Movie Director Simulator

It is a really good game for real. I just wish there was a tutorial at the beginning and more experience and cash rather than just failing at every given task... It makes it boring and not fun. Overall I really love the concept of the game, and also if there was more interaction it would be great!

It's a very addictive game but it also needs some improvement. Like crashing of game when I touch the screen when it is loading. We cannot buy the best equipments until we buy the minors first. When I stop at a fortune teller he takes my money but doesn't tell the future. Overall it's very good. It has comparatively less ads and unique features. Love it.

Pretty good so far, the jobs are a little tedious at times. Its definitely a grind to progress, and to make better films. It would be really cool to see a feature where you can dress up your characters in the movies, and maybe choose different sets for scenes in the films. Also maybe a little tutorial on how eat stat affects different film types.

Addicted. It's alot of fun and works pretty great. The only problem is when ever you "save" it and log off, once you play again, you won't be able to collect from your business and your part time job never counts toward your profit, so you always lose money every first time you pop in the game. No other problems but I do have wishes, like a better optional menu for the actors for your movies, and to switch it up with the reviews and profit for movies. Like a better algorithm.

Good execution of the Game Dev Tycoon formula, with unique minigames and mechanics as well as stripped down interface to set it apart. There are quite a few translation errors, but in most cases the intended meaning still gets across. Very slow to start, and progression can feel sluggish throughout, but as a simulator this is realistic. Overall it offers solid gameplay, a rewarding progression system, but just needs a little polish.

It is pretty fun. Repetition early on is justified because it is easy to imagine the tedious life of a newcomer to the film industry. Although, some mechanics in the game are not well explained. Grammatical errors are also present, which is hilariously ironic because it is a game involving writing screen. A great game regardless!

The game is rather frustrating. You're thrown in at the start, without a tutorial so it's hard to know what to do. Even when you finally understand its hard to progress as half of the game is either not translated or makes no sense and the other half is pointless as you'll make money on a film but then spend all that on the next one, never making any profit. It's a brilliant idea for a game but it needs far more work before it's playable

Fun, for the first few in games weeks. The. It becomes repetitive and borning. I would enjoy it if it was better it almost there, I just really dont wanna play an almost fun mini game for a year in game insider upgrade my writing skills from bad to ok. In order to make any kind of money you have to watch ads altho they do make it optional it really isn't if you want to make money. Also half I time I watch an ad or do a job/mini game I never get the money. 🙃😓

Fun but needs to be fixed. Okay, I love this game, it's great! but I have a problem. When it takes me to the loading page, it takes me to home screen, I try about 5 more times, and they all take me to home screen, then I try one more time, and it takes me to the game after 6 minutes of waiting, PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

I personally enjoy the game. Its very simple and easy to go around. It's good to pass time but isn't anything challenging. I did take off two stars for constant spelling errors, and the fact that the only job your can get right off the bat only pays $360 but that's not a deal breaker. I love the little exams, they're cute with random trivia

It is good fully reccomend it. However I only put 4 stars as when it's making the script or montage you have to wait for the next week and it's quite boring. Also please can you make it so you can actually play with your pets instead of just pressing a button. But other than that. LOVE IT. Really time consuming and brilliant. Thanks for reading :D

The game is pretty good and addictive. It has a good real life aspect too. I like it. The spelling errors need to fixed and the test needs to be less specific (prohaps automatic instead of manually putting in the answers). It would be 5 stars if these improvements are made. It is a great game and I enjoy playing it.

Very intriguing but needs more work on UI/UX. The descriptions could be better and some of the translations are poor in English. The only big I encounter is not being paid for ads I watch about 50% of the time. Honestly the game has enormous potential but could use some consultation to finish the game or make a better sequel. My studio dealt with similar growing pains but it can be overcome.

