Morning and Evening Devotional

Very nice app. I like the devotions it has. I think everyone could learn something from them. It has lots of good features to use like bookmarks, notes, highlighters, and ways to help you get into the Bible like daily verses or a reading plan you could start. My only complaint is that there isn't a way to set notifications to remind you to have your study time. I'm really bad about forgetting.

No problem with the app. Content is amazing. After all, content is from Spurgeon so Amazing isn't an overstatement. Only problem with the app is massive ads issue. I hope if they can resolve it. Ads just do not appear on the screen and then go, rather they stay for whole time the app is active. That is sheer frustration.

Amazing app. It functions as a daily devotional AND an OFFLINE KJV Bible where you can even search perform searches for key words (all without Internet). It records your highlights, annotations, and bookmarks. It even has a reading plan to finish the entire Bible in a year, 6 months or 3 months. It does all this without taking up a lot of space. I recommended this 100000%!

If you're thinking about downloading this then I'm assuming you already know a bit about the content, so I won't talk about that, I'll just talk about the actual app. It's good, it runs well, it automatically loads the correct devotional based on the day and time, but is also very easy to navigate if you want to skip backwards and forwards. The only slight issue is that the developer is clearly not a native English speaker, so you occasionally have to contend with a bit of Engrish in menus.

This is a "must have" app for Christian's who want a serious devotional life that will nurture them towards the direction of Christian maturity. I've been reading these devotional for a good three years before I ever downloaded this app. Although the language might be a bit difficult for some, with a little struggle, the benefits reaped far outweigh the time it takes to understand the days entry. A wonderful app and I highly recommend it!

It's been very enriching; I always feel like printing it out as a perchment of the patriachs; to enable me highlight or underline adaptable areas of the specific messsage most relevant, applicable and impartable to me. Is it not possible to make highlighting or underlining of areas of concentration possible. I finally found a daily devotional that uses the K J V . I LOVE IT. Great way to start and end the day. One app does it all. Devotions, the books of the Bible, daily verses and study plans. Great App. Extremely easy to navigate between Bible books, chapters, and verses. Font and line spacing can be quickly enlarged for those who may have difficulty reading small font. App allows one to highlight passages, and it reads passages for the reader. Information is for the ad free version.

They point out things to me I had not known before, or had not known fully. I've not watched the ads yet, so can't say yes, no. The ads, I guess, are good or bad according to who considers them. YET, everybody should remember data mining; the source our private information goes to is Criminal. Do all we can to avoid it. We should try to remember this and other threats, unless we have Norton in concert with our phones to say whether it's safe. I have Norton. As for the app itself, WONDERFUL :)

I have been blessed by this devotional app. It's has really helped me in my daily walk with God. One amazing thing about this devotional is that the message is timely and really fits with my personal life.I always feel that God is speaking to me. It can also be used offline. God bless the developers and the writers for availing themselves to be used by God.

This experience is amazing. On Sunday's on the Nuclear Carrier in the Navy there just wasn't enough time to sleep, exercise, go to church, or study for advancement and/or awards. Something had to give, usually sleep. Now that I do have time, it's wonderful to be able to read different parts of the bible and still take place and understand the meanings, as well as what's written. Thsnk you so much.

My experience with this morning and evening devotional is awesome, it's inspiring and strengthening as well. The parables in the stories are straight to the point and directly correlates with the Scriptures that are given too, which makes it all fit together perfectly. Thanks to the ones that make this app possible. It's an absolute gift.

Charles Haddon Spurgeon, the author of the Morning and Evening Devotionals, lived from 1834-1892. So the devotionals are written in the English spoken at that time. Some words and phrases may need to be researched a little to gain understanding but overall they are easy to comprehend and are very sound theologically. Iwn a copy of them in book form, the app makes them easy to carry and use anywhere. Many other features: highlighting, bookmarking, sharing, notetaking. Thank you for this app!

I enjoy this app very much! The ads that constantly run at the bottom of the screen are annoying and a distraction. Something I have to get used to. That's my reason for 4 stars and not 5.

Great devotional app! Simple to use, just click and it pops up, you get 2 a day, and ads are minimal on the bottom of the screen. The devotionals themselves are very deep and well thought out and help inspire your faith! Definitely recommend for any believer! I use it twice daily since downloading!

This devotional is really helpful. There are has been times when the devotions would speak specifically to my situation and that has been very helpful. This devotional has also led me to pray on a number of occassions. I recommend this devotional to any one looking for a closer relationship with God.

I have own the published version for years. Never gets old. Very encouraging and challenging. Very convenient to have these great writings in an app.

A true blessing! I've only been enjoying this app for a few days now and in that time determined that it's a keeper! I don't like having apps on my phone that are a waste of space and this app is anything but that. Rich in content and well designed. My only wish is that it notified users of new content when it is available. (If there are notifications and I missed it, apologies). Still a true blessing to anyone wanting a closer walk with God.

Spurgeon is wonderful. Very thankful for availability. I wish previous readings were easier to get to. I often miss one or two and need to go back to catch up. A list of recent readings at the bottom may be an option.

The devotional is exceptionally good. It draws me closer to my bible both in the morning and evening due to the inspirations obtained from the commentary. I like the short passages of the bible, though I often have to go through the whole chapter via other bible app. This app still allows me to nevigate through the readings of previous days. It's very ok.

Great way to start the day! Great insight and the scripture is right there to read (along with the rest of the chapter and even the whole Bible!) right there in the app! I will read the devotional first then use that scripture or whatever else has come to my my mind as my inspiration for what I want to read in the Bible. Has been a great help to me in starting a very doable daily routine of spending time with God.

The app is good, it eases the burden and stress of thinking on what to read on a daily basis. The inspirational contents are also touching, motivational and insightful. I am learning some new words from this app too.

The morning and evening devotionals are so spiritual and on point and encouraging. I always look forward to reading them. The Bible reading plans are amazing, especially with the audio option, it's been easy to follow through. Great app. 5-star

Its such a good app. however the bible in this app is the same as those in many other apps by you. sometimes downloading the app make us feel like dublicating bibles when downloading other app like commentary and lost books which has the same bible. could it be possible that the 3 titles be consolidated together and have just one bible. whenever you come up with any other app you just update the consolidated one.

It's a nice devotional with a clean interface and easy to use, the Bible is also there. Ads are there at the bottom but not obstructive. Worth getting the paid upgrade. Thanks for your good work.

This devotional has helped me in my walk with God and His Christ. It is straight forward without any ambiguities. It's simple to understand. It has reference Points to further assist explanations. I'm elated to have it on my pad. A lot of work would have gone into this, so I pray that Almighty God bless and reward you all richly. 😎

Overall a wonderful app (all the features are great), however the thee's and thou's in the devotionals make it hard to connect with the text and also makes it seem outdated. Modern vernacular wouldn't hurt anyone! 😉
