Motion Detector Pro

Good motion detector! Very satisfied! Like the concept of being able to use the detector to send an alarm WITHOUT having to store an image. Like the sensitivity selections. I use around 25 to detect. Would be a 5 rating if following could be incorporated in next release: Shorter interval of detection/activation. Less than 5 seconds would be great. Ability to use own saved alarm sounds with an increased volume to "startle" the motion-making subject. Fixed 100 "full screen" sensing.

Atrocious, the pictures it takes are uploaded to the cloud by default and you don't know this until you need to review them, not only that but deleting them from their web interface is an absolute pain, if you have more than 100 you'll go insane way before you finish deleting them. And the cherry on top, the cloud connection where your photos are uploaded is NOT secure, literally, it uses the old http protocol. Stay away from this one folks.

So I have installed this and when I run it there is a message covering the whole screen. I have pressed the "X" to close it and it won't go away. I try to resize the red box area and it won't allow me to. The message tells me to plug the phone in. Maybe the message will then go away and I can do more. Just got fed up with this as the functions are not straight forward.

For those of you complaining that you can't remotely access.. think outside the box. I use this app on a spare phone connected to Wi-Fi.. and I remote access it with my own phone through TeamViewer. By doing this it is just the same as having a wireless remote camera that you can access anywhere in the world

It's exactly what it says it is it's a motion detector that works quite well many uses and it's very easy user-friendly and very useful if you need to watch something or keep an eye on something when you're away

Everytime I came back from work, I notice something different in the flat, sugar in the wrong cupboard etc.. but nothing stolen. I used this app and unfortunately, I was right! Previous tenant would come and chill at my place whilst I'm at work! I've learnt two lessons, 1) follow your gut feeling and make the effort to set up an app like this. 2) always ask your landlord to change the lock before you move in. Last but not least, I gave 4 stars because I wish it recorded videos rather than imag

The app needs to be on the whole time. Even if you set your display to rurn off it won't. The app does go 'dark' after a minute but your display backlight will be on. Anyone who touches your phone will have full access. Bad bad bad.

photos lack resolution for police use. Alarm sound too weak, too short. Delay on exit is fixed at 10 seconds. Leaves phone in unlocked mode. Anybody know how to lock screen with this on? No longer sending emails. Has lots of false alarms. Crashes after a detection sometimes.

Complete waist of space ... Don't waist your time it doesn't work .... It's a very simple process to set up & even put in my email address so it could "email me any pictures taken" and of course it didn't & we tested it 6 times. ... Complete junk

The alarm duration is too short. After detection, it takes long time to save the photo and come beck to normal mode. The idea is good but need more development.

Did is so good if you know how to use it and modify it so you phone does not close dis is the best app ever trust me and also the screen goes black to save power I guess but it still works even when its black does who hate it are now racest to black people hahaha get it I wish it can also record videos

It doesnt store the images on your phone. Instead it uploads to their server creating data charges if WiFi is not available. It only uploads images not video. Totally useless!

App works fine... but image upload/email relies on a third party service and it insists on uploading images even when im just trying to use it as a motion alarm. What a privacy nightmare. Do not trust

Couldn't get beyond set up screen. It read; "hold still. Do not press home or power buttons. 'Underneath' saying to hold still or won't work. Press camera to activate but no button displayed. No way forward!

App seems to work BUT there is no place to enter phone number so I cannot get SMS notifications. Apart from that it'd be good to receive a phone call instead of email or sms.

My phone goes to sleep in other words the phone goes black after 10 seconds and the app does not take pictures with a black screen. Why don't app owners reply to me. Does this take pictures even with a black screen on your phone ?

Works good. Wish you could take 15-30 sec video clips too. Sometimes a pic isn't good enough, depending on when it activated.

Like this app. Hard to use first but if you get how it work, it really do the job. Please if update make setting for sound alarm to make it longer or shorter. Thanks.

Nice app. An issue with sound, there is not any option to change the sound. Kindly provide this feature also...

it works!...(Samsung luna)... plus, I've had this for years on a different phone... very simple... very intuitive... low permissions... I feel confident in recommending it to others :^ )

I have used this app in the past and found it workes very well. I have download it again but i cant get it to send sms to another phone. Can someone shed some light on that for me please. Regards Ron.

No remote connection..I am not able to use this app to establish remote connection with it thru the internet..so what is the point of the app now? Its supposed to work as Alfred security cammera!

Nice doesn't record motion video. No SMS means it can only email you when motion is detected with a photo on that phone.

I would rate 5 stars if the photo resolution could be set to that supported by the camera. 2mp just isn't good enough.

Good app, very straightforward, but i wish there was an option to use both front and rear camera simultaneously.

Great app, I use it to catch a gas thief, the only issue I have is the screen turn red when triggered and should stay clear so as to continue to watch the target.
