I just downloaded the app and I was playing around. Then I realised that the interface is quiet messy. It's not what I thought it would be. If you open a menu and you go back, a different menu pops up. Overal I love the style and that calms me down. Another problem I see is that I can't use a feature what I really need to have because it's in the paid version. It doesn't say it in the description at all. Even I don't mind to pay for it, it's because that I hoped to get straight into it.
This app is beautifully designed, but still needs some work in the UI and the flexibility of what it offers is limited. I love that the background of the three clouds activity changes with time of day, and the animations are not distracting but do help bring your attention more to what is happening around you. On the other hand the typing area is so tiny you can't really see more than a few words at once. Often the challenging thoughts activity is helpful, but sometimes I want to just freewrite.
Used to love its simple and charming graphics, and ease of use. I was so happy to read that development would continue, but unfortunately the new interface makes it a bit of a chore to use silver linings, as my keyboard covers the last cloud (and perhaps I am not remembering correctly, but didn't there used to be a "next" prompt to go from cloud to cloud?) and I must toggle back and forth closing and opening the keyboard. I'd be happy to send a screenshot.
This app has been amazing, I've been using it every day for the 3 clouds function for almost a year now. It is a great way to reflect on your day and end your day on a positive note, and a mini diary to look back on. However, the new update is awkward, the clouds don't flow as well, and the "random day" function is only going to days in August. Still an awesome app for anyone looking for something like it and is really calming, just don't love the new look 💜.
I really like the free version because it helps me work out my thoughts more as I practice to do this on my own. One think I just noticed though is that it's really easy to accidentally delete entries in the thought diary as it only takes a swipe if you dont see the "are you sure" bar, the entry is gone. I would suggest changing it so when you swipe you have to click a delete button that's more obvious or something.
I initially installed it because of the aesthetic appeal. Recently I have been using the planne function regularly and it is really great to have the three subsections for work, play and test. It helps me make sure that these needs are balanced. I try to fill the three clouds when I remember, but I'm not yet regular with it. The Thought Diary function was immensely helpful in a difficult situation. Even my therapist was really impressed by this app. Thank you so much!
This app has a very enjoyable and relaxing art style and is wonderfully formatted. While there is a paid subscription option, the free features are very useful tools in training your thoughts to be more positive, and you wouldn't be missing out on much. I think that if there would be a paid subscription that there would be more than you'd unlock with it, it doesn't entirely seem worth it to pay 8 dollars a month for a daily planner and 5 meditation options.
I truly love this! The thought diary and the three clouds exercise are especially helpful. I really recommend this if you're struggling with depression: I've had major depression for 9 years now and since I started using this app, I've felt a difference. Thank you all for making this! (If you were to add more choices for the meditation background sounds, I wouldn't mind at all ;))
I just started using this app but I'm a big fan so far. It's exactly what I was looking for and has a very nice aesthetic! Suggestion: I would like the ability to add more "cloud" bubbles for a day if I think of more positive things, instead of being limited at the traditional three. While I think three is a good daily exercise, it'd be cool to be able to add more if I wanted. Maybe even a sky screen where it motivates you to add more clouds to populate it?
Absolutely amazing! I was never able to meditate before. I tried several videos but they never helped. I could never focus my mind and I never feltrelaxed because I was thinking too much. But this app helped! I did the body scan meditation and it was absolutely amazing and so calming. I almost want to start doing it every night before bed. I also love every one of the features. It is nice to have all of this in one spot. just the interface itself is relaxing and not too cluttered to look at.
i adore this app. very beautiful illustrations and features. the only problem is that the app crashes sometimes when going back to the techniques page, which in my opinion isn't that much of a problem but just as a feedback! may i suggest an affirmations feature? one that either allows the user to self write them, or one automated one for each day as a notification or in the app itself, or both! i also love that there are many different sounds for meditation. you're doing great, boundless labs!
