Mountainside Fitness
In 1991, I began Mountainside Fitness (then named Mountainside Gym) while a junior at Arizona State University. Together with my family and friends, I brought my dream to life. From welding gym equipment to painting walls to selling memberships, the early years were true sweat equity in every sense of the word. With 300 pre-sold memberships, we opened our doors. It was a small 4,800 sq. ft. fitness center in Mountainside Plaza located in Ahwatukee. Our signature was free towel service to everyone. However, this would have been a lot easier if I could have afforded a washer and dryer at the gym, but I made it work. It was worth it to be building a business and community I believed in. To show my appreciation to my members, I would throw monthly get-togethers at the club where we bonded over pizza, beer and soda. Thus, the Mountainside Fitness family was born.
I founded Mountainside Fitness on community, and this continues to be at our core as we grow into 18 locations and over 90,000 Members this year. As the leading fitness destination in Phoenix, we strive to provide our Members value through high-quality group fitness classes at every location, engaging childcare you can trust, state-of-the-art equipment, clean facilities, and of course, towel service. We're here to support you in your fitness journey. Because that's the Mountainside Way.

Cannot open the virtual workouts group fitness on demand or archives using the vimeo link. Message says unknown URL. I can start the recording but it is a small screen with no icon to make it full screen. I have a Samsung Android phone. I also cannot go thru Chromecast to add the app to our new Samsung smart TV. Message says app is not compatible with device. I am think this is an iphone apple app and not android. I have called MSF for assistance but they cannot help me. Not happy.
This is a great App. You need to sign in and creat an account. Call your club if you need help. It's so easy to sign up for classes and pick your spot. I've been going to Mountainside for 9 years. Great instruction and personal training.
Read the contract carefully before signing. They charge 25$ extra for simply signing the contract and I took general per month is 42$. Very expensive gym. I heard there are many gyms around of range between 10-30s. I joined few months ago now I cancelled the membership for next month and forever.
So far I've had the same log in issue with this app that I had with the previous one. The app is trash; either keep your barcode tag or just sign in at the desk.... I'd almost consider giving up my membership because this app is that bad!

This is a great app which helps me easily check in to the club and make bookings. The user experience is great without taking too much time to get around the menu's.
Constantly get "Error at server" and blank screens. I cannot reserve a spot in any classes. I have closed and opend it 5 times, uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times and it will not work.
Cant even setup barcode because birth date entry in app is bugged.
Seriously, this app is the worst app I have ever used. I ended up at the gym to get it straightened out. It was working when I left the gym and now 5 hours later I get the dreaded Error at the server, try back later. Are you kidding me. This app sucks!!!!!!! Jack Berwind
Is there a way to rate this negatively? Can't log on Doesn't recognize email address. Can't get into the app even after uninstalling several times. Oh yea, wife has the same issues and we signed up 2 plus months ago.
I cant figure out how to check class schedules at multiple clubs unless I constantly change my home club. I visit 4 clubs a week based on classes. At least previous app I could easily change location. HELP

This update is worse, I can't even view my check ins. The last app was better then this one by far! The only way to view your check-ins is through your club account through and iframe is this 2000? Talk about going backwards
I can't get any where through this app. There's no "live" workouts for me to go back to as it claims and logging in for an at home workout is the same exact information that's public knowledge....
Awful. And pointless. I can't even see my check ins. I used the older app as long as I could but now it's been disabled. This app is horrible, looks awful and I have no use for it. Sorry for the negativity but that's how I feel about the app. Alfonso from the Surprise Gym
No help with app, how does a person input themselves if it's a family membership. 4 people on the membership. It does not tell me how to add individuals.
This app is awful! The original app is so much better. I'm super tech savvy and I can't maneuver through this mess of an app.
Junk! Can't log in even after creating an account and receiving a code. Used the code then you can't log in , it says invalid user!
This gym is very clean and the employees are very nice and helpful. I would recommend joining. They have lots of glasses and equipment.
Why even create an app that doesn't work? Cant log on. It does not recognize my log on info.

This app keeps changing. Now it seems that it no longer shows the log of my visits.
Several attempts to register failed. Due to new rules to schedule an appointment with app, I am unable to.
inly search by location.. needs functional overhaul. must rework for users to search by day/time and by class type
The download ability of this app is just as shity as the app. Been trying for 2 hours to download the app still can't download it

This app is subpar. Half the links don't work. Limited account information.
Has a food consumption and fitness tracker, can also use this instead of your card to get in.
Barely works. And none of the features work all the time.
I have been getting invalid server response error as the last few days, other than that it's a Pretty good app all in all, it would be nice to be able to search across clubs for a specific instructor or class
