Mood Log is a great mental health tool. I'm glad I came across it when looking for another similar app (that I couldn't find for Android). It's user friendly and intuitive, plus I like the ability to look at trends in mood words and ratings, and the flexibility in how many reminders to check how you're feeling and at which times. I've already recommended this app!
Been using this app a few weeks and I really like it. I compare it to the one my partner has and this one seem to have more options and to be more flexible, which is why I've managed to stick with it so far. Only minuses would be that the look/design of the interface is pretty underwhelming; that the app needs a dark theme; and that if upgrading meant I could protect the app with a password (or pattern or other security measure), I would definitely upgrade :)
This app is great and does exactly what I wanted it to do. I have been using it for years and logged over 1300 days and it has stayed dependable even through a phone switch (although that was kinda confusing to navigate). It would be nice if there were an option to just not have time zones because I live in two different countries and the logs' dates get mixed up when I cross time zones. Other than that great app!
I love this app because in addition to the default moods and physical aspects, I can add my own that best reflect how I feel. It's in a quick, easy to use, yet sufficiently detailed format. I best love that I can put in my own notes as short or as long as I want. I don't need the complicated graphs I saw in other apps. The simple words that I use to describe myself in this app best meet my needs and allow me to more clearly convey my life to my doctor and counselor.
I don't know if this will replace my previous review or extend it so let me say that the problem I was having with this app was cured by an uninstall reinstall (my face is red). It's a great app I've been using it for a year there's features I wish it had but it's a frictionless way to get a lot of data recorded and it helps me look at my health and figure out what's causing what.
Seems simple to use, which is just what is needed if you are already struggling and need an app to log your mood ups and downs. It is also able to be slightly customised, so you can choose a different colour spectrum to define your mood, rather than sticking with the default setting. I also like the way that you can set up to three reminders a day. I haven't worked out yet how to email or print out my logs. Please let me know how to do this. Thank you.
this app is a very useful tool. It can help you be more present and it is a good tool to go along with behavioral health therapy. one thing that could be improved is the way the graph feature functions - it's a little confusing but after making more entries I see how to enter my data so that the graphs are useful.
Wonderfully customizable! Only app Ive found with 10 point rating and can add own tags to more precisely describe feelings. Most features on free version. The only app I've ever been willing to pay to upgrade - very affordable one time cost to export data to send to my therapist.
Like the simplicity of setup and allowance to add multiple logs in the day, add moods. I like how it adds neutral, good, bad, & physical, mental categories. I would like the graph to be a bit easier to see daily fluctuations, but the weekly/monthly is good.
Nice app. Thank you! On the scale from 1 to 5 or 10 I would loved to have for instance 7.5 and not only the round figures because sometimes my mood is really not as high or low but somewhere in between and would have given me a better indication of my real mood at the end. However, this app is really helpful, thank you so much!
Simple but useful, the graph needs an option to view one day at a time, and would also be nice if was easier to see where each day starts and ends in the graph.
Needs a slightly better layout and chart for measuring daily/weekly/monthly moods. Could be more visually appealing. But the ability to add mood description tags is a big plus.
Super useful features, and you don't need a monthly subscription. The only thing I'd add is decimal options for mood entries.
I'm updating this review because the Developer very quickly answered my problem with not being able to edit a completed record (you can). See the response for how. I like that I can add things such as "sleep problems" to my own personal Tag List. IMO for people who suffer with depression and anxiety this is a good program to keep a written record of the severity (or not) of these things. The reason why I hate it is because there isn't aby way to EDIT the Record once its been Saved. Add this Function and I will increase my rating.
It works well. The ads when submitting a report are disruptive, and block where you're typing, and the big check button is in the way as well. But over all it's a good app. I really like how customizable it is
Exactly what you would expect it to do. Log your Moods. Edit: I have used it near every day since I downloaded 2 months ago. They say to gain power over your demons, you must name them. If you make it a habit to recognize your feelings and label them, you will feel better. Just taking the time to jot a few things down will help tremendously. I cannot suggest this app enough. And the custom reminders are beautiful. A notification to be mindful for two minutes? I couldn't ask for more.
love this app, especially that theres optionsto customize the colours of your moods and that you can add tags, even tho i dont really use that option. but the best feature by far is how simple its design is, no unnecessary clutter or graphics. please never change that <3
I love this app! My therapist suggested a similar app for its visualization of moods over time, but it was a paid subscription and I just don't have that. So, I went looking - and found this! It's flexible, quick and easy to use, and free!! The 3 dollar premium is one-time and absolutely worth it for how much I have and will be using it. Good customization for moods. The UX could be a bit more polished, but frankly, I'm just happy to get a better app than the one I was suggested. Thanks guys!!!