It has a cute visual design and is very simple to use, only I do wish there were some more features other than writing down notes. Maybe some guided meditations...idk, something with voicework. EDIT 8/15/2020: A few months in and I'm starting to face a bug. While using the daily planner app, which I often do, copies of my tasks will come out of nowhere and more will eventually be added automatically when I tried to delete them. Also, I did make the subscription purchase but for some reason I rec
Aesthetically: it's stunning & pleasing to the eye - perfect color choices, font, and even the font size - small details matter & they know it. The animation/graphics are charming and appropriate. User interface: well made and exceptional across the board. It's easy to navigate & understand. It was clearly designed with the user, platform, and purpose in mind. Overall: I adore it- the sections, deliberate prompts, questions, examples, and starting references as to why each is important. All!
It's not a perfect app but its really good. I would grade it between 85-95% amazing. There's always things that can be improved, however little those things are. I personally find it to be helpful. I'm of mixed opinions about the notifications, finding some helpful and others annoying. Overall this is a great app. You get out of it what you put into it.
I really love that we got to enjoy the app for free. This makes me feel like they do care about our well-being. I plan to pay for it if it's one-time off, but I hope it's not too pricey.. This app is amazing. I love that it is pleasant to the eyes. The colours calm me down and I love three clouds the most even though the reminder doesn't always pop up at the time I've set. The thought challenging journal is quite helpful, but quite a lot to fill in so i tend to use it less. I love this app!
Beautiful, easy to use. The aesthetic is really calming and adds to the experience. I love the graditutude journal and really solid cognitive restructuring activities, which includes scales, asks you to identify feelings, gives you cognitive distortions to select from, and encourages you to challenge your negative thought. Really lovely app and I look forward to seeing how it develops further!
The app definitely is prettier after the update and the design is flawless in my opinion. I do not enjoy the ad for the subscription service on every page and it takes away from the calming nature of the app for me. Some apps give you an intial pop-up about the subscription when it first loads and thats all. I would prefer that woh this app. Also I feel as though the price is steep and that more content was available before.Download it and use the silver lining clouds. It really does help.
I do really enjoy the thoughts for the day and the thought challenge, however the goals are something I've had to approach backwards in order to not feel I've failed in some way. Instead of setting goals to achieve for the day, I just try to do my best and then I log what I accomplished later. It's helped me be less negative in my daily reflections.
I have the free version which is great for reflecting on positives in your day and working on thoughts and behaviours to improve on. Will definitely be upgrading to pro soon. It also helps that it's so pretty (silly but it makes it more enjoyable to go to each day - very calming images and colours). Great app and will be recommending it to others.
I'm starting to take initiative in dealing my executive dysfunction while also being kind and patient with myself, so this app has been an amazingly helpful tool. Not to mention how beautifully designed it is. I love seeing the little koi swim by in the background while I'm writing up some plans for the day. Not to mention the little reminders on how to make good plans (specific, realistic, etc) is immensely helpful. It's clear that a lot of thought and dedication was put into this apps dev
I wish there were more cute animations in this app but it is a very beautiful app and it fairly user friendly, despite the occasional glitches. I also wish there were more categories (like one for self love) and that the app provided reminders from outside sources to love yourself. Self reflection is a valuable tool but I feel like the experience could be enhanced by including some motivational and inspiring quotes or tips to help get you going when you first download the app.
incredibly helpful, especially the thought diary. the thought diary makes it easy to find alternate perspectives and reflect on things through the day. the three clouds are a brilliant tool to make every day feel more meaningful and the day planner's checklist is much more satisfying than the calendar. i do wish the meditation sounds had an option to keep playing in the background and when the phone is locked but that's just a small nitpick in an overall fantastic app.
This app helped me to go through some stressful situations. I was using it for about a month, then I started to have as an habit the exercise thay it offers. Is easy to use and simple. In the app you can do 3 things: 1. You can write 3 things you are grateful for, every day. 2. Analyse your thoughts, physical sensations and feelings about a specific situation, and then challenging those to understand yourself better and how can you improve to deal better those experiences. 3. Meditate
This is so good! The graphics are fun, light and very pleasing to the eyes. I have a lot of planners already but this one asks how I feel whenever I complete a task and it helps me assess if my daily goals truly have meaning and if they are beneficial to my overall well-being. The meditation exercises are also wonderful.
I really like the layout of this app, kind of like a day planner or journal. Lots of useful tools and trainings on things like cognitive behavioral therapy, meditation, and grounding. The journal options and ability to set reminders for myself are a huge help. Great tool!
