Now the application can notify you when the Moon is in "New moon", "First quarter", "Full moon" or "Third quarter" phase. You can disable or choose for which phase to be notified.

Widget stopped working - too much effort to get the rise and set times correct. Shame - used to be a good app
easy, with zodiac and settings to select what you want to see.
Used to be a wonderful app .now doesn't connect to database anymore .
the app says the sun will rise in New York city at 11:07 am tomorrow. I'm sure that is wrong by several hours. probably a big in the time zone correction.
Primary reason that I am looking for an Ephemeris app is to know the exact time of the lunar phases; New, 1st 1/4 waxing, full, 2nd 1/4 warning, last day old moon, repeat. This app is too vague for me. Thank you for your efforts though, not easy to do for all needs!
I love the illustration but the rise and set times are wacky! It says the sun doesn't come up till 11 am! But goes down at 8 pm. We are days after the longest day of the year! So I know the moon rise and set can't be right. It's a basic info that I should be able to get from this app. Instead I'm checking with the weather network!
This app was great before the update. The moon phase page is terrible compared to how it used to be, and the notifications are 3 days late when you set them to 1 day before. It does me no good to receive updates after the event happens.
Overall it's a great app! However there is a problem I have noticed with the notifications.. I have set all the notifications to notify me of events a day in advanced but it doesn't happen. Instead I get the notifications a day after the event happens. This is why it's a 4 star rating... When you have the time could you please look into this? Thank you! 😄
I agree with many people on here that I would have liked to have seen the calendar stay around. I don't like the fact that you have to tap on a separate section to access the calendar for a specific day. I like the illustrations better.
The update is terrible. Both sun/moon rise and set are wrong and the calendar is gone. I have to uninstall it and look for another one.
Very nice and useful application. I recently had Samsung Galaxy GALAXY A50. The sky events command doesn't work.

My only problem with the update is the calendar that I used almost daily is no longer a feature. I'm going to need that back. I'm looking for a new app...
This app was awesome before the update but now it's pretty much worthless. I won't be using it any longer.
New interface is terrible. Too many notifications. No calendar. Was good for years, now it will be uninstalled.
this app sun rise/set, moon rise/set times are off. not accurate for the time zone i live in.
Edit - just got the update..thanks for bringing back the widget! Keep up the good work! I'm going to continue using this because I love the new look. Just waiting for the widget to come back :)
The widget is back, but only 1×1 not like the last one which was 2×1 which was a lot easier too see.
I used to love this, but hate the new interface. It no longer has the calendar view I got it for, and despite time zone edits, does everything in UTC, which is really inconvenient.
Fine app EXCEPT for sunrise, sunset, moonrise, moonset times. Although my time zone is set correctly America/Toronto, sunrise is listed as 0949 Jul 13, 2018, when it was actually 3 or more hours earlier.
Liked it a lot more before the update. It doesn't give what sign the moon is in anymore :(
Notifications don't work, they notify the day after not before as settings specify
I am soooooo bummed! I just installed the update and I woke up with a totally different app:( it was the only place where I could see the whole month with the signs for each day. I do not have words to express the disappointment:( it was the best app before the update. Is there a way I can get the old version back?
I was told the best way to take a picture which of the full moon and with this app I can do it on star chart please download it it's worth it Susie
No calendar functionality to see phases in future months. Major shortcoming.
The rise and set times are wrong for both sun and moon
BEWARE. It was an okay app. Then I found out it was draining my battery because it is CONSTANTLY running in the background. Not sure why a mom phases app needs to be running at all times. Possibly data mining of some sort. Beware. No app about the moon needs to be running at all times
