Even though it's meant for Hebrew-speakers learning English, as an English-speaker learning Hebrew I play the timed vocabulary game. It's a quick thing I can do any time I have a few minutes and even though there are times when I have no clue which word to use, it is beneficial to me to practice using deductive skills to figure out the meaning of a word based on the shoresh. Also the translation part of he app is very good.
The app barely even opens. It can take 2 whole minutes without it opening. When it does open, you got to have the same process when you look for a word. To sum it up it can take 5 minutes to just look up one word.
Great app. Fantastic dictionary (the best one I know). Highly recommended!! Just one major problem - loading time. It takes up to 10 seconds on Galaxy S10. That's longer than the haviest games.
Having full volume video ads surprising you when you open the app is embarrassing when you're in the office and the cost of premium (48 NIS on time) is outrageous. If it wasn't so overpriced they wouldn't need to use invasive advertising to get people to pay. It's not like it has great examples or something, it doesn't even tell you the gender of the Hebrew translation unless you translate back into English.
The app is better than Google translate because it has nikud. But as Google translate, it has some wrong translations or inexistent results. But the worst thing is that it has too many ads! Very interruptive and annoying
It used to be a great app. After the latest update the loading time of the app is tooo long (over 2 min!), searching failes ("The process failed; please try again later"). This message appears already for two days. Please fix the app!
I just started to use this app. It's very helpful, whether you are needing assistance with Hebrew or English. It contains a good dictionary (the Hebrew version includes nikkudot/vowels for most words). There are also other resources,, such as games and "cards" to assist a person who is trying to learn either Hebrew or English. I hope that the developers of the app will continue to think of more games, that could be played by people who possess various levels of skill in these languages. I also hope that they will consider making an app that will assist people who want to know how to read and comprehend, the written and spoken, news (חדשות).
Really really fun and great!!¡¡ just takes time to load when you open it and there are a bit adds, but not something annoying
Lately. The app brings up adds even at its start. You just launch the App and you get an Add in a language you do not know! (IAA, in German). You cannot get away with this Add, it forcefully drags you into a website to see what they want you to see. These are violent, disruptive, unaaceptable adds. If such adds will cotinue - I will continue to review the App and complain about such unacceptable adds.
This is the best! for the hebrew words i look up, it gives me nikud (vowel markings/pronunciation), several translation options for hebrew, and the dictionary form of the word. in other words, i can look up an inflected word and it will accept it and offer suggestions for what the basic word is. so helpful if you don't yet know the basic form of the word. Excellent tool! It also has a fun vocab game using past words you have looked up.
I used this application to learn hebrew better. I speak a good amount, however I used this to type hebrew words and see the english meaning. It was a great study tool. It does have a lot of ads that can spam your software but easy to bypass. Overall 4 out of 5 (minus 1 star because of the ads)
One of the best translation or the best translation app. Had installed it many years ago. grammer games, daily tips and many fun options. My confidence improved.
It would be good if it gave you the hebrew probunciation of the english word. It not only does not do that, it gives you hebrew text and doesn't even teach you how to read it. So this app is basically useless
I live the app very much, but would really love the translation from hebrew to English to be offline. Is that a feature that's supported in permium version or not supported at all ? Thanks
Great app love it best app for translation between English and Hebrew has great games and stuff to learn how to speak Hebrew good highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a good translation between the two languages
Nice app, better dictionary than Google translate, could use better phrase translation. The 'word of the day' doesn't work.
the app is loaded with commercials. loads up very slowly. using google is much faster and more efficient
Basic translator is rubbish. Wanted to know how to pronounce a simple word into Hebrew. It only pronounces the needed word in English. Not worth it.
definetly better the Google translate but takes way longer to open up and there are so many ads. I'm gonna stick with google
Amazing learning app. Consists enrichment games which is very helpful and useful. Highly recommended!!
Very good dictionary, but it crashes as it opens on my Samsung Note 20! Can't use it :(
אין על מורפיקס. אני באמת ממליץ לכל ישראלי שיוריד את האפליקציה וגם ישתמש באתר אם הוא עובד על המחשב. הן באתר והן באפליקציה מספקים תרגומים מדויקים למגוון אדיר של מילים כולל הקראה קולית ומתן דוגמא לרבות מהן. פנטסטי! I highly recommend using the app and the website. Morfix is an incredible online dictionary that translates a wide range of words in a very precise manner and supports it with a practical example of the way they can be used in a sentence.
Often fail to load when searching a word, very upset over it. Feel its developer not sincere to provide its use
great help for study and translate, but why no plural forms of the nouns and no infinitives of the verbs?
Sadly, I had to erase the app due to inappropriate and offensive advertisements.
Good but would benefit from describing the roots and etymology of words in Hebrew.
Works perfectly as a dictionary and good for exercising in English.
Not bad, but the audio tells me how to pronounce English, whether I input the English or the Hebrew word!
It's a good dictionary and translator for studying Hebrew. But the activities, which are designed for Hebrew-speakers learning English, aren't so useful vice-versa - surely there could be an option to flip things around so that Hebrew learners can benefit from them too? Additionally, the frequency of ads can be annoying (and the premium version is unusually expensive for this sort of app at £10.49).
