Morse Code - Tutorial, Training, Tools

Great App! I'm very happy to contribute to the development cost. My only disappointment is, like others, I'm frustrated with the single "Tap" button on the bottom. Because of the quirks in touch screen sensitivity on phones, it has a tendency to not accurately measure "dots" from "dashes". May I make a suggestion? Could you provide the option of two buttons at the bottom, one for "dot" and one for "dash" (like an iambic keyer would have), without having the pressure on the buttons be time-sensitive? This would allow the user to easily and accurately enter the quiz data without being frustrated by their device limitations. Thank you again for your work and a great piece of software. I wish there were options other than sound clips. I want to use a flash or visual so I don't have to have sound on. From other reviews it seems like the sound clips aren't very good anyway. Also wish there was a better learning for each letter. I like the screen that shows all the letters and how to remember them, but wish it went one by one as you learned them. Also, hate the amount of ads.

Extremely good. In the tutorial, would be great if the sounds first played automatically (ie, without having to press the play button). Also, when I get to the end of the round and have dropped a point or 2, I don't know what mistake I made, so (better) feedback would be helpful. Lastly, when I have tapped a letter (correctly or incorrectly), it would be great to see an image/chart of how my effort compares to the ideal durations - this wud help me see if my dots are 2 short or my dashes 2 long.

I learned Morse code really fast. The letter diagrams are really helpful when trying to remember. The tutorial section is grouped in a way to enhance learning, which makes it easier to understand. The only problem I have is it crashes completely on occasion, and glitches frequently.

You have to watch ads in order to earn points so that you can complete each level. That's absurd! Seriously? When you're trying to practice & get it right so you go back to the same lesson, it requires points which means having to watch stupid ads instead of actually learning something. This is ludicrous. Don't waste your time. I installed it, started doing a lesson & then I'm made aware of having to watch the ads just to earn points in order to start a new lesson. Uninstalled it after 5 minutes

This is a great app for learning Morse code easy and quick ( I learde Morse code in one day with this app ) , only thing is that the button below is a bit annoying and I recommend like the others to make it have two buttons . Example one button for the "dot" and another button for the "dash" . And the adds are really annoying but other than that it's a good app I guess ☺️.

frustrating. seems like a solid teaching method, but it's very hard to get the long pulse to grade correctly, (with no guidance at to how what you did was wrong) worse yet, the audio snipits don't play right, (sounds like a solid , when it thinks it played 3 shorts (s)

The sound/tap synchronization is very bad. audio quality is bad. the sound is causing the speaker to pop. when learning a new code, you should give an audio sample so the new code can be learnt. simply giving dot dash to new learners and saying "tap" is brainless design.

One of the few apps that I've found that lets you pause between letters and words instead of giving you a space bar when transmitting Morse code. I looked through many apps to find one that had this feature.

fairly good app. some problems: 1) audio is not perfect (the third DOT comes too late). 2) i don't manage to unlock quiz Level 2 (i finished all the previous levels and quiz Level 1)

Really helpful app, the best one I've found. However, sometimes when I'm doing the writing questions and I try to type a dash it freezes and only lets me make dots. Very frustrating.

There is a big at level 2-5, the Morse code tone for w accepts k as a. Right answer, and vice versa. It's also hard to hear the first dash because it always sounds like a dot. Otherwise, very much educational. 5 🌟

Will randomly hold down the keyer despite being released. Randomly will progress the screen leaving you wondering what you missed. The only thing that isn't random is ads. The ads always seem to work.

Major flaw. When I lift my thumb to stop the dash, the program does not recognize it. The dash is way too long and very annoying and the program for reads it as a incorrect input.... Dyslexic approved. I am a severe dyslexic. I did not learn to read until I was 14 years old. Who knew that I would want to language Morse code.

It was so nice before the upgrade.... I love the old professional appearance, now it looks like a kids game, has lots of issues with sound timming and it even sporadically hangs on dashes....

Although a good app but after installing this app it conflicted with the WIFI setting of my mobile and I was not able to connect to WIFI available at my home. It took almost a week to understand that a faulty app can trigger this kind of situation, Please install carefully

Ads interfere way to much and the response of the button is to slow to practice morse code. Maybe it gets faster in the later lessons but the early dits and das are too slow, they feel like das and daaaas.

Utterly useless, the keys stick, it doesn't properly register what you're doing. Don't bother trying it.

Seems like a decent app but the audio files sound nothing like the actual CW code.. Should also make how fast they play variable. 15, 20, 25 WPS etc.

just amazing...the best ever app to learn the code..hardly took an hour to complete the tasks..just loved the easy illustrations..i wonder why this app has got few rating while it has the best features..good job developers!! (.. .-.. --- ...- . .. -)

Great app to learn morse code. Had always found it a frustrating exercise, but this app makes it quite easy.

I would prefer to pay a little than to have all those obnoxious ads, but that's not an option, therefore I will delete the app.it was fun, till the ads came.

Really like how it progresses but locks up while making the tone for 5 seconds. Have tried it on s8 and tab-a and both do it.

Great app! Only the sound is not too realistic. But it doesn't affect the learning at all. I think it's so far, the best cw android app.

Best in my opinion. Having the words divided into levels really helps with the learning process!!

Course is good, but app will often fail to recognize input and when playing a Morse code the initial sound always sounds like a dot.

The dash/dits are correct but the audio does not work for me. It makes it difficult to translate.

The reason I give it 1 star is because whenever I start a level it just skips the first question and says I got it wrong and also whenever I try to do a dash it doesnt recognize it and I need to hold for like 3 seconds.
