BATTERY USE With Moves, our goal was to create an app that will keep your phone running fine if you charge it nightly. In tests with Moves and other typical phone use, we’ve reached that goal, but your results may vary, as there are many variables that affect battery consumption. We’re continuously working on minimizing battery consumption even further.

SAMSUNG NOTE II INCOMPATIBILITYUnfortunately, Samsung Note II cannot run its accelerometer sensor in the background. We have tried different solutions, but we have not found a satisfactory way to support the device. We would really like to support Note II and try to find a way in the future.

As of July 31, 2018 this app was discontinued. Shame since it was simple, worked fairly well & I liked it. Now, you can't log in and it's stopped working all together. This app should be deleted from the store if the developer has abandoned it so no one else will download it.

This is the worst step counter I've ever used. It started well or at least I thought. What it does is count one leg as you Walk and it changes the count every time you check your progress, I checked my count as soon as I got into my car is checked and the number was OK, 15 minutes later I checked it again so I knew what number I would be starting at only to find that the number was lessened by hundreds of steps, I was driving to my next destination. I would not recommend this app to a corpse

Since android calorie update the step count is terrible. At best 50% of competing apps. What is worse is that steps seem to be counted and then "corrected" off. When approached developer showed interest in fixing the problem but then lost interest and now ignores any messages. Sad part is the healthier providers who trust the counts from this app.

Worst steps counter thats there on PlayStore. Don't understand how does it hv over 5million downloads and overall positive review. Walked 2hours continuously with GPS on and it counted only 126 steps. Resets ur step counts automatically every now n then. No way to reach the developers and ask for any support. Uninstalling immediately. Android 7

I like that it tells me the amount of time I spent doing something. However, it's buggy still. I am not able to relabel places, like work and home. I entered the name of the business, but it still says "unknown place". Also, it crashes when I try to look at my timeline a few days ago. I would love it if this app worked right.

As with a few other reviews, step count doesn't accurately count the number of steps taken. I have an app native to my Samsung Galaxy and it has always had significantly more steps counted. I've looked at the Moves count, came back later to the same count or even less. Also the continuous prompting for my GPS to be turned on is very annoying. I just want my steps tracked.

I used this for the first time today. I went for a two hour bike ride in the forest. It told me I was driving for 35mins, walking for 30mons and the rest on my bike - total ride distance 3.8km. As someone else said, how is a major company like 'Vitality' collaborating with a tin pot set up like this one. Disappointed.

Absolutely rubbish. I have had this app since April and everyday it manages to only record a fraction of my steps and cycling activities. I always manage over 12500 steps 5 days a week but this app seems to think I do between 1000-3000 and I think I have only been awarded 3 times via vitality with points for cycling when I cycle 4 times a week. Definitely working together so vitality don't have to award points to members. Needs to be massively updated

I was a beta tester for Moves and I thought it was pretty good. When Fit came out, I ran both concurrently, then I switched altogether because I felt Fit had gotten to the point where it was good enough. I recently upgraded to the Pixel and I've found that, for whatever reason, Fit is no longer the better choice for me. I walk quickly, and oftentimes Fit registers my walk as a run. One thing I would change about Moves would be to allow users to hide the grey instruction area at the bottom of the screen

Forced to use this app as it's the only android tracker for vitality Health. Doesn't record steps if phone is in my bag, told me I'd done 48 steps after a day of rushing between meetings. Also it can not be used with Samsung health and can not receive data from fitness syncer or similar sync services so no credit with vitality for exercise recorded on my s2 gear.

Worst ever app I could download. My health insurance has chosen this app as an activity measure. I am running Parkrun every Saturday. I run 2k to start point and the official run is 5K at the it shows 3.8k instead of 7K, simply because it assumes straight line moves as people run over grass, lake and flowerbeds. Silly design

Had to download for vitality life but this app is rubbish. It's more interested in capturing details other than needed. Steps counter keeps resetting even when you are walking. Samsung health captures much accurate data and the difference between the two is unbelievable Samsung 15k steps and moves could only count up to 100. Wow these guys seriously need to hire good developers.

The move count is wrong. Please fix. I think this is a scam for vitality users who are using only android app. I am paying alot for my insurance but this is what you have for me, a piece of worthless slow counting bugged app. I think you should give me back some of points in my vitality because I am losing loads of moves.

This app goes down on its when it's actually needed. Some serious issues with GPS signals for sure. Whenever GPS is turned off/signal lost it reverse the current day data and start counting again from again. Reverse counting feature is unique. Almost 20k steps turns 0 in matter of few minutes. Developer needs to work alot on this. Useless.

My moves on my new Oppo R9 is not being recorded at all well, I went from having my 10000 steps a day being recorded dropping down to less than 700 steps. I also could not find a way to lodge a request for support. Disappointing. I've years of data and now this is not being sustained.

Change of review, it was my mistake. Not sure what the calorie count on left is but if you touch steps on right it shows calories used and appears to be about right. It says that after walking 1475 steps that I have burnt 1400 calories, oh how I wish that were true. Needs some serious attention to rectify this, think I will just use as step counter for now......

As a Vitality insurance user I would not recommend this app: it's not that it is bad, features are just not working on modern phones. I have to manually change journey type to cycling every day, and get message on time line that Moves off certain time. Google Fit integration wouldn't go amiss as well and would probably be more accurate than this app. Facebook bought this Finish company in 2014. To email check the bottom of the Play Store to email devs.

I downloaded this app for a challenge that our company is doing. It worked the way it was suppose to for the first two weeks. Then for the last three days it has been giving me problems. The counter goes up to around 5700 steps. Then when my screen shuts off or I go into another app. It resets itself to around 5700 steps again. Regardless of how many steps I have taken after that. I have walked touching my screen to keep it on until I meet the challenge for the day. Only to lose the count I have completed.
