Moon 3D

The app frequently crashes in the month view. There doesn't seem to be a way to get the moon phase for an arbitrary date. Also the app locks itself into portrait or landscape mode depending on whether you're looking at the month or phase view. Neither this of the paid version have been updated in quite a while. Pitty - I wanted to like this app. Uninstalling.

Ive explored other free moon phase apps and this one has always been my favorite. Simple with no excess clutter filled with ads. And because its simple and to the point, the download time is faster than other apps trying to offer more. This app and Night Sky Lite are always on my phone and are used to show my children the wonders waiting in the sky above us. And apparently its warewolf approved! Always a plus when browsing for moon phase apps.

I have been using this app since I bought my Galaxy Note II and have loved it and had no problems, until... I installed KitKat on my phone. Now it acts peculiarly. The widget performs perfectly. But when I open the app it is on the last day it was opened or had a day selected, regardless of whether the 'save date' box was checked. I have done everything possible to fix it, including resetting my phone to 'factory condition'. I am saddened by this, but I will keep using the widget!!!

Using it for entertainment purposes. However, that doesn't preclude the fact that the developer did an outstanding job on a well designed App. Keep up the good work. If I can donate please send me Google Wallet Link, sorry I didn't do PAYPAL! Other wise Thank You.

Works great, and looks good too. Does everything it claims but the description fails to mention this also doubles as a good werewolf detector. Just set it to full moon and shove it in people's faces. Unfortunately it gave a false positive and we lynched the wrong person. Still an irreplaceable addition to our werewolf hunting arsenal.

Gives you the phase for any date you choose, defaulting to today's date. Can shift from phases to exploration of the surface of the moon, and can be set for Northern or Southern hemisphere - failure to set the right settings to do so may explain at least one negative review. Has a nifty widget to show a small scale phased moon on your front screen. My only complaint is that it won't rotate out of portrait mode, which isn't so good when using a tablet in landscape mode with its keyboard.

I absolutely believe, in my life, that the moon DOES affect our lives and minds in very bizarre and mysterious ways. I'm endlessly curious about it, but for now, I love the way this app gives me a heads up that people may be a little crazy at work due to a full or new moon!

The monthly calendar function doesn't work anymore and the dates of the new and full moon are always a day or two off.

Would give it 5 but it does not switch to month view on Samsung Galaxy S III. Bummer because the moon shots are beautiful & I love the widget.

This is the best app of its' kind I've yet to find. Only thing I can think of to make it better would be to find actual hi-def photos of the moon and use instead of the poor quality obvious plastic 'globe' (you can see a seam @ certain angles, seriously!). Trying the well thought out 3-D quality does nothing to improve it, sadly. It really needs better clarity, would like to really be able to 'explore' lunar features per actual listed functions instead of zooming in on blurry globe. Otherwise it's OK.

It is very acurate.. and I love the fact it doesn't need requirements to download it <3 Keep it up developers :)

Simple basic app nothing fancy, but will come In handy when needed. For free I like just fine.

Sorry but I have to uninstall because I don't feel I should have to rotate my tablet. Then on top of that I locked orientation yet this app ignores that.

This is an awesome app. Needs 2 things. Rise and set times, and a way to get back to current date from phase or calendar mode. 4.5 stars.

After self set to current date, problem solved . Swiping bugs for next and previous date. Would be Nice If include moon direction

Not good. Twice its disappeared from my home screen and from crow in my applications even tho the market says its still installed. Uninstalling, zero stars if I could

I can only go backwards in month view, never forward. Other than that, nice app and widget to have on the phone.

Month view won't scroll correctly if at all. Too bad. I loved this app. Please fix soon.

I've tried a few moon apps and this is the best. Nice widget with a good clear picture. Good calendar. The 3d explorer is fun.

Worked great on my samsung s3 and s4 but my s5 dosnt have the option to choose hemispheres or go into month view.

I wanted to know the different phases of the moon and when they would happen. This app does just that. I love it. It's really cool.

This app is cool. It just doesn't update on its own for some reason. Every morning I wake up to find that I'm looking at yesterday's info, and it won't change unless I change it manually.

The 3D effect is nicely done - most obviously in the exploration mode. The monthly mode is useful and it is good to see the date of the next full and new moons at the bottom of the main screen.

Just like must other Moon info apps, the y totally stuffed up the southern hemisphere. ALL of the images are round the wrong way!
