A lot of room for personalization. You choose how often you get prompted to record your mood, you choose what additional data you record, you can be as specific or as vague as you want when adding places, activities, people, events, episodes, and even lets you journal! I was looking for means to monitor my mood throughout the day for mental health reasons and this app managed to do that and so much more. Very helpful app.
Great App. It takes a moment to set up, but then you can forget about remembering to track your mood and let the app remember for you. Export CSV function is super helpful to use this data for various reasons.
I chose this after trying all the other apps because it is the only one were you can properly customize your moods. It offers everything the other apps do and it's cheaper.
A great, useful mood that does the actual mood tracking rather than opinion of your mood. Great stats, but you need to have a bit of background to understand the meaning of values. Graphs and correlation are super useful. 10 out of 10
Great app, not have to think about tracking my mood, cause I get prompted. Not annoying. Good insights, like the alert function best. Tells me when I become significantly more stressed, helps to adjust behaviour in time.
I would definitely recommend this app! Beautifully built, very customizable and handy. No risk of data loss or leakage. Really helps one understand themselves better! Thank you mood patterns for this gem! <3
Finally, an app that lets you just track mood data on your phone without having to give anyone your email. Wonderful! This app is highly customizable, allowing you to track your mood, custom moods (for example, I added an uninspired vs creative slider), where you were, what you were doing, events that were happening. The dev is highly responsive- I emailed them about a bug and it was fixed in less than 24 hours. Couldn't ask for more!
Exactly what I was looking for! A means to track my mood to manage my depression in a simple visual way, without getting bogged down by graphs and charts. Color coded patterns are easy to recognize. If I start to see a lot of one color I can consider what happened at that time that triggered that mood whether bad or good, so I can avoid triggers or recreate an environment. I especially appreciate the integrity of the plus feature, as a means to ask for support but not require it. Beautiful!
Excellent app, very good range of options and very stable. UI is intuitive, and accessible. Colour coding also helps to avoid being overly clinical, and feels nice to personalise it. The one thing I really, really wish it had was a one time purchase option for the pro version . I would happily pay more than the going rate to avoid a subscription model.
I really like the app but it's buggy on my phone. Pages take forever to load or don't load at all (especially the survey needs at least a minute to load the options for each promt) and the buttons on the pages with options to customize are only sometimes pressable. This might very well be a problem with my phone as it is old and I'm using nearly all its space, but other apps work just fine. Thanks anyway :)
It's nice and in theory I would give it 5 stars if it worked, but I'm just not getting any survey prompts pop up. I don't get what I'm doing wrong? I allowed notifications for this app, allowed it to turn on at start up, and took it off the battery optimization list. Still nothing. I would love for it to work but it seems like it's just dormant Edit: I set the notifications to not auto-cancel and so that they ring continuously and it worked! 5 stars. Amazingly quick reply too
Terrible UI. Everything is remarkably difficult to find. An older gent would likely give this up in no time. I've had it for weeks and still struggle. That being said the fundamental ideas are great. I'd pay for it if it wasn't a subscription and if the Ui was better Edit: after REtrying to get sleep track notifications they started working and I can now input sleep data with relative ease if the notification takes me to that menu.
I think journaling by writing or typing is a pain. Sooner or later I used to stop keeping my diary just because I would get lazy. This app is a much better way to journal your life. You can setup sampling and have the app ask you how you feel at regular intervals. No need to write things down anymore. Also loved that all data is stored encrypted on the device itself.
Really great and reliable app! I love how customizable it is, and how I can make the surveys as simple or as complicated as I want. There's not an absurd amount of content locked behind a paywall, which actually makes me more keen to try out premium. The tutorials are really nice and compact. Overall a great mood tracker, so far! One question for the devs: are there any plans to make this available on IOS in the future? I've got a friend that would really love to give this a try.
It's insanely good even at the beginning. Plenty of features, the logs look great and ask for all the necessary data. It's just amazing! However it's quite laggy. But I am sure you have in plan to fix its smoothness. Also I wonder if you have a 1 time payment option or plan to incorporate it someday. Best regards!
