It's an awesome app for Halloween. Although some animations can't be downloaded, the app is worth the download. But one problem is that it only works on new phones. My 2017 phone isn't compatible with it so I suggest phones from 2018 work well with it (or 2019). I wouldve won the Halloween contest (2021) but some kid came up as Hitman Agent 47 and gor the price. The app is worth the download (depending on the phone you use)
This app is terrible. It crashes immediately on every phone I try. I tried downloading an apk from the website instead of Google play and got it to open, but none of the animations worked. I really expected better from something endorsed by mark rober. Hopefully they get this fixed by Halloween because all the products they sell that require this are worthless without.
Missing certain animations. I bought a few different shirts only to find some don't even have the effect available. No reason to have the shirt. Side note my animations didn't play. Needed an update, the ones they have work. Also decided to use a Galaxy S6 instead of using my S9. The S6 crashes, would have been a good use for an old phone. Can't believe it crashes. So if you have an old phone this may not work for you. Also wish they still had the smoke animation. Shouldn't sell shirts if there is no animation. Please update.
Doesn't work I bought an iron man suit the digital deluxe edition which you requires you to download this app so you can put your phone in the little pocket of the suit. The one massive drawback to this is that the app does not work at all! Once you've followed the instructions to get to where the iron man costume is it just gets stuck in a loop saying can't play can't play. Should have got the basic suit because paying extra for the digital deluxe is madness because this app is useless
Looks cool would have given it 5 stars but when i put my phone into the pocket it keeps sliding out because it don't have side velcro to hold it in plus phone kept slipping down so you can see mostly the phone and not the animations but on the plus side it does look freaking cool and a good concept if these problems were fixed i would rate 5 stars plus tell my friends to buy one.
The apps keeps crashing, everytime you try to go in it says "Can't play this video". I know people mentionned to try to press play animation before the message come up but that it plain ridiculous. We all paid good money for The masks, T-shirt, Christmas sweater, we should be able to use all use the app. I love the work you do and it is quite impressive but this app doesn't seem like something you would promote. Why can't it be updated to work with all new devices ?
Dont bother buying costumes or using the app. The app doesnt work, and I've tried 3 different phones, and 4 older versions. It gets stuck in a loop of "cant play video" and then freezes your phone. It's a shame because this app USED to be really awesome.
The shirts are awsome and so is everything else, but the app dosent work for me (i have a s8+ if you want to patch it and whenever i go onto one of the shorts it says "cant play video" and renders the app useless. I will change my review to 5 stars beacuse the app is so awsome as long as it starts to work for smasung s8+
The app doesn't work on Android or iPad. It gets stuck in a loop of whenever you open something it says it cannot play video and makes you stuck. Have to close the app each time and cannot open anything. Sad as I live his YouTube videos. Big let down.
This app is great! Absolutely recommended if you wanna have a great shirt/halloween costume! The only problem I have with it is that I can't access some of the animations. Feedback for that would be appreciated!
Come guys fix the app. I've used it in the past and it worked fine. Now I'm just stuck on a video can't be played error loop that wont even let you click out of it. I was going to buy a shirt or 2 but not if there app wont work to use the eyes when I want.
Looked for this app as someone had it,and I wanted to try. Only to find out the same version on the same kind of phone won't have the effect (deer eyes) I wanted. Tried 4 different phones, all different results
Absolutely rubbish! None of the animations work and if you try to contact them, through the "Contact Us" button, you get an email saying that delivery has failed because the email address doesn't exist!
I bought the red Christmas sweater and cant access the fireplace app. The download button takes me to the app store, even though I have already downloaded the app. When I try to access the sweaters page I get stuck in a "Video cannot be played" error loop. I have to close the app through my phones app manager. This makes me feel like the company wants you to buy their product and then says bye felicia
I think the app is awesome and I'm sure the Halloween costumes would be awesome but I can't find any costumes like the masks or the digital shirts and stuff like that and some of the actions don't play but until that's fixed I'll give it a higher rating.
Yep just like everybody said the app crashes & you can't even open it. So much time wasted looking at costume t-shirts and then the store app to buy them. which they didn't have very many shirts left and then to find out the app doesn't work. I have $62 worth in my queue waiting to purchase if you fix the app. How about instead of making the app service all eyeballs have people download the certain eyeball they want instead of a whole bunch of them that don't work and jam up your phone.
Neat concept. However, only one or two of the animations even worked. If the glitch was fixed I would love to give a try and rate again
A true Dud. D.O.A. Why are you still selling these costumes & shirts when the app necessary for its use wont function on any device? Its dishonest. For the sake of your honor & integrity put a large notice on the website so people know they are just buying a t-shirt. A t-shirt with a pocket in it for $25 + shipping. Oh, and the pocket comes with a hole in it so if you thought you might keep anything smaller than a phone in it, you can't.
Nothing but a "Sorry, this video cannot be played" message. Update: After recent update, app simply crashes and shuts down shortly after starting.
What a huge shame. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. A. It doesn't work. You cannot play any videos at all making it useless. B. It hasn't been updated for use with newer versions of android anyway. Very disappointing to see so many people writing the same thing for such a long time with no changes being made. What a huge shame
Most of the animations don't work and you get kicked out, annnnnd I bought a shirt for my daughter and the app didn't even have the animations for that shirt! When I tried to write an email to get it figured out it got sent back to me because it was an invalid email address. 100% rip off!
Great concept, but like others, I have a Galaxy S8 and the videos don't work for me (which is the point to these dynamic costumes). Hopefully this is hammered out by Halloween.
app doesn't work, hasn't worked for months, all we are getting on multiple devices is "video will not play" some idiot has offered to send individual animations manually but thats to much messing around i simply want the app to work as promised when i purchased both multiple masks and t-shirts.
App doesn't work! It crashes the moment you open it. Just download a few gifs of some eyes and try to make them work. That's what I'm doing. Shame I bought the stupid shirt just for the app you need to make it work properly doesn't work. Stop selling your products if your app doesn't work!
Fix this app I bought one of the shirts on ebay and the app doesn't work when I tried to email them it said there email is shut down. Get rid of the app if your not going to fix it so that people don't waste there time trying to get it working very disappointing.
Every time I clicked on something it would keep prompting me that it can't play the video. So i couldnt even click out of it and would have to close it out. Its dissapointed because mark rober is one of my favorite YouTubers. But it might still work for you.
Hello, I'm writing you a letter, confirming that the clips on the app are refusing to play. Every time I go on an option such as the iWound or the Moving Eyeball, it keeps saying "Can't play the video". I use this app every Halloween and it is slowly approaching in the next 2-3 months. Please fix this problem as soon as possible.
