This application is not visible in the application overview of Android.
This main application 'Movie Collection' helps you to collect and manage all your movies. You can add movies to the local database and load detailed informations and posters from themoviedb.org.
The following features are available in the main application:
• detailed informations to motion pictures like movie description, actors, cover, runtime, director ...
• detailed informations to TV shows with season and episode support (You must create a new list of type "TV shows" in list manager to be able to add TV shows.)
• watch trailers in the YouTube app.
• adding of movies/tv shows and search by title / keyword
• search a movie by scanning the barcode (fast in app barcode scanner. No other application necessary).
• add your own/private movies with self written descriptions or own covers.
• mark movies/tv show seasons as borrowed.
• Full-fledged list management (create your own lists and so many you want (e.g. separate lists for movies, TV shows, music, a wish list and so on.)
• move/copy movies between lists.
• list view and a tile view.
• customizable cover size in list view and in tile view.
• great look and feel.
• Light and Dark theme.
• different order and filter options.
• mark movies as seen with a time stamp.
• search in a list.
• Full-fledged Backup-Manager to save and to restore the database (Export/Import in different formats: binary/XML)

Initially extremely happy with the app until I wanted to know about backups. I've backed up my collection, I've then sent to my email to place onto a different device. The phone can't open the format the file is in (I've tried all formats) I've tried downloading it and opening it, nothing seems to work. There doesn't seem to be a way to import into the app, it's only local on that device which seems pointless. If anyone can offer guidance that'd be great as the devs have ignored me for weeks.
I want a refund. It' isn't what it use to be. I updated app recently and now only 3 of over 600 movies in my collection have images. Developer said previous images are no longer aloud. I can't even add one of the generic images aloud now to an existing movie in my collection in the app. It says it has been saved but doesn't. This means everything I have must be deleted and input again. What is the point of a backup file if you can't even update cover photos to it? Worthless!!!
I must admit its a fantastically fast app when you scan your stuff in, but as someone who doesnt collect mainstream Hollywood garbage several of my dvds werent on the app. So I took the time to photograph the front and back of each one (as requested) so they could update their info but they replied they couldnt see the barcodes I sent (which was pure nonsense as I have a great camera on my phone) so it seems they cant be bothered doing the work. Not gonna send any more.
one of the nicest running apps. organized my entire collection. you can later sort by actor, director, genre etc. It gives you information on each of your films and lets you customize the info. Another cool feature is random shake. shake your phone and a random movie from your list pops up. Great for nights where you cant decide what to watch.
Pretty great app. Great value. Scan in or enter title for search to create. Edit media type. SET DEFAULT MEDIA 1st - if yours is other than blu-ray. Doesn't use internal storage 🤗 Private & public lists. Once entered look for films by title/actor/director. Film not found? Use year of release or no year at all. Try with/without article (a,an,the) at the beginning or shorten title. Thumbnails may not be what you expect. Dark theme. Compact list view works well as does 🤖 font. Does it all.
Love the app other than I can't use it on multiple devices. I have the paid version, I have over 450 movies in it so far and adding more today. It hasn't missed a bar scan yet. It even found older not so popular movies as well. If it ever gets to where I can use on multiple devices I will change my stars to 5!!!!
Ive had this app for quite a while now and love the layout but it is tedious having to type in every movie. Since out of the almost 400 movies ive added less than 10 have successfully shown results with the scan option.
I really like this app a lot. I do have a fairly small collection and it works great for me. I really like that you can change cover art. I also really like that you can add multiple formats too, like VHS, Betamax, and Laserdisc. It would be nice if it CED format. Overall a great app.
Great App. However 85% scanned UPC do not find any movies, you have to search manually then add title, then scan the UPC to the title. It needs a function to upload upc database to developer so everyone can help build the database as an option. This problem is worse with Blurays.
As soon as I scan a movie, it just act like it's doing something then tells me there is no movie to add. For an inventory app, if scanning takes so long or don't work (in this case), it's useless. Asking people to pay for an app without trials, I should've known better.
Used to be great but now there are issues and there doesn't seem to be any support. I've lost the movie covers from the app and there isn't any easy way to recover them. Will be looking for an alternative app.
App works pretty well but hasn't been updated in years. upc camera search barely works these days, takes forever when it does. No new formats supported such as 4K.
Still loving the app. I have had this app for quite some time now. It still works great, no issues. I use it a lot more now because now I can buy more movies now that I have an app that stores my movie collection for me.
Paid for this app and was happy at first. After several years this app shuts down anytime I try to add a new movie. I have tried everything even reinstalled.
App worked for me when I used the free verizon. Bought the app, now it won't find any movies/tv shows when searched for.
I really like this app. But i can't open a backup on a new phone. i've sent an email 3 times, but have nog yet received an answer.
Great app, but the barcode doesn't seem to work. Is there a fix for this. I'm in South Africa. Will give a better rating once fixed.
Exactly what I was looking for, allows me to easily sort my DVDs and digital Just needs to be updated

All of a sudden I can't add movies. Says movies not found. Uninstalled.
Terrible and disappointing app keeps erasing my covers. Uninstalling.

Good app overall. Would love an option to display IMDB rating.
I've been using this app for about 3 years and it easily stayed in my top 3 apps during this period. I added about 600 films and 200 TV series. Unfortunately about a month ago it just stopped working on the device I dedicated to it. Impossible to add new films, backup and restore didn't work either. I used the "support" function in the app, NO REPLY. Seeing comments here, and the dev's replies,I sent the dev an email with the complete description of the encountered problems. NO REPLY. I see people describing similar problems here... This app was one of my all-time favourites, and the first app I bought an unlocker for, but now the dev just doesn't seem to care about it any more... So I can't recommend it anymore either.
