It's not a bad trainer but I do have issues with the recognition of my inputs. I'll go to tap out something and it refuses to enter anything and just says "Fail" and I'll fight it for a few seconds and then just wait. Then it'll be fine for a few minutes and acts back up. Note 9
This app is great for learning how to speak (tap?) morse code. It's not as great for learning how to recognize it. I wish there was a practice mode that didn't tell you what the word it was spelling was, it only presented audio, and you would type in the letters/words it played for you. It's hard to practice like that on my own because I already know what letters I'm tapping, so recognizing them is pointless.
Almost perfect app to train morse. The only thing is, in practice mode the transmit button is too close to the bottom, and when I morse text from a book without looking I quite often accidently close the app. I hope you get what I mean.
It has more potential than the best apps I have used in the past. Except, it is glitchy. It won't register when I do a code right, or on the first tap I've already failed.
I was enjoying it til it didn't recognize punctuations and now the app it's USELESS. What's the the point of it being called what it's called IF not going to have everything the operator needs to train for? I would RE-INSTALL if it had that feature and "Frequency Adjuster" too please.. thanks
It would be great if the delay between pressing the button and hearing the beep wasn't as long. I can't transmit anything with sound on because of this.
I just installed program and am impressed. I like that it has a word list to practice on. that helps to learn spacing between characters. Great for a free app.
its an okaay app, but how is it for authenticity? i think they need to add more words, words many use on a daily basis, and out in mini-games that help you drill the morse into your memory, the app neother has a positive or negative impact, it is very educational though.
If you want to learn Morse Code. I'd suggest you to use this app because it can help you in learning each alphabet in Morse code and some common words. You can adjust the speed according to your level. This app is great & helpful!
the transmit button is too close to the bottom of the screen. it frequently closes the app while you are practicing.
The fail message is redundant and unnessary. On practice mode, if I want to put a long pause for numbers, it immediately says fail.
Great app! Easy to use, great help. After about 2 months of continuos practice, I'm keying in code quickly. I wish it also included punctuations.
Needed to update my review. Although the app is still pretty good and still has the features I'm needing it is no longer recognising the input although this is correct. An update is needed to fix this.
Can't recognize anything above 10 wpm or so... If I try sending a 'c' at around 15 wpm or any other 4 tone character it just turns into an h... And the program does not recognize things like /()+!
Its incredibly easy to use and simple to learn, takes time and patience highly recommend this app to any learner.
Love the app! Is there a way in the 'letter mode' to advance to the next letter without going back to the entire alphabet area? I am enjoying learning Morse Code through the user-friendly app.
awesome. does the job perfectly! +it's free and ad free! Thank you developer!🙏
Its a verry good app to learn morse code but it can be improved . I would suggest adding vibration feedeback
Very unresponsive. Could not detect my taps.
app sometimes confuses dots with dashes. also very slow
Can't change background color that hurts my eyes. Thanks.
this worked so well for me. i learned about an hour! im now i am unistalling the app. thank you!
Best to use in a survival situation ( Not the app stupid ... The thing this app teaches you
very helpful wish it had an word id mod tho
Great app And user friendly
Worst app. Please don't download this.!!
Best, I have tried them all.
Very nice app. Learnt it nicely
Wasn't useful at all
Not bad and has potential. It would be better if the input used your normal keyboard instead of drawing its own, the app's keyboard doesn't give quick feedback. Also the long string of characters already typed isn't necessary. The feedback just needs be what you pressed, and the answer immediately if correct, or after 2 attempts if incorrect. The next big improvements would be to add a timer so you could consistently practice for a set number of minutes, then a record of your practices, settings included, so you could see how much you were progressing.
