Your Moto phone is even more responsive and personal. It adjusts automatically, like reading out texts while driving. It reacts to motion, like opening the camera with two quick twists. It responds to your voice. It notifies you at a glance, so that you can see important messages.
Moto 3.0 adjusts to both your places and activities. It learns your home and work locations, and you can save any place and it will act appropriately there. Tell your phone to keep quiet, vibrate or talk to you depending on where you are or what you’re doing.
e.g. you can save your local movie theater and choose it to automatically remain silent or vibrate while you are there.
When choosing to silence your phone, you can set exceptions such as when a favorite calls.

Moto X (2nd Gen.), DROID Turbo, Moto Maxx/Turbo, Moto X Pro and Moto E (2nd Gen.)
Moto X (1st Gen.) and DROID Ultra as part of the Lollipop 5.1 upgrade
The Moto G (1st and 2nd Gen) and Moto E (1st Gen.) currently continue to use the standalone Motorola Assist application.

There are so many things that makes it hard to recommend Motorola... My main feedback is that it seems optimized to make it difficult to control by the user, which seems deliberate and may serve this vendor's ability to gather and share your personal information. There is no way to clear all the app's caches at once, which is a feature available on my previous Android phone.
Peek display should have more customisation, one of which should be to set a sensitivity of which to be activated. Another one would be to set a time off, like during the night should not activate.
The characteristics are not well presented to costumers. There are no difference between old and new stuff, this make confuse all the content. After activating some display-gesture their does not work properly.
Seems like they're trying to hard to make their software "the best" it just makes the phone run slower but they're not the only ones to blame android 11 is filled with bloatware too overall just stop trying to introduce high tech features on my $400 smart phone and just focus on making it less buggy/slow if u can do that I'll fix my 2 star review PS.an example of a feature being buggy is face recognition unlock it barely works half of the time| great job on ur phones battery life it's impressive
Why does the lock screen button not get rid of the game time icon like it used to? If you want to allow people to focus on gaming when they want, then return it to normal. This update messed it up. Having that icon still longer there even after locking the screen is still distracting, which takes away from fully enjoying gaming experience.
No matter what you do, you can't stop MOTO actions! Everything is unchecked but they still run, with notifications on the lock screen. Plus if you save a link to your home screen, the phone starts generating duplicate app icons.
On my Moto G7, Peek Display works intermittently about 10% of the time. Really frustrating. Have enabled/disabled this "feature" ad nauseam. Supposedly there was an update to fix this, but my phone didn't get it & according to Google Play the app is up to date. Have been with Motorola for many years, but now I'm regretting my brand loyalty.
Overall apps is optimised a little bit. but, in style colour needs to be more sharper. Blue and Black are the most attractive colours I don't know why they are not adding to theme. Also the theme colour appears not attractive.
Everything is good. But please make 'screenshot editor' function in horizontal mode also. Currently it works only in vertical mode. Also one more suggestion, please allow more customisations( colour and size of clock and date) in 'Moto display'.
I just did the newest update and I have no apps running and suddenly within 4 hours my phone is at 32% after it's at 100% right after having this update. I need my phone for my place of work and I cannot be having to charge it throughout the day and there was nothing wrong with the battery before this update
This is my first time updating the Moto wallpapers,alert sounds and look good visually on Wednesday, February 23rd, 2022. I'm writing a Review to tell others what you think before Installing it and get Updates from the Google Play Store and get it up-to-date rather than getting it crashed, stopped working or not responding. If that happens, I'll have to Call 611 from US Cellular to explain what happened so it can get fixed right away. I'll have to go to the Settings and clear Cache and Storage.
Never again will I buy a Moto! I'm having issues with the Phone App not responding at times and Text Message App, it takes up to a day to get a text message. I was told I had too much on my phone so I uninstalled Apps I no longer used and did a overall clean up on my phone , but it did not help. WTH!!!
Flip to DND all of a sudden stopped working. Pretty much the only thing I used. After further review seems like it's working but the vibration option does not work which is minor really in my opinion.
Blah The phone personalization is blah. I can't change the background of the sms only the keyboard can change. I love the color for the keyboard but what about the rest? What about the phone menus? I have to download other apps to personalize my ph. Booooo. I think I'll go back to LG. Their LG store is great
This comes installed in just the Motorola devices this stays in the phone do not uninstall it it makes the phone work with the other access inside installed into your device. It doesn't take up any space it doesn't take up any data it just does make the phone work as it should
The election of color don't work properly. I choose blue and still show all pink. The style looks better but I would like to see the color I choosed
Pretty confusing and useless. An intuitive menu for a very small number of moto-specific features and how to use them. Unfortunately, most are locked down preventing any solid customization, these features are more a nuisance I worry I paid extra for. Shout-out to the coloringbook shortcut I keep seeing in the help docs, but does not exist on the phone. Nothing intuitive. Nothing unique. Used to love moto for their innovation. Guess they gave up
Gesture navigation could do with more customisation options. Instead of using the whole side of the screen to navigate backwards I would prefer just the bottom one quarter of the screen would activate the back function. I find it frustrating to use as it is, because I'm activating the back function accidentally when browsing, even when it's at its slimmest setting.
With the latest update, the charging notification on the lock screen when the phone is idle is gone. It was a nice feature, bring it back.
Great phone. Long battery life. Good size screen. Many, many features. Best price for what it provides. Unlocked to use with most service providers.
I have very good reason to believe this app may be a fictitious and counterfeit misrepresentation of the real thing. It showed up on my phone unexpectedly one day last week and now my phone is just about all but destroyed. Warning to all.
Love some features. Despise Moto voice. Hard to believe at the time of this writing, there have been no changes published to this app in the past 9 months. What I don't like about moto voice is it can't tell when I'm in the car and need it. Or when I'm just walking around at the house. Or even moving my phone around on a restaurant table. The last interruption of normal conversation with friends was so annoying I have turned it off forever or until I see fixes made. More, but ran out of letters.
The Night Display feature used to have an option to automatically activate and deactivate at sunrise and sunset, which was very handy. Now there's an option where the app wants to "learn my sleep pattern". Ok, someone might like it... but some of us prefer the sunrise/sunset thing. Why couldn't we have both options?
Like the features and all but the little blue dot icon won't go away. I click "see how it works" and nothing happens....at all. Not even an error message to send feedback. It disappears after that until I click on something else. Click, tap... Either way. Would be nice if that bug got fixed. Note I did try factory reseting phone with no sign of it working.
Please bring back "Double tap wake or lock" There should be option for peek display. It's so distracting. Little movement near phone and display awakes. If we turn off peek display there is no way other than power button to unlock the phone. It's my humble request to you that please bring back "Double tap to wake and lock". It's so useful feature.
