Moon Phase Calendar
Get interested in our application if you are:
• a person who is feeling the influence of the Moon on his or her body - the calendar of the Moon phases will allow you to carefully plan important events in your life so that the Moon favors the implementation of your plans! With this application you will get a notification up to 3 days in advance about Full Moon, New Moon, First Quarter or Last Quarter and you will be able to properly prepare for this day. In addition, you can observe phenomena such as perigee (the Moon closest to the Earth) or apogee (the Moon farthest to the Earth) - thanks to this you will know when the influence of the Moon is strongest and when the weakest!
• amateur astronomy - view of the compass with the visualization of the azimuths of the Moon and the Sun will allow a better understanding of the phenomena associated with them (at school, university or during independent observation). The compass shows with colored arches the visibility of the Sun or the Moon in the sky on a given day in the selected location.
• photographer – the view of the Sun allows you to check when there is a "golden hour" and "blue hour", so you can plan to take beautiful and professional photos outdoors.
The most important functionalities of the application:
- The Moon view with over 15 useful parameters, including the current phase of the Moon, illumination, rise and set of the Moon, the dates of subsequent phases
- The Sun view with over 10 useful parameters, including sunrise and sunset, dawn, twilight, length of day and night
- calendar with a view of the selected month and important parameters of the Moon or the Sun.
- compass view is the visualization of azimuths of the Sun and the Moon (and elevation angle) for the selected location
- notification with current Moon illumination and phase name
- notification of upcoming Full Moon, New Moon, First Quarter or Last Quarter in advance up to 3 days
- widget with the visualization of the current phase of the Moon
- the ability to check the parameters of the Moon and the Sun for any date, both future and past (eg date of birth)
- everything for you free and offline!

I love this app! It's one of my favorites of all time. I docked a star *only* because there are some ads. I adore that there are multiple sources of information within it... there's a calendar with the major moon phases, a text page with the day's important moon and sun info, a "3D" page with the moon phase, and more. Moon Phase Calendar is fun, informative and, to me, a sentimental tool that I thoroughly enjoy.
I love this app, I like to be able to predict when I can go stargazing without glare and this does it. Also good for scheduling meteor shower viewings. It gives me so much more than I really need to know, too, which us a good thing since I can also use it to maybe refine an astrological reading or plan for various holidays and festivals. I have it as a widget on my home screen and can just look at it when I want to.
i love this app, it gives so much info and from my experience, while there are some ads they aren't intrusive in the slightest. i do wish i could pay to remove them permanently rather than just watch an ad to get rid of them for 24hrs though. but this is an amazing app with so many features and i definitely recommend it!
Love this app. The widget lets me keep the moon visually on my phone so I can tell at a glance what phase & % the moon is in. You can also set notifications by moon phase. My only request is to allow more than 1 notification per phase (ie, in advance and day of), then it would be perfect. Still, great app that I highly recommend to anyone interested.
This app is perfect for me to help me stay on top of the various stages of the Moon. The geographic identification is very precise. Excellent for photography timelines. I am very pleased with this app. I haven't found anything on the negative side of the Moon Phase Calenders app after installation and daily usage.
I tried several apps such as this one, mainly for the widget. This one takes the cake all day. Very realistic and simple. Perfect against a black wallpaper or one of stars. The extra features are just bonuses for me. I run the app across all devices of mine.
This app is really simple, and easy to use. I like the notifications, as well as having the moon phase on my notification bar, although this feature does occasionally not update immediately so you have to open the app to make sure it's at the right %. But still the best app for this I've seen
Honestly, the free version has minimal ads and it's so easy and accurate to find the information that I need on here. UI is nice, sleak, and easy to read. Been using this calendar for years, not once have I thought about switching to another app.
Very useful app, functions perfectly. It's not intrusive, I'm not bombarded with ads or notifications, it doesn't interfere with anything else on my device. It gives me the information I want and does so efficiently via an attractive user interface.
I really like this app but it's kind of weird like sometimes it alerts me to stop sometimes it doesn't. I just updated it so hopefully that'll be solved and I can give you a five-star rating
Beautifully formatted, the colors are nice and the information is everything I wanted and more. I like the math portion and calendar portion. I had 2 moon phase apps before this but neither told me when the next moon phase would be. Overall very happy with this app, better than compitition.
I want to give 5 starts, but I can't. For some strange reason, I seem to be unable to clear the app from my notification bar. I've tried numerous times but it's ALWAYS there. It just SUPER annoying!!! I love the moon though, so I still like the app.
Interesting but apparently for the more advanced astronomical crowd. App is a bit confusing and somewhat hard to use (unless you're part of that advanced crowd or willing to spend a lot of time on that).
Great app! Very advanced and I love that I can put a moon widget on my home screen. The only reason I docked a star is because I can't make the widget a 1x1 square. The smallest I can make it is 1x2 rectangle making it hard to fit in places. Thank you!
Extremely precise and detailed information. I also like how it shows up on the notifications bar with the exact percentage of the moon cycle. The picture of the moon that is shown is so realistic. It's beautiful!
I have used this app for over ten years. It's still the best moon phase app available. It's just a great and very useful app...
Ads are of the worst type. They cover the entire screen and play sound. You have to watch it and get "rewarded" with free app use for 24 hours. The app itself is nice but this is not worth it for me.
The information is correct and very useful, which I appreciate, but what I'm hopeful to get are more widgets. Perhaps one that shows the time for the sunrise and sunset would be nice.
Decent enough app with all the info needed however I deducted 2 stars as there is no way of permanently removing all the ads. You can watch an 30 second advert in order to have no ads displayed for 24 hours however I would rather pay a few £££ so that the adverts are permanently gone but sadly this is not available with this app. Shame really as otherwise this is a very good app.
A comprehensive view of everything about the moon in real time. I love that you can personalize the app to notify you when the moon is at one of it's quarter phases, it's very helpful!
Literally all you could need from a straightforward lunar calender. Would be cool if they added certain characteristics of the energies for each cycle. But I cannot complain. Also doesn't spam you status bar with nonsense you don't need.
Awesome moon application. I use it every morning. I especially appreciate the feature to watch an ad (always tasteful) to receive 24 hours add free. A really wonderful application. Thank you for developing and perfecting it.
LOVE this app. keeping me updated on moon phases helps with my practices and knowing the signs and times of sets and rises has been incredibly helpful. so much info available that I don't even know how to use too! seriously well rounded and aesthetically pleasing
I absolutely adore this app. It has so much information, and the widget is a lovely touch. I love having a little moon floating on my screen. I like the notification option too, but my only issue is that it doesn't pin to the top of the notification bar, so it gets pushed to the bottom of the list. Also, the critical reviews complaining about ads are absolutely ridiculous. The ads are just a tiny little bar at the bottom of the screen that doesn't affect usage of the app at all.
