output on my dvr where it won't show on my TV screen now and have no idea how to fix that.

Im using 1.00.001 as its the BEST and fastest version while supporting all new/old dvr and nvr. The updated versions such as with dmss are very slow on my phone and disables screenshot which techs need, and are very complicated for end users. Please consider releasing the prev version for iphone as an optional install. Android can always download the APK. Thanks.

Disappointed this hasn't been updated to support Android Pie. Pixel 2 has been on it since August so my app doesn't work right and I get a message saying it's designed for an older version of Android. No response when emailing support.

Crashes frequently on note 8. When starting to view a playback you can only advance the time slider 20 minutes ahead until the 3rd try. Then you can go to whatever time u like. It generally crashes by the 6th movement.

I don't like that the new update has a white background. The dark background was much better. Playback only works when it wants to and is very glitchy. UPDATE: Still can't use playback. Not working!

This app is super slow, needs to add camera to grids every time you open the app. Play back doesnt work, and for so reason the camera has to reload all the camera everytime you go in or out of a view.

Such a horrible interface. You can not see the cameras as soon as you open the app, it needs lot of clicks before you can see the cameras. Stay away from it.

After last update. I'm having issues with playback, events and fast forwarding doesn't work.

Lost notifications after recent update. Play back does not work as expected. UI icons are not decipherable. UI is confusing to use in general.

Last update causes my cameras to go offline, autologs me out of my account and then does not let me log back in. I have to uninstall and reinstall the app every other day. Please fix the app.

They need to work on their wholesale website and communicate with customers better but the cameras are epic and the app is easy to use. Tech support is good.

If you keep your phone on vibrate like me, notifications are worthless because they don't vibrate the phone.

I like the app however, play back on mobile is kind of complicated and i can't see my tripwire lines. Only on my tv where the nvr is hooked too.

I have nothing but trouble doing playback note 10 plus was sporadic s21 ultra won't do playback.

Pretty decent app for security cameras. I use it for our carwash. All and all pretty good

The app is now slower after the UI update. You made it worse.

Older version was better, Very slow pulling up cameras.

This app is not user-friendly. Malfunctions a lot

Regret switching to this brand

Good interface, though I've only just set it up so I'm still learning how to use it. Our NVR was easy to set up and use. If you're even slightly technically inclined, it shouldn't be a problem. Has an option for audio output so you can hear what's going on around the cameras. I haven't found an option to go full screen with the cameras, meaning no UI, no Android menu buttons, just the cameras on the screen. Also, when you start the app, you have to start the camera stream(s) by tapping a button. There should be an option to automatically start the streams when the app is opened. And it crashes. Quite a bit. Hopefully this can be remedied in the future. Edit: App still crashes A LOT.
