Excellent method of learning. Useful for 2nd stage beginners. (Those who can recognize individual letters). Gives much needed practice and helpful in identifying gaps between words. But I found it difficult to input letters, rather I find it easy to write on paper and check my answers. Solid app. I loved it.
App works well for the most part, the sound became a bit distorted around 25 wpm and above when I set it to use my phones keyboard. Also had an issue where the keyboard disappeared and when I changed to my own keyboard no input would be displayed. both those issues were resolved by reinstalling the app.
By far the best app for learning morse for serious students. I tested many apps and this is the only one I am using on a daily base. Many useful settings. Only wishes: a switch to switch off missed spaces to be counted as errors (but keep the spaces); added noise to the signal. Great work!!!
first functional Koch method app I've found so far!! will teach you letters and let you transcribe in app. I'm just starting and settings I recommend changing first are: turning on Farnsworth timing and setting that wpm lower, and using device keyboard instead of the app's really like it!
Seems to be ok would be nice to be able to hear characters before starting practice. Also would be good to mention that you are testing for spaces too. Took me a few time to realise that there was expectation for space to be noted. Will see if I can learn morse code with this app learning morse code is something that I have wanted to learn for more than 40 years. I have tried at various times with various methods but have a real hard time learning the code.
Fantastic app. Only one thing I would ask - please can you add haptic feedback as an option on the keyboard? Sometimes I'm not sure whether my finger missed the key, and by the time I look at the text to check, I've lost my place. Thanks!
this is a great tool for learning morse code! I like how it emphasizes the 3 most recent characters, but puts each character learned in at least 2 or 3 times to maintain.
Your search for the best CW Tutor ends here. I bought the PRO version to support the developer who is also very responsive to emails and requests. Even if you are not interested in Amateur Radio, some studies reveal that people who practice CW/Morse Code have lesser signs of dementia in old age. This is a must buy.
Just the app I was looking for to practice listening and decoding. All the other apps I've tried simply teaches us how to code or use morse code but only this allows me to learn how to decode by listening and it's very effective and sequenced (eg starting from K and M, etc.)
Finally, learning Morse code made realistic! Excellent application, supporting an excellent method. After years of trying and failing to learn Morse code, I am finally learning! Great app!
Hands down the best Morse code trainer I have used for working on learning the characters. Using it at 30wpm has really helped me "hear" the characters instead of translating the dits and dahs.
Very easy to use and you will gain confidence quickly. I especially like that I can customize the settings.
I've tried several apps and websites, in an effort to improve my Morse code, but Morse Mentor has worked much better for me than anything else. You should give it a try.
I have found it to be very useful while not only learning but also when I need to refresh my CW skills. I really recommend this app!

Doesn't install properly.
Thanks to Morse mentor.. It helped me reach 25wpm in a year.. I had to repeat every lesson and continued until I had 99 or 100%
