MouSenseAccessibility

MouSenseAccessibility is a hand-free application software for Android tablets and smartphones
- one can control the cursor on the screen by head movements.
The headmouse (head tracker) MouSense is a free software. It makes the usage and control of computer possible primarily for people with disabilities, who cannot use their limbs properly.

Mousense for Android is built up from two compoenents: MouSenseAccessibility and MouSenseDasher.MouSenseAccessibility is an accessibility application for simulating simple touch interaction with your head movements, while MouSenseDasher is a complementary software input which makes text input through MouSense for Android possible. MouSenseDasher is a modified version of the Dasher text input solution ( http://www.inference.phy.cam.ac.uk/dasher/ ).

IMPORTANT: you might not be able to use other software keyboards with MouSense, for example the one that came with your devices.

Attension: You need to use the touch screen for enabling the application components. Once its done, you are ready to control your device with MouSense.

Hardware requirements:
- Android smartphone or tablet
- Min VGA front camera
- Min 3,5 inch screen for a comfortable use

Software requirements:
- 4.1.x Jelly Bean or newer Android.

Tested already on the following devices:
- Asus Transformer Pad TF300T
- Asus Nexus 7
- can not install from playstore because of configuration issues.
- Samsung Galaxy Nexus

The Neural Information Processing Group of Eötvös University, Budapest, Hungary (NIPG) is developing hand-free computer applications for ten years already.

The product developer and distributor, Colleyeder Ltd. has been created to apply the research results of the Neural Information Processing Group at ELTE in real world applications.

seems to be set as default input tool. slows my phone, then crashes. looking forward to test the next version.
