Mototalk
MOTOTALK is a smartphone Push-To-Talk 2-way radio app that lets users communicate with individuals or a group via Push to Talk (PTT) wherever Wi-Fi®, 4G or 3G service is available. MOTOTALK communicates with any active iDEN PTT phone or with any carrier’s smartphone that has MOTOTALK activated.
IMPORTANT: A SouthernLINC Wireless account is required to activate MOTOTALK service. There is a monthly subscription fee for this service. Contact a SouthernLINC Wireless sales representative, authorized dealer or Customer Support at 1-800-406-0151 for pricing and account activation information.
Making and answering a MOTOTALK call is easy:
To make a call, just select a person or a talk group from your contacts list and press the on-screen PTT button to begin a call.
With MOTOTALK, you have the option of sending an Alert, turning off your phone’s speaker for a private conversation, or pressing your designated PTT button to begin a call.
MOTOTALK PTT features include:
- Unlimited individual PTT Calling and Unlimited Talk Group Calling
- Call Alert tone
- Cross Fleet functionality
- Ability to import PTT contacts from a phone’s directory
- HD (High Definition) Voice. Both users on a call need to be on the latest version of MOTOTALK to take advantage of HD voice.
- Make calls with MOTOTALK users
- Send voice notes
- Improved audio quality with low bandwidth usage
- Dynamic group calls up to 25 users
- Share your location with your friends
MOTOTALK Application Requirements:
- Must be loaded on an Android device
- You must have an active SouthernLINC Wireless line of service to establish a MOTOTALK account

How to sign up for this?
How can I even Sign Up for this app? This isn't making any sense, it asks Application Number and stuff, how can I work this thing?
Update caused the app to stop popping up on top of the already-open apps on my Samsung Galaxy Note5 and I have to manually find the mototalk app to open it to respond to the person calling me. Boss needs me to respond immediately and is getting frustrated with me!! Please fix!!
There was a login that I had no idea how to get passed
Need to finish the build for the galaxy s7. Our employees at work are having issues since upgrading phones. Have talked to our local push to talk company and they say the build is the holdup.

I loved the app I think it's great
This app does require an account with SouthernLinc Wireless to be able to use it. If you will read the description, you will see that it clearly states that you have to have an account with SouthernLinc Wireless to use this application. The new HD sound clarity is amazing. No issues with the app itself nor any lag.
I don't know how to use it I have a sliver 2 I need something to call people from app
I've had no issues
I'm running this in a 4G network area on a Note 3 with 3GB of RAM. This app needs some work. It is very sluggish and slow to respond.

Cant talk longer then 10 seconds or respond durring conversations. Also i get some really bad feed when calling others.
In your description, you should explain that not just anyone can use this; that you have to be a paying subscriber to another service with account info. Hilarious...
I like the app, but don't like you're newest upgrade, change it back, I liked it when you could just swipe the screen to get to your contacts. Fix it please.

You need a whole bunch of crap for it to work and app won't let you set it up. Waste of time