Enjoyed it so far unfortunately the button to advance in the days is below the bar on my screen so it's hard for me to press it half the time. Also the questions for the school are often either wrong or nonsensical lol. Still I can't help but play it. Edit: came back to the game all issues have been fixed and I love it

I'm not sure why this game is rated so highly....it's a fun concept but it's done pretty poorly. First of all, I can't access the bottom buttons as I have a display for my home button rather than a physical button. The overlap keeps me from pressing the clock. Also, the design is really simple, but not in a useful way. More like the developer was cheap or just new to designing apps. There's more, but I don't have the space. Sorry, but this game is really poorly made.

It has the potential to be a good game. But some things aren't just clear. Choosing any contract gives you only one option, to refuse. Don't know if I'm doing it wrong or if it's a bug. Also after watching ad and exiting, the game still says showing ad. Pretty sure that is a bug.

While this game seems like a good concept and there are lots of things built in to both the main film production part and other parts of life the up and coming director mohht experience it has some flaws. Its quite easy to go bankrupt, the script writing process makes little sense, and its not well translated into english. Im suprisingly invested in figuring it out, but this game is frustrating.

It's a great game! Nice to have on while you do something else like draw to let weeks go by, check in every few minutes. Your movies do start out awful so BE PATIENT! Also when you go to school be ready for real questions. There are also about 5 schools, school, college ect. I would like more creative and multiple same-paying jobs in the start. Thanks for a good game!

It's a good game, I like it, but I notice that when you edit the script, I can't scroll down so it's hard to see what I'm writing, and I tried pressing back, my keyboards won't disappear. So when I pressed done, my keyboards disappeared, and I'm not sure if I could edit the script again. Another problem is, it often crashes.

So I have been playing this a while, on & off, and thought I'd review and give helpful hints. It's not a bad game, certainly passes time when you need to. Exams are useless and some make no sense. When creating a film, do not use any marketing or anything that costs extra as you don't actually gain anything more in income. From making short films, I was making £25-30k, to small films at £200k +. Save your money until you can release, don't buy anything or add ons until you can do a small film!

A good game, but it could be better if the debs took more time to make it a more thorough and solid game. You could improve by reworking the UI and adding sound effects. One more thing, when you are choosing the amount of points to allocate you should be able to go back and forth, or see all of the options.

The game so far is good but seems a lot more grindy than it should be. I'm only writing this review because I'm in a constant decline of money, without even really noticing it because it doesn't show you you're losing money. It makes every outcome of your movie's success seem like a profit once you're done with the movie making. Other than the confusing UI & overlay and the grinding the experience is well thought out and I suggest you give this game a try.

Really liked the idea so download the game, but I unfortunately it crashes almost instantly every time a load it up. Reinstalled multiple times, restarted my phone and closed other tabs but still doesn't work. Undownloaded and I won't be installing again.

It is not bad! At the beginning, though, when you are at your first part of your acting career, I don't understand why tapping comes into play to do voice overs. The most I can get is 2. Anyway, download it, it's not a bad app, because adds aren't popping up at me every second.

Good time waster. Simplistic design. It is EXTREMELY slow to start and get anywhere. Realistic because it takes forever to be successful. You make money eventually but it takes way too long to even move out of your parent's house. Jobs are tedious but eventually you make way more with only side job watching ads. There should be more ways to earn prestige and you should be able to filter contracts and actors somehow. There is zero challenge as far as love, family, and pets go. Very repetitive.

So far kind of a slow start. Earning money in the game is slow. Raising player stats requires game money which is hard to come by. I guess the "scraping the bottom of the barrel" adds some sort of realism to the game. If you're going to start somewhere you might as well start at the bottom. 3 out of 5 stars for me.

Alright. I stopped playing this game for a while, just redownloaded it and it crashes the moment I try to open it. Have tried over and over and over again, deleted and redownloaded it, and it just shows a brief moment of logo before forcing a stop. Only two stars because I used to enjoy the game, a real shame it broke.

First of all the games is great but there could be some improvements like making it easier to get money. Second of all please decrease the price of the films all of them accept the short film is to expensive. Lastly please increase the amount of money you get by watching ads. Also please add more jobs to earn money. The games is AMAZING!! Keep up the good work!
