Overall pretty good, but it doesn't really have any older movies, and for the TV shows it only has the latest seasons, and they're very glitchy, love this app, but it needs a little bit of maintenance. There also should be a feature where users can recommend movies to add, so the devs won't have to think of movies to add and can focus on polishing the app itself as much as possible, while also making everyone happy.
The movies were constantly interrupted with advertisements! The movies took a long time to download, and in the process of downloading, other apps were breaking through, requesting that I choose their app instead of MoviesTV Box! All of this happening was very aggravating and annoying, so, I got tired of it, and uninstalled MoviesTV Box app!!! Your app NEEDS TO BE FIXED, bcuz, it's messed up bad!!!
I really loved this app , when I first started using it. Any film I wanted to see downloaded, it without any problems. But now when I try doing it, to watch it through chromecast, the settings have changed for some reason. I can still watch movies, in my phone, but not through chromecast . Is bit of a let down.
Do you like buffering because that's what you'll be getting a lot of. No matter what kind of network WIFI, 4G LTE, 5G E, or 5G buffering for as far as the buffer can go. Also ads over whatever you're watching and if you don't know how to clear the ad. GUESS WHAT?... you get to watch another one when you select the video again AND start over from the beginning. Also trying to search for something is a task in itself because options come up, but you can't see them arbitrary pressing a blank screen
Horrible. Cimabox I was OK. Forced to update to Cimabox 2 and cant watch a movie for 2 minutes without an ad popping up. It's so annoying! A few is fine, but throughout the whole movie every few minutes is terrible! I want the old one back. Going to have to uninstall this one. Very disappointed. Oh and its ALWAYS down for maintence when I'd like to use it the most.
Its meh, theres just not enough content for the amount of ads you put in there. You want to search a movie? Here's a 30 second ad. Oh you've found the movie you want to watch heres a 30second ad. Half way through the movie I'm interrupted by (guess what) an ad. Also 9 times out of 10 when I search for a movie/tv show you dont have them on there.
Ads, ads, ads, and more ads!!!! One or two ads is fine, but 5 ads in a minute and half...that's overkill. And let's not forget to mention how a movie will buffer for...an indefinite amount of time...you're watch more of the circle chasing itself more than you're watching the movie. Did I mention the ads? I want the old showbox app back!!! The 2018-2019 was so much better! Give it back and unlock it so it works on all devices please. The 2020 is absolute trash. Way to sell out something good.
There are subtitles on 95% of every movie and shows. That is very annoying. Some are english but most are foreign language. Also you need more shows. Where are the rest of cw shows, besides just the flash? Sometimes it takes too long to load if loads at all. Be a much better app if these things were addressed.
I also stop running pages behind the movie scream like games, utube, other movies, Facebook, and sites 95th? Great app continueosly updated box office movies. I deleted all apps that wasn't work related even games to prevent buffering!!! Most add stop because when I update the site. Therefore in 2 seconds., It's back up and ready 2 use. It really need a better downloader, this one only loaded one at a time. I can live with that I'm satisfied. Great job show box!
Worked awesome at the beginning. All the latest movies and shows. But lately, after they did maintenance on it, hasnt worked. Would of gave it a 5 until 2 weeks ago. Now maybe a 3. More like a 1. Just a blank screen with the wheel spinning. Not impressed!
I would like if every damn movie i watch a message wouldnt pop uo and say another movie is on because then i have to restart the app because after you it okay(the only way to get it away) it goes to the home of the app and says nothing is avalable then after an hour looking for my movie again i have to figure out where the movie crashed! I love the app but fix this!
Great if it's working. But lately it has not been working at all. And today I got a push notification from the app saying servers had been fixed only to come and find out it's not or at least for me and there are a few too many ads but if it's working they don't bother me but since it's not and I still get ads all the while I'm tryna see if it's back working it's a big problem. Even tried uninstalling and reinstalling never helped
Since my last review I am pleased to say that this App is improving every day. The only criticism is the strange advertising in the middle or near the end of viewing a movie. This needs to be fixed. Other than that though I am enjoying the new film/shows being added almost daily. Way better than Netflix...🤗
I love this app, I can change servers so that i'm able to watch movies without the buffering and commercials, I just wish they had more older classic movies as well as new, for example I looked for a movie called Private Eyes with Don Knotts & Tim Conway and it isnt found, add more movies like that and Hitchcock and Marilyn Monroe movies and this app would be perfect...
They have a good selection of movies old and new but some are not that great quality some are thought. As for TV shows there's not a lot to choose from but they do have some of the popular show. Using Chromecast with this app is broken.
Won't load anything but boy does the commercials work. Way too many ads for me. When I open app an ad when I choose what I want to watch an ad then before it opens to said movie loading screen an ad. Then try to close app and what happens, an ad. So uninstalling and since there are no zeros I can only give this a one.
Like the app but the amount of ads is absolutely ridiculous!!! So many ads makes it not worth using. I have tried to be patient but the apps gotta go. I mean seriously an ad after EVERY tap. Be nice to see how the app actually works.
I love this app when the movies work. Lately they seem to just load. A few have worked but sometimes the app likes to close on me in the middle of a movie which is a pain. Ill keep trying this app and will give an update in a few days if things get better or worse.
Aweful Dont download. The movie won't play. You may get lucky to watch one movie after Lots of commercials ads. Sometime after clicking no to all the ads it returned back to the homepage. Very frustrating!!! Oh and sometimes you get a popup from the I guess the person who created the app. Telling you to watch some tv show. THUMB DOWN ....DONT WASTE YOUR TIME😡
It was good at first but recently all of the movies stopped working. All of a sudden not one movie is uploading so then I decided to try and start downloading them to my phone, only one movie downloaded. After watching it I deleted it so that I can download another movie and guess what no other movies are downloading! I then uninstalled and reinstalled the app and still none of the movies are working! If anyone knows of another app that is as good as this used to be please let me know.
The new update its certain movies that wont play at all. Other movies it takes a while for it too long. I like the last cimabox because I didnt have none of these issues. I was able to watch movies with no problem.
I am giving this app ten out of ten, all the latest movies and TV shows. one of the best things about this app are the adds, I have not seen an add that lasts more than ten seconds, not bad to watch an up to date movie or TV show. I watch my albba tablet and smartphone a Samsung s9 with no drag or buffering. I have taken the time to write this because it's that good, you won't do any better and believe me I gone through a lot of these types of movie apps it is the best day far. Worth A5 star
The first time I use the app it was okay. Now every time I try to select a movie to watch and never plays, just sit there going buffering buffering buffering buffering buffering the movie Never plays and it won't do anything except ask for rating. So I'm going to give the lowest rating I can't cuz it's a piece of junk just like everything else that's out there
Half way through the movie it stops playing and asks you to rate the app. Then you can't get the movie to play again. Other times it stops the movie and plays an ad. Then you have top start the movie all over again. Plain in the arse.
Not a very wide selection, but the ones the app has are very good and have a high quality display... Could do without the advertisements that pop up at the worst times, but it's manageable overall
Has some good movies but not alot to choose from. Also...wayyy too many ads. Would also like to see more options to watch different seasons of tv shows as well as add more tv shows to watch. Once that is taken care of...then it will deserve five stars.
I'm not sure why there are so many critical reviews for minor nitpicking things. Overall its not too bad. Decent selection of movies, limited ads (which is very nice compared to other like apps), quality of movies is good, download available, Chromecast option available (a lot of like apps dont) and Favorites option included. The only issue I have is...when you go to watch movies you are given a selection of servers to use. Sometimes the servers are unavailable or movie won't load. Worth using!
