Moto Email

Doesnt show pictures in email with the most recent phone update. I just downloaded the most recent update on my Z3. After allowing the permissions within the email, it still doesnt load the images. There are certain links within certain emails too that I cannot follow. This app used to work great on my older Z phones, but has been garbage with the Z3, which is the smae for phones the itself. Going to use a different app.

7/27-Working perfectly until the recent Motorola system update😠 Now it doesn't show pictures, links, etc. For someone who uses email for business this is detrimental, until it's updated or fixed will switch apps. UPDATE 10/26-Is someone trying to tank this app? Now have to click on emails multiple times to open, still doesn't load pictures & links even when I repeatedly update settings, emails sporadically disappear, junk mail in inbox, and for the last 36 hours it refuses to receive new mail!

Horrible email app!! I have tried to setup my email through the app, but it keeps saying "incorrect username or password" when I try to set it up. This is not true because I can log in just fine on my internet browser. Would appreciate a response from Motorola on how to get support to fix this!!

Have used this app for years on several Motorola phones primarily because the app was pre-installed. Worked great on my most recent phone, a Moto z3, until I uploaded the April system update when most of the images in the emails I received no longer showed. Instead got a blue square. Sent an email to Motorola about the problem. They haven't done anything to fix the problem and don't seem interested in doing so. Haven't updated the app since May 2015. So I am moving onto another email app.

Since updating to the Android 9 Pie software on my Moto Z3, I no longer have the option of selecting a sound notification. It automatically is defaulted to my notification sound. I only have the option to turn off notifications. I want to be notified that I have an email but I don't want the sound.

Suddenly stopped working. Says that username or password is incorrect when neither is! Can't access the mail. Loaded a different app for email. Meanwhile, an annoying message appears constantly on my phone "Couldn't sign in". I do not recommend this app. Wish I could uninstall it!

has worked well over the years, but recently it takes multiple tries to open an email, on first click it opens a blue screen and the spinning wheel, but email never open. If you click back and click on email again then it opens. I cannot seem to find a fix. itsvery aggravating.

Like so many others, worked great for so many years and 3 different Androids I had. Now, one of my accounts can't synch and I can't access the server. It tells me to go to my server administrator lol. That's me, with a hammer, to fix it like the Soviets. Hit with hammer til it works. Time to move on I guess. Also as mentioned, last update Oct. 2015 for the app. Sad.

After years of everything working just fine, just out of now where, it stops working. It will not let me sign in, saying my password or username was incorrect. I have searched how to fix the problem, and nothing is working. This app is trash. I'm just going to disable it.

Has worked great for several years and multiple moto phones. Suddenly stopped working today. Keeps alarming can't sign in. When I check my login, it says wrong ID or Pass. Both I know are correct and worked just fine going through the web browser. Fix this this!

Worked great until work started using MFA. I preferred keeping my work account on this app and using the Outlook app for my personal account. Now it is useless, won't sync, won't let me change accounts associated with it, won't let me disable.

This app conflicts with Google and Gmail's security. I keep getting security alerts everytime it tries to access and log into my account. Moto will not allow this app to be uninstalled either. Moto has not updated since 2016. It's almost the end of 2018.

I like this app for what it does. I do have one problem and that is when I'm in an email and I select the options triple dot in the upper right hand corner the only option is to print. I would like to see one option there to block and one to save as well as one to print. Search would also be nice.

I have recently changed my password on my POP account. Now I cannot edit my login information and the app is not connecting with my new password. It is only in the app, anywhere else, I login fine. It seems this is a common issue all of a sudden. Can we get some support?

Since the Motorola update the email app stopped functioning. Basic items as pictures & links are either no longer visible or one must continuously remind settings to show them: won't automatically default.

It has worked great over the last 4 years and all of a sudden the other day it says it can't login to my Yahoo account. It keeps coming up user name and password are incorrect. I can go to Yahoo and login just fine. I have not recently changed anything about my phone or app.

Didn't need it but you force it on me. I like to decide what is installed on the phone"I" paid for. How dare you force this on my phone?! I e been wondering why my phone had been freezing, blacked out screens, calls not clear anymore. I'm ready to go back to Samsung if you don't cut it out!

I changed my password for Yahoo mail on my desktop and the app won't sign in on my Android phone. I get an incessant notification that says "Couldn't sign in." No duh!! The new password does not work in the app. There is NO OBVIOUS WAY TO LOG OUT!!!!!!!!! I am frustrated!!

I have used this email app for years without an issue but after the recent Android Update, half of the emails will not display pictures even after clicking the link. Will this be rectified?

Email was working great. But now, outgoing emails are getting stuck in the Outbox. Program won't let me send or forward.

Have had this email since I've had phone...4 years. I've preferred it over my Yahoo email. But yesterday it stopped working. Says it can't SIGN IN now, and there is No Way for me to fix anything. My info is correct.... just stopped working. 🤬

Don't need it, prefer seperate accounts in case one is hacked. Anyway prefer to manage my own accounts. Wish could be uninstalled. Feeling violated with unwanted apps for buying a certain brand of phone.

Emails gone. All of a sudden my Hotmail account is gone I never signed up for Moto mail. I'm really fed up with Google even the Gmail accounts are terrible. Definitely cancel this I never signed up for it in the first place.

I have had the email app, attached to my aol email, for years with no problem. Just became aware that it is now called moto email. today i changed my password for my aol email account online and now I can't get into my email in my phone. When I'm prompted to change sign in info, i put in the new password and get a message that the user name or password is incorrect and a notification "could not sign in. ironically i can still login online. how can I get my cell phone aol email back?

I don't get why this app is not an app that is able to be uninstalled... Im not very happy with it as I get all my emails twice in a row... Also I would give it a zero but couldn't pay it without a number...

Email just stops. Email app worked fine and then all of a sudden when you press to open an email it just stops and closes

Worked great for years. Now it can not retrieve my email. Settings are OK. Same as my other devices that work just fine.

Latest update has an issue with opening, it just sit there with a revolving circle? Multiple emails to the developer and no response! App is unusable!
