Moto Mods Projector

It was working fine on my Moto Z4 now it just displays a background screen with settings icon and time/date. No matter what I try to project it doesn't put anything on the screen..it stays in that default time/settings icon mode. I've reset my phone completely and still same result. I tried my projector on another recently set Moto Z4 and it works great. Both phones are running same firmware/Android release and are fully updated. It has to be a bug in the projector software? Please find the fix!

Works fine except that it bugs sometimes; Moto Z3 Play drops frames as soon as I remove the projector, and only a reboot fixes it. Pressing the projector's button doesn't pop up the brightness and keystone controls - good thing it's automatic although brightness isn't. This app hasn't been updated since 2016, which is odd considering the Moto Z4 was out last year and I'd think it uses the same app, just compiled for Android 10. Not a huge disappointment but neither absolute satisfaction.

Fantastic mod and phone! Only issue this far us pairing the projector and ohone when MS Launcher is running. Hopefully this is fixed very soon. Love this product! I bought a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard (they work flawlessly with the phone) and can use the projector to display! Many folks have been wow'd by my presentations. Its a great product

I found a way to bypass that stupid splash screen feature (which only appeared in recent updates) you can force stop and uninstall moto mods manager .. then that splash screen won't appear. But if your phone ever dies or you shut it off/restart, you'll have to download moto mods manager again to get the projector to work . I enjoyed using the projector paired with a keyboard remote ( like used with android boxes) , but since that splash screen I cannot navigate my home screen. PLEASE FIX THIS

Great. Simply the best Moto Mod. With only one downside: sometimes it has trouble projecting darker colors, and instead they look a bit blue-ish. However, it is not that noticeable, and still a great Mod, almost perfect.

I don't know how I went this long without Moto. Projector says it only lasts 45 min so not a whole movie but it works way longer than advertised which is rair these days. The JBL speaker lasted 3 charges over the phone itself. I've purchased 2 projectors this year and waisted my money this one is comparable to my brookstone projector as far as color. Best purchase of the year.

I use it for movie night quite a bit. And it just amazes people every time. the only problem is that its to dark to see most movies problem with brightness. The projector speaks for itself it is awsome.

I just bought a new Z3. Projector wont work with it. My projector mod works on my old Z2 but not on the new Z3, not even in safe mode. I also have a JBL2 which works on both my Z2 and Z3. I dont find any settings I need to adjust on the Z3 for the projector to work? Or is it not compatable? Prob time for you to update this software from 2016.

Absolutely love it. The projector inspired me too build a Bluetooth speaker since the phone speaker is not up too the task. A nice Bluetooth speaker is a must with this wonderful, modern marvel. This is a great projector mod for this phone I am using Motorola Z2 force and you guys would be amazed to hear that I actually projected movie in Cinepolis movie theatre when the crowd left and it was the last day of the show the projector did a great job of projecting my phone's content and Asphalt 9 video game on the theatre's screen. that just blew the entire theatre stuff out of the water they were amazed to see that I carry our rocket in my pocket. Please keep the concept of mods living and produce the second generation of Motorola projector mod do also please create a good Moto Z4 phone which has the latest processor and if possible and in display fingerprint scanner I don't like the concept of fingerprint scanner on the side rather I love the concept of your one button navigation system and the shatterproof display please don't remove the shatterproof display that's an amazing quality if possible though, please try to install a tempered glass layer which is user changeable on the shatterproof display that will eradicate the problem of the display getting scratched very easily I love Moto Z2 force and moto mods please keep up the good work and do not let this z series line die

These controls are already built into the projector. You just press the power button while it's on and the controls pop up. You don't need to download this at all!

This mods biggest downfall is that it lags like crazy when you play a game. Don't buy one unless you only want to watch videos..

My button is broken on my attachment, I can use settings to turn it on but can't adjust brightness. Is there anything else I can do besides send it in

5 years no update? Color and brightness control is all kinds of screwed up making the controls wonky as hell. No point in asking for update, was abandoned by developer many years ago.

It was great when it worked but it suddenly won't project the screen except for the lock screen.

When you're power goes out and you want to share what you are watching on cable app with others in the house. A white wall and we all our watching cable channels from my phone.

No longer lets me change brightness or adjust keystone. What happened? This happened after I upgraded to Android 9.

Projector Mod, keeps shutting down and says reducing brightness to conserve battery but is turning off.

I have the projector and everyone is amazed when I project onto a big screen using only my smartphone! Amazing!

So frustrating. It's no longer working. Not worth the money spent. It was good while it lasted then all of sudden it went out

I thought I would use it but never did. Also had trouble focusing it for presentations.

It works great. But how often do you really need it. Maybe younger people might use it more at gathering

Works amazing worth every penny the olny hard part is when it's very bright outside I may have missed an option to help that but I live it regurdless

Love the mod but the only downside is the brightness is not that good is there a way to increase brightness on projector...some videos are dark

It was a great device until it suddenly stopped projecting and now all I get is a locked screen.

Barely used my lenovo z2 force projector now its freezing on start screen and when it did work barely at first before freezing it would refresh now i cant even get past the logo

Moto Z3 play with projector attached but no sign of a download link to this app and no sign of being able to change the projector brightness

it was great until it decided to stop working or connecting to any if our phones and gives off no light on battery
