Movie Collection + Inventory

Loved the free version, but unable to add pics of my films, so paid for full version. Spent one night putting in a small percentage of my collection and saving then with photos happily. Shut it down and restarted and all pics there. Happy. Logged in today to show a pal and all my photos disappeared. Very annoyed. They aren't deleted from my phone either so it can't be due to me deleting them from the handset. Feels a waste of money for a broken feature. Not adding more. May delete if not fixed.

All seems to be alright until you find out the movie database hasn't been updated in a long while and rarely finds box sets. That wouldn't be a huge problem, I don't mind adding few synopsis and photos myself, but then I found out that the photos I add from the phone are not shown in the library. I have to tap in each movie subdirectory to see the dvd image I added. Please do something about it. Thank you Update: 4/2/2020 Today I tried scanning oyher DVD's and the movie database doesnt connect.

Awesome app! I keep my DVDs in big folders, and out of sight means out of mind. This app makes it easier for me to browse my movie collection at home, and also while out and about so I don't buy duplicates! I wish the app was a tiny bit more customizable, and I wish there was a dedicated field for a release year. The look of the app is a little rough, but it doesn't affect functionality, so it's no big deal. I love it so much, I downloaded the video game version too.

Very good program, Simple setup but still has quite a bit of the customization that more advanced catalog programs have. I might suggest that the program should allow the use of custom DVD art and a Gallery mode for viewing the movie list. I would also add a few other suggestions... 1) Allow us to change the size of the font 2) Allow us to change the icon style, sizes and types of media entries, IE DVD, DVD/Blu-ray, etc. 3) Let us create our own watched checklist criteria entry.

My entire collection of 1000s of movies that I took care to cultivate has been wiped. Also, I have tried every conceivable name and email combination I can remember and cannot update from the server. I am so pissed. I spent hours scanning and updating them when their data was wrong.

This app is FANTASTIC! I waited until I crossed 3 years and over 1,000 movies to date it. Never had a problem. Has saved me $$$$ in buying duplicate movies. If the movie in that format is already in your library it will say "Not Added. Already in collection." If you want a duplicate go ahead and buy then add to notes. Thank you for a Great product. Update: At 1,400 movies and going strong. Incredible app.

As part of the next update would be add the formats of PS4, XBox 360, XBox 1 and Wii disks as well as game ratings i.e. T(een), M(ature) E(veryone) ect. Then I can just move my remaining disks to your app and delete the other one I'm using as well. Great app I LOVE this one I finally WON'T buy duplicates and I can put them in alphabetical order on our shelves so they are easier to find !!!

This is the FOURTH time I have written you. I purchased the upgrade to the paid version of MOVIE COLLECTION + INVENTORY. No upgrade ever occurred. I am out the purchase price for the upgrade, and NEVER received any upgrade. I still have the free version. Please tell me how you can fix this problem. Mike Mulholland

I've used this app for a number of years. It's stable and updates keep coming to make it better. I love the ease of scanning the movie's barcode as soon as I get it and BOOM! it's in my database. Being able to transfer from phone to phone via the cloud is awesome when I upgrade. Please support this app and its devs!

So far its been a crappy experience. I bought the app because my Dad was using it for his movie inventory. But I can't scan any movie barcodes because i have to download one, but it doesnt take you to any barcode scanner apps. i think its time to update and give a new list of barcode scanners. fix soon and youll get a better review. i just kinda feel cheated that i spent money and cant use it to its full potential

I payed for the app. I have to go in and manually add that it is a DVD, how long the movie is, what's a genre is, and what it is rated. Takes a long time to have to had add all of that. I do like that you can scan barcodes, however I had to download a barcode scanner for it to work. Most picture covers do not show on main screen. I have not tried to import list to Excel yet... Feel like I had to pay too much for as little that it offers.

I have over 700 movies in my collection. The app was working great until I went back and saw that all of the movies I took a pic of the cover that pic is now gone. Also it will not let me export to my email. I will raise the rating when this issue is fixed.

Like it for the most part but annoying that I bought the paid version and it still is "unavailable" at times when I want to scan movies. Paid app should not have down times. Sorry I didn't just stick with the free version. Not worth the money.

Been looking all night for a simple app like this. I have a very large physical copy movie collection, and I love that this let's me make a inventory with pictures, stats, and movie descriptions. I also only need to search for the movie via internet and it auto fills in info. Makes it very easy to see my entire inventory.

I really liked the free version of this app, but you can only add 40 movies for free, so I paid $3.99 for the upgrade. Seriously disappointed. The paid app is nothing like the free version. It is amateurish and a waste of time and money. I would have given the app zero stars if I would have been able to. I have contacted the developer and will change my review if/when updates are made. Don't waste your time or money.

I really love the app. I just wish that the free version and the paid version would sync so that if you add something to the free version, it'd automatically go into the paid. I'd also like a way to print out all of the titles if possible.

I like the App it is user friendly. I would like to see a way to make images larger in the description. I've put images the same size in and some show up larger and some show up smaller.

very good and easy to use, not sure why some of the barcode results havent been left, but with the paid version, you can add your own picture ..... well worth downloading, even for the free version

Got the free version. Entered 33 movies successfully, but when I backed them up to server and bought the full version, I couldn't restore from server to new version of app. 😡 had to start all over! Using GalaxyS10+

(See update below) Have used this app for years but most recent update 2.01 has ruined it for me. 5 stars before update, 1 star after update. I don't need blank stars taking up 1/3 of my screen width for notes. And the added width of individual rows might make it easier to read each individual title. But when you are trying to scroll through almost 3000 entries it becomes almost unmanagable with half as many titles shown on each screen. Need to make some of this customizable in settings so we can skip the star ratings at a minimum. How many people really need to see their rating on every title prominantly displayed on the main list. Also a suggestion for future updates: since UV is going away on July 31st, replace it with a Movies Anywhere (MA) option and logo. UPDATE: Much improved after 2.04, now even more room for comments on main list. Even though I don't use them, the star ratings between the title and comments looks very nice. And even though it means more scrolling, larger icons and layout improves readability. Back up to 5 star

I've had this app for almost 3 years and just went to look up a movie and it says I have no movies. I had over 700 movies in my account but now says i have nothing. Very irritating as i paid for the upgrade.

I have loved this app for years. However I recently received a message that it may not work on Android updated phones. Is there a new updated app that I can transfer my collection to so that I can continue to use it and not loose my data if the app becomes obsolete? I have over 600 movies. Would hate to have to choose another app with a diff developer and have to scan my whole collection to another one since I already enjoy this one so much.
