Medieval Action RPG Strategy game Mount&Blade Warband is now available on the NVIDIA SHIELD and selected Tegra 4 devices. This is a fully featured port of the PC version. Gamepad required.

Great game until it starts crashing
I'm playing on a Nvidia shield and having a blast. Game runs perfect. Have never had any crashes. Its fun to pick up and slaughter a few bandits and help smaller villages. Its the feel of a knight, viking, great khan, samurai, ninja, thief, or just a person who f's poo up in the palm of your hand. 10/10 would play again.
The latest fix appears to have resolved the crashing issues - I can actually equip companions now. This is definitely the deepest and most engrossing Android-based nVidia Shield game I've played so far, and now I can fully enjoy it.
Very hard to get into. This game is extremely difficult, the beginning is absolutely frustrating, the mechanics are complicated and confusing, but once you recruit enough followers and start getting the ball rolling by winning battles, getting better equipment, etc. then this game shines. Ironic that this game is on a platform (Android) known for casual games. Mount and Blade Warband is everything but casual. Buy this only if you want a game that demands your time, patience, and is extremely difficult.
The game is super fun and totally worth the money. The controls are just fine. I love the combination of sandbox and RPG. The only issue is that when I try to name my character, the keyboard pops up, but when I try to type, it just selects the button behind the keyboard and closes the keyboard. Fix this and I will gladly rate this five stars.
The majority of the reportable crashes have been fixed, but there are still enough non-reportable crashes (flickering screen, controls locking up), that I essentially have to save before and after every battle to prevent losing data.
The game runs fine but the controls n the shield are impossible. Horse back might as well just roll over. This game isn't worth a penny. Even if free to play not worth the frustration. You've been warned its horrible gameplay.
I'm pretty much repeating the other's issues. I can't play the tutorial or create a character without the game crashing. The game itself looks like the best android game ever I just can't get into the meat of it so far. I will gladly change my rating to five stars when they fix the crashes. Amazing potential hurt by crashes.
Taleworlds, I have emailed you again and I have still no reply, but I really need this to be fixed as I have really looked forward to playing multiplayer but I have yet not had the chance, please reply to the email.
I love this game. Sunk hours (days!) into the PC version, was really excited for this one. Plays okay, but lots of crashes- plus sieges are so buggy, it's a game breaker. Nothing more frustrating than crashing during or after a battle. Menu controls aren't optimized for the gamepad- and touch controls are awkward. Hard to recommend in this state to anyone but the diehard Mount & Blade fans.
The latest update is much more stable than the previous versions. The game itself is fantastic.
The game is great but I can only type the letter w when the keyboard is needed, please help, I'm using shield portable.
Don't even try to play this online. It runs at maybe 15-20 fps and the lag and crashes are ridiculous! This is a great single player game. Very deep and very addicting but don't expect it to be up to par with the PC version as it lags like crazy in 60+ man fights. It also crashes a lot when you are in the character screen and it has a few bugs that force a reboot! Its a shame because it would easily be 5 stars without all the technical issues FIX THIS GAME!!!

It is a very good game, but it continuously crashes to the point where it's almost unplayable, and it flickers the screen sometimes not allowing epileptic son to be in the same room
Settings don't save (such as inverse y axis) and after a few hours of play it crashes every 20 minutes.
Go wherever and do whatever but you may die in the process.
Can't get army to climb ladders in sieges half the time.. They fall halfway through and walk on air. Lots of random crashes too plz fix!
I didn't think this could be possible putting PC games on the shield! Well worth the money.
Performance sometimes decreases which leads to crashing and needs minimap support (its too annoying to locate enemies at the beginning and the end of a battle)
Game runs fine, but I keep getting kicked when I try to join a server. I got this to play multiplayer, and I need this to be fixed. Need help.
On shield portable I can't enter my name on character creation screen, the virtual keyboard doesn't come up. Obviously this means I can't even start the game. Other people have had the same problem but the developer has ignored all comments regarding this problem. DO NOT BUY ON SHIELD PORTABLE