Seems like a cool app, but it's a bit overwhelming and confusing to use. I like the idea of having more options (anxious/numb/etc....) But I wish they weren't ALL subscription based 😩 Overall though my biggest issue was just that it's simply too overwhelming to use and figure out. For me I didn't entirely find it user friendly in that sense.
Brilliant for anyone who is interested in monitoring their mood, or wanting to be more self aware. A very affordable prescription, you can input your own activities and locations, and view your mood changes easily. You can also set the frequency of survey. Great analytics and statistics, especially for correlating mood to activities locations and people. However sometimes the app is a little buggy and stops working.
Great app but keeps crashing since yesterday... Can't even open the app anymore without a notification stating that the app keeps crashing Update after re-uploading it (28.01.21): you can open the app and take the surveys but it crashes again once you press the three dots (for the settings) on the top right.. Update 01.02.21: works really well after the update! Thanks for fixing it! :) it's still a great app and very easy to use and I love it
So far, my preferred mood tracking app! It offers so many options in terms of factors that affect your mood & you're able to see all of the results easily! I had some problems with crashing early on, but when I reached out the problem was solved super quick and efficiently!! Super good team behind this app! Currently trying the pro version 😊
The best mood tracker app I've tried. Slightly difficult to understand at first, but the surveys go fast and only take a few seconds and the graphs very accurate. I used to forget adding things from my day and trying to sum up how I felt in one day, but since my mood changes a lot and this app reminds me and lets me take really quick surveys of how I exactly feel at that moment. Really reccomend!
As a therapist I am finding this app extremely useful with my clients - those on Android! However I am using it very simply. I have eight custom survey scales, and I'm finding the trend graphs very useful indeed. I would love to give clients a configuration file they could import to make setup easier and quicker. The simplicity of mood scales and trend graphs is very powerful, and VERY few (if any) other apps offer something similar. Please make this available for IoS too as soon as possible!!
The developer is incredibly helpful and when I had issues, they walked me through them one on one and are actually implementing changes in the update. The app is easy to use and a good tracker for what I need, the settings are really versatile to configure. It's nice for comparing before/after events too.
I like it, but I can't figure out how to use the sleep tracker. It might just be a paid feature like the extra mood options. That aside, it does help me track moods and see who I was with and where when I had that feeling. Took me a bit to get setup but once I got it rolling it seems awesome!
I downloaded the app yesterday and the buttons disappeared. They are actually there, but I can't see them. If I touch the white sceen where the button suppose to be, it works. It's annoying.
Nobody likes wordy tutorials. It was too much... I started reading and trying to take everything in, but got bored after a while because the tutorials are so meticulous (in a bad way). Then after a while I tried clicking around and trying to figure out how everything works by myself, because really I don't want to read an entire chapter on how this app is supposed to work, but it's too complicated. Not very user friendly.
Great app for a data nerd like me who has trouble pinpointing how I've felt over a stretch of time (for example: between therapy appts) without over or underestimating. I am a little confused on the how to add my sleep data, and some instruction on some of the more complex charts would be nice, but overall I'm amazed at how much is included and how customizable it is.
Pretty cool app. I like that it doesn't require an account and the data is stored only locally. Privacy friendly!
This app it's a mess. In the beginnig it requires a PIN, thing that i consideer really unnecesary because my phone already has a pin( i would have suggested this as an option one time inside the app). A really agressive and fast introduction, and boring two- color menu, full of graphics, and options that i didn’t really understood how to use. The only thing that i wanted its a simple app with a calendar where i EASILY track my mood.
This app covers everything I was looking for as a mood tracker! Only downside/complaint is that UI and instructions don't make it clear where to find some features - more thorough instructions or including a "How to" file could go a long way. Once you slog through the confusion though, it's with it.
Overall a very well-made app that is easy to use and has many tools to give a good overview of your entries. The insight tools seem quite powerful but they can be a bit difficult to understand and are presented in quite a "basic"/bare-bones way, so some more work on the design and user-friendliness of these parts of the app would be good. Additionally, I would suggest adding the ability to filter entries in 'Insights' based on factors in addition to other available filters.
