Monument Browser: Ad Blocker, Privacy Focused

Trial-ing at this time. Downloaded the app yesterday and have been using it for several hours now. Impressions so far: Pluses app has potential. Nice feature set, easy to navigate and configure. Minuses, crashed several times already. Quite a few websites won't open citing SSL error, one of them being eBay. Sort these out and the Dev has a winner I think.

Pros: Lots of features, great user interface/customization. Cons: It's a bit slow sometimes when loading pages and the app crashes semi-frequently. Still, I like it enough to keep using it despite this, and Monument is a nice alternative to bigger browsers and comparable in terms of features. I hope the developers continue to improve their browser!

This is a really great browser and could be used as a solid daily driver if the problems with it are rectified. My 2 major problems are 1. Font size: The font size in the UI of the browser (not the webpages) is too small compared to the screen space the UI takes and that makes the app look like web wrapper apps with sub standard UI, And 2. User Agent setting: I am aware there is a setting in the settings menu to quickly change the view mode of the browser from mobile to desktop and other such modes but this feature is not stable. The desktop mode works on some sites while it does not on other sites. This wouldn't be a problem if all websites had a properly made mobile version but that is not the case and hence desktop mode is a constant requirement. These 2 problems are the only thing stopping me from using this as my default browser. Any user, including me would consider supporting the devs by paying to remove the ads after these two issues are sorted out.

This is not your regular browser, it beats imagination. This is that browser you've always wanted to have. Sleek, smooth, fast, advanced, and simple. I was able to load a CRM desktop site exactly the way it appears on my laptop without drag or delay. Many browsers I tried in the past failed to load CRM app properly. Less than 30 mins using the browser and I'm blown away already. Everyone should try this, no kidding.

This is by far the best browser l have found. I recently purchased it on my Windows phone. It is even better on Android phones. Definitely 5 stars! On Windows mobile phones, however, it can be installed onto your SD card. It would be even better if it could be on Android phones. However, it doesn't take up a lot of storage space, unlike that awful Google Chrome! I have just purchased it on here, too. Awesome 😎 l am not getting the pro version on this phone. I have it now!

I use on Windows 10 for the split screen functionality. A recent update removed the split screen option from the address bar when placed at top. Please put it back. I can't figure out why this was done. Using the address bar at the bottom makes using multiple tabs much more cumbersome. Again, please add the split screen button back to at least the menu for top loaded address bars.

Nice app with each and every important function. The black mode is very good and effective for night reading. Ad blocker doesn't work untill you have premium. Accelrated download function as VERY EFFECTIVE. It allows only 4 connection per download in free version. You have to upgrade to premium for 32 connection. This app doesn't contain ads. It allows to take full page screenshot. It contains read mode but i dont found it too much effective. Bytheway;it is a great browser. I reccommend it!

This is without a doubt the BEST browser for Android -hands down. I've tried (and bought) them ALL they're not even close don't waste your time. Great job Devs -I HIGHLY recommend. If you have the extra $2.99 to buy the ad free -DO IT!! No ads + extras are well worth it. I'd have gladly paid much more for the quality of this browser. FAST FAST 💨FAST!!

I loved the app at the beginning, loaded fast, and easy to use.. BUT the app stops every 2 mins out of the "box"; I timed it 8 times browsing Facebook mobile as a test, and even without browsing and just while looking (not changing) the app's setting. Nothing I did to troubleshoot could avoid this 2 min stopping. (HTC 10 with Oreo). Fix that and I'm back.

Wow! Very impressed by the level of scope in this browser and still managing to have a pretty tidy ui at the same time. I have a few requests: 1. I use an unrootable phone with 16gb internal memory and would *really* appreciate it if all saved pages and other saved data had sdcard storage option. 2. Manage my saved pages more; maybe in folders. Be able to see more page links at once per page. Find lozenge too bulky. 3. Different colour themes for nightmode. Apart from that, fabulous!

I gave 2 stars because it rotates screen landscape and portrait. Even my android is on portrait mode. There are no settings of screen rotation. See uc browser built in video player. It forward and backwards video with swipe. And can control brightness and volume with swipe. You can make it much better by adding these stuff to your browser.

