This app has helped me so much. I tried soooooo many other apps and games and trainers and nothing worked. I don't think it's a fit for everyone but it's perfect for my style of learning. No positive or negative incentives, just drilling it out over and over again. You can stop and start whenever. The ads do get a little annoying sometimes, but they're not unbearable.

Phenomenal for learning and mastery through repetition. I downloaded this to learn how to set up Morse vibration patterns for frequent contacts. The various modes are great for picking up the characters, and there's great practice for translating words into code. Only thing keeping it from being fully featured (and 5 stars) in my opinion, is lack of a mode to practice translating code into full words (via keyboard). Currently only has code-->individual letters.

Terribly unuser friendly. I've used many apps of many kinds. This is one of the hardest to navigate. I get stuck because there's no back buttons. The phone back button has to be used twice, but isn't always available, depending on what part of what menu you're in. All the menu's are good ideas, they're just poorly executed.

Yeah with some dedication I pretty much learned Morse code in an hour and change, extremely helpful. You aren't going to get much anywhere without going away from the learning more though, I recommend the one where you have to spell out the word using the dashes and dots. Well worth the minimal time and effort, thank you for giving me the privelige to have such a wonderful app.

It's a great product. The tests are a good way to practice til you get familiar. An upgrade I can think of is to have the ALPHABET produce sound when it's pressed. And a timer or a way to measure how fast you are in terms of wpm Thanks!

The only downside to this is that sometimes when listening for the sound recognition, ads just come and spook you. Overall it was a very helpful app for me to learn morse code! Edit: I would very much appreciate if the developers add some kind of counter of how fast you are inputting the characters on the "words" and "learn morse code" sections.

Tapping morse isnt great but playing morse may be... irregular response to tapping morse on screen. Also sometimes the correct answer isn't in the choices so you can only get it wrong. Good for learning morse, a repeat played letter with one tap instead of three different ones to get a reply would be better. Sometimes also plays variable length dits which can be confused as dashes. Could just be my ears, I am getting old maybe! :-)

The app is overall pretty good. I'd recommend it. However don't try to do the words to Morse with the screen tapping where you do the short taps and the long taps. It is very common for it to confuse the two and count you wrong.

A very good app for learning morse code and makes ot easy to lean in lots of ways. Premium seems to actually be worth it if tou want to go farther. Adds dont seem to be blocking anything and dont always show but every 3 seconds. In all a very good experience.

Great app to practice, reinforce, and translate morse. Settings can help refine your learning experience. Interface is nicely designed... Ads are meh. O and 0 look very similar. Maybe add a non-randomized practice? I'd like a guaranteed way to practice some letters/numbers that show up rarely (even with probability off).

UPDATE: Now worse. App starts but as soon as ANY option is tapped, app crashes. Even after restarting my phone. Keep trying... 2 issues. First, having an ad pop up every other screen change is unacceptable. Put out an ad-free version or provide some level of control over when it happens. Second issue is tapping in letters. screen can't seem to keep up with anything faster than about 2 wpm. This needs to be adjustable. I'm doing around 8-10 wpm on other as but that's way too fast for this one.

To many ads... disappointing. This app was ok at first, then it started showing an advertisement after every letter drill. Seemed like it had much to offer, but the frequency of ads makes me not even want to go premium. i will normally buy an app if i try it and find it useful, but this one will never get that chance.

When you're given the option to hit the long or short it's no problem but as soon as you enable the tap function you run into the problem of the app confusing long for short. Long should last about half a second while short is about a quarter of a second. In other words, M (--) should take as long as H (....). But this app registers M (--) as I (..). I'm not sure how long I'm supposed to hold for the long but this is a terrible app for efficient learning.

I love doing this in my freetime! One mode I feel would be great within the app is one that is just like the "LEARN MORSE CODE", where it just gives you the letter without it telling you to code in the beginning, or an option in the setting to disable that.

in my opinion the learning style is ineffective, it goes through the letters randomly so many letters are not exposed as often. I didn't know what Z, X, P, Q, B, F, or D was until I went back and looked at them. I'm not sure if should do this, but before I have to type the letter without help it shows me what it is before. (example I is .. and it would show me I .. before having to put .. on my own) this gives me the answer instead of remembering it. Thank you for reading

Needs a learn mode where it shows the letter and plays the sound with no visual representation of the sound. Start slow like that then increase. The worst way to learn morse is by visually associating the sound with a visual representation of the sound (i.e. . - for A). Go direct from sound to visual of the LETTER!

Here is only one thing wrong. this teaches you those visual patterns which is not a good thing. because if you learn them first you always have to think those when you hear stuff. take those sections off and this game is 5/5. but if someone wants to learn to morse i suggest you to download other app. this might be hard to understand for beginner

Neat concept, but very buggy app. When it shows the mistake dialogue, you need to tap to clear it, but tapping also inputs your first key again, so then you "mess up" AGAIN. Also, forces you to watch ads about every 5th letter, fullscreen with audio.

It's a good way to learn but there is a bug where the sound stops working just after using the vibration function ! Good work developers! Also the adverts annoy inbetween a lot ! You lose the accuracy while practising !

It extremely helpful, making morse code easy to learn, I just wish that when I write something out in the translate section, that there is an indicator of which letter/word is being sounded/ Vibrated/ Flashed as I easily get lost on where the app is at.

Way too many ads. I'm getting them every minute or so. I read a (very rude btw) response to another review complaining about too many ads in which there it's steggested there are ads every 50 or so characters. I can go at well over 60 characters a minute so you really need to tone down the ads. Also @ the devs: stop being so rude to negative reviews, I know this app is your baby but you don't need to add to the toxicity online.

Bri. W. Dec 23, 2018

Almost a great app. It would only recognize a dit on input. Once I installed a lot of my other apps started crashing within 1 minute. I'm not sure if it was because of this app but I uninstalled. I will be checking for updates and will probably try it again.

Abh. S. Feb 6, 2019

i have other apps also in same category but this app is very nice and developer has thought for how to make learning process easy. one update for app can be, if we are learning words and if we commit any mistakes for some word that word should be showed frequently compare to words where i am successfully remembering.I will promote this app and send to my frnds as this has help me to learn faster.

Gav. D. Mar 16, 2020

The app in itself is great. A feature I suggest adding is an area where you can freely Morse instead of having to either translate or attempt to find in the trainer.

Cha. Nov 9, 2021

There are better apps out there for learning. This isn't an app that can teach you to send and receive, as you pick between two options for short and long presses.

Fra. J. D. L. C. Feb 21, 2022

It's simple to use and helps you memorice everything by practicing, it has multiple learning exercises to adapt to what might be the best learning experience for you

I learned from this app very quickly. I can read and write in Morse code. I'm slowly learning g to recognize sound. I love that you can slow the dots and lines to make it easier. I ended up buying the pro version, because hey...support an app that's good, right?
