Month Calendar Widget
Please note that this app was designed from the beginning to be only a month viewer, not a complete calendar app. This means that with MCW alone you cannot see your appointments. However, you can add basic event management to it if you download the extension app (more on this below).

Notes for 1.9.0 widget users:
• The layout was completely redesigned in version 2. There is only one size, not two variants as it used to be. For this reason you will see a message in your 1.9.0 widgets telling you must delete the instance and add a new one. This is inevitable, but don't worry, you won't lose any customization.
• To get the same layout of the smaller widget (3x2): Just resize it down to that size, the text inside the widget will shrink accordingly. See this G+ post: https://plus.google.com/u/0/105780286835414277546/posts/JJgAAUropxM
• For those of you using the Calendar Events extension, you must update to its latest version. Former versions are incompatible with MCW 2.
HOW TO USE ITThe calendar in this app is a home screen widget. Since widgets on Android work right on the home screen, you don't have to "open" this calendar: just go to the list of available widgets in your device, find MCW there and drop it to the screen.Remember you can resize it, and also put more than one widget on the screen.
EXTENSIONSMCW is extensible. You can download additional apps that enhance the basic widget:
• MCW Calendar Events extension: Lest you manage your calendar events right on the widget

You will find it here in the Play Store under "More from developer".The extension is a paid app. If you find MCW useful please consider buying the extensions to support further development of these apps. Thanks in advance!

Beautiful and simple widget. Wasn't clear to me events can be enabled with an in-app purchase. Bought Events extension. Now very happy with this widget. Torn between this and Month widget. Edit: I'm sorry but I have to uninstall this in favour of month widget. It's really fantastic but without being able to hide calendars without disabling them entirely I can't use it
Thank you for listening to your users. Not only were the issues fixed, you have added the customizable font size option. And YES, the option to disable the auto font size function is the main star of the show. Now the widget will look great on all screens. Review revised.
As a calendar it's perfect but I guess there should be an option to jump dates, say next year or so. Also, the app should set itself back to the current date if it was accidentally left on some other date.
This is such a lovely widget! I usually want to search a date and am too lazy to go to my calender, this lovely widget on my home screen shows me an overview and is easy to use~ Also, I downloaded a lot of widgets like this one but this is the best. Seriously. I mean you can customize it to the finest detail! Love it!
Love this app. Been using this since i switched to android 4 yrs ago with my xperia ray. Looks so clean. Easy to use. I like that the developer also responds to reviews / feedbacks as well. Updates are provided timely. Keep it up ☝ 👍
bad reviews are erroneous; this is a widget not an full-fledged app. and it is beautiful. it works in conjunction w a calendar app, but it s job is to be beautiful on your home screen. also, emailed jose about a problem and he told me how to fix it very same day. that s cool ya know. thanks José!
Very Good Calendar widget, I love it. Just the calendar month pages should be changed automatically. Then get 5 stars
Simply super. Highly customizable. Shows what is needed. I also purchased the extension. It's worth it. The developer is also very supportive when I ran it trouble and resolved the issue.
Font size is huge and gets cut off and it's unusable now, delete immediately.
A month to view is useful. Would like the option of more than one month, but I understand Android systems make this impossible.
Simple and you can design with what colors and fonts you want. You also have a wide range of other arrangements you can decide on. LOVE IT.
I liked it. Recently, it appears, I don't know is it kind a bugs. It keeps in a last date until I select next month and return to the current month, then the date change into the right date.
Please note that manual date change on a daily basis is required at present, auto date change doesn't occur. Once corrected can happily give 5 stars..
Good calendar, simple and effective. Would give 5 stars only it doesn't work when sized to 2*2 the numbers get all messed up.
Exactly what I was looking for - just to view the month on a home screen, without schedule management. I can make it look the way I want, and it works well.
bring back 2x3 as I usually stretch them in homescreen.. resized it but the font size does not resize..
I would have like to give 5stars but there is a defect: the widget does not refresh the current day. To get it properly highlighted I need to change the month and the go back
Not sure what the problem is, but before I installed this, overnight my battery would lose 6%, since I installed it my battery loses 32%. Draining my battery badly.
Not updating the date automatically. Every time I'll have to just launch the setting and close it out..then the date will get corrected. Plz fix this issue
I've had the app for years, had it on the S3 and now I got the S5 and it's stuck on the same day. Help. Love the app and I don't wanna install but it's bothering me.
With latest updates App has become Better to Best. Features for adjustable font has made app. excellent. Background transperancy permit to retain beauty of wall paper. I rate this as 5 *
Doesn't work anymore. It's an empty box with the loading circle thing in the middle. EDIT: I've restarted my phone. The app does not work. It was working fine until the most recent update.
After a recent update, app became useless. The calender doesn't show up at all. Uninstalling this crap, will install something useful.

What I wanted was a simple widget showing month.It does exactly what I want,fully customisable in fonts and colours, and very important for me, transparency.(LG G4)
Previously it is ok if resizing to 4x2. With the recent update, it does not look good anymore. Cramped.
Very simple (no unnecessary bells/whistles) - just the perfect minimalist widget I was looking for to display 2x2-size (nicely resizable) on my 2nd-homepage screen.
I have the widget since Samsung note 2 was launched. Now using it on my oneplus 3. I have been facing issues with the widget lately. The date won't change itself at times and when I try to scroll the month it does nothing. I have tried removing and adding the widget also tried to hard reboot my phone. The date issue got fixed but still not able to scroll the month. Please help