A very impressive browser with lots of features but dark theme doesn't work anymore, it displays plain dark screen. I tried it on two phones, same thing. And can you make the tabs not switch places when I move between them, it's confusing to have tabs keep changing order.

awesome browser, I use it everyday, but tabs go missing, needs to show last 20 or so closed tabs to restore (possible mem leak) and tabs moving to the top of tab list is very annoying. also please allow swipe left or right or a button to switch to next tab. very lightweight fast browser with very useful pip windowed tab function, slightly bigger window would be nice, thx guys!

So dang slow. Like, I thought it wasn't opening pages at all at first. Doesn't understand what "about:blank" is, and doesn't have an option to open a new tab with nothing in it. It seriously just Google searches for "about:blank". Tabbed browsing is weirdly spread out. It's hard to know at a glance how many, or what, tabs I have open. I've used this app for about a minute and I already can't stand it. If I could give this 0 stars, I would. I couldn't get through super basic setup without finding obvious issues. Hot Garbage / 10, do not recommend. Edit: Dev response below is, frankly, terrible. Do not use this product.

I like this browser for its powerful enhanced adblocker. But there is one bug in the browser(when i open a webpage after few seconds the fonts and other things disappears from the page and nothimg is visible in that page) please fix this and then it will be one of the most popular browsing app.

Great to finally have "add new tab" and menu button at the bottom when toolbar placement is set to the bottom. The forward, backwards, home, info and specially the refresh button are left once inside the menu while browsing, also, the floating windows button. After pasting a copied text into the search bar their is no search button to quickly search that text, you have to manually open the keyboard by tapping the search bar then click enter/done in the keyboard when their shouldn't be a need to.

I will straight come to the point it is the perfect browser available right now! Its has unique and useful features. Definitely worth download. Light, fast, secure✨

Hi I bought the pro version because of its unique download accelerator features. I have few suggestions for home page I need to be able to make any webpage as default when launching browser. Also url search needs improvement in loading the website instead of Google search results. Lastly there needs to be password manager support. I have been using LastPass and it doesn't autofill for any websites. Please consider my requests and see if they are possible in future updates.

I like it very much BUT for one annoying bug: after clicking a link in eg mail, Facebook, you cannot go back to the previous app when clicking the back Android button because the browser crashes. This prevented me from keeping it as default and maxe me give 3* but i keep coming back whenever an update is there to see if it's fixed ;) Edit: fixed indeed! Using it as default now. Thanks!

This browser has some major bugs like not googling information inside the browser from a context menu. I wrote the developers and promised I would buy premium version if they reply. They don't seem to care. Ads became very insisting, long and loud. Also tabs are organized in a silly way (last used go first)

I'm ready to buy premium version but app itself is buggy and has issues and missing features needed for me to replace chrome or Firefox. No dark mode for webpages (like Opera) (not AMOLED black like it is 2 the bars). No font change option. Ads & trackers still bypass. Black bar is there when search bar is selected 2 show on top under full-screen mode (still exists). Pop-up window now doesn't occur & no background player for audio and videos. Add a syncing acct option.Please improve for 5 stars.

Nice and fast browser, no ads, great UI and dark mode. However if I try to log into any website that requires a Google account I get an error message: Error: disallowed_useragent. That's a no go for me so I'm going to stop using the browser.

Very fast browser than the other browers app i've ever tested, very light app, easy to use, and the speed of tab switching between slide-to-slide also amazing, very smooth browser, i liked it, great job for the developer of this browser app, and i wish the update later will be more good than this version.

I loved it, but still needs a lot of improvement. For example it doesnt open a new page when i click on a link in news pages. Sometimes it gets frozen. There must be a shortcut to open a new page or a tab when holding tab square few seconds...Good luck

It's light as described; has a very low memory and CPU usage which are great to be honest. But, it needs a bit more optimization in the animations which stutter a lot. Opening and closing tabs also feels not as snappy being so light.
