Morse Attacks!

The application crashes for me when simply trying to change options under Settings. The touch-screen straight key interface seems a bit touchy for a beginner, at least in the tutorial mode, at least on my phone. One possible feature might be to offer a paddle-like two-button interface as well (a la Google's Hello Morse), and allow the user to choose between the two. Between the freezes and the touchy straight key, I ended up having to bail before even getting to the actual gameplay. Another possible feature might be to hit the targets by successfully reading the "beacon" letter/word that opposing ships would send, and typing that in to direct the fire appropriately. I really, *really* wanted to like this game, since it's the only Morse code tutorial game I've seen so far that comes close to the idea I had for learning and sending characters through a Space Invaders style format (hitting targets before they get to you at the bottom of the screen). Maybe if the stability improves, I could like it more. The concept is great; the execution... well, I don't want to knock it necessarily, because I appreciate you even trying, and you've already done a better job than I could do.

Very fun game. The idea is very original and fun but some things have to improve. Its very annoying that if in one word you got a mistake on 1 letter ther is no way to erase it and it takes a lot of time to reset to blank and start writing again. There should be an erase word or letter button. Also i think it should be levels and not waves because then the first waves become boring when you already know morse. They have no ads so thats a great thing too.

Hi. Did you forget to put a button for cancelling previous input in case we made a mistake which we will? Add this and it'll be great. Scratch that. The function is by swiping the screen as told in the tutorial, but the tutorial isn't intuitive. You should tell us how to do it regardless of us making an accidental mistake or not in the tutorial.

Absolutely excellent! I've tried learning morse code several times in the past, and failed. This fun and clever game basically taught me morse in two days. I am now composing and transcribing morse code very slowly! I would love to see this app expanded to include the option to hide the morse code from the ship bubbles (advanced mode), and with numbers and punctuation added as well. Please keep improving this fantastic app. I will send in a donation. Oh, and add more airplanes! 👍👍👍

This game is ridiculously frustrating. Any small mistake is fatal. It takes so long to clear any mis-tapped answers that the game is over before one can make another try. This is a great idea and would be fun. As it is, any enjoyment is overshadowed by the difficulty of never making a mistake that cannot be deleted.

It's a genuinely fun game but it's brutally slow at reading wpm. There's no adjustments to anything but noise. I'd like if the game could process characters faster, I have ships coming at me and I have to slowly type and wait for each character to process so it's not interfering with other characters.

It is very fun the premises is to type the letter or word in Morse code before the ship hits you but it is so nerve wracking to get them that I find it hard to learn what letters are represented in their coded form but still a really good way to keep learning and to sharpen your skills in typing in Morse code

Very obnoxious music with Morse beats in it making entering Morse interesting. Beeps are quite delayed from when you actually press, and the letters take too long to be accepted. Great idea for a game but lacks execution

I like the concept, but the sound is severely delayed from pressing the screen, which makes it very hard and uncomfortable to play

This game is amazing I played this game with my cousin and friends. I will rate this 5 star because this game is fun and so exciting but Can you put more features of this game? Like can you put multiplayer I will recommend this game for players who wants to learn Morse code easily

It is slow on the input. The pause between letters is LONG. It is hard to get some of letters done before you time is up.

Great game to start your experience with Morse code! However, I think there should be an option to select the speed of pressing and typing 😄

Fun to play, but becomes laggy with more ships and ultimately fail near level 20.

You r really feel the pressure in this game. Helpful for practicing code or killing five (or twenty-five) minutes.

Dits and dots disappear as the levels increase. Great game. You can clear current letters with a swipe up. A five star game!
