It easily found server and it works but only basic controls available. Time slider has a bug - when clicking on any time position it just starts video from the beginning. No image resize and position controls. Failed to handle file open from NAS disk - already playing file and others in the folder ok, but one level up and it said no server found. Good start and minimalistic design but needs farther development.
didn't think this was very good, just a simple controller. Until: i pressed the menu button up and several more useful features popped up. The only thing I can really do is queue items to my playlist, no access to the playlist, that's common in all of the apps that control MPC-HC as opposed to VLC remote. Maybe that is something to do with MPC - HC. But I still like this app. Oh yes, host names, I have to enter full IP addresses. But the search usually finds the running app
Im sorry for my last comments. But this time i got To blame my tiny 3,7" screen. How about this, this remote already presents volume slider so you can remove volume up-down button to give more space for fullscreen button.
Great app. Clean and simplistic but most important freeware with no ads. Simple setup. Intuitive interface. Exactly what I was looking for. The only improvement I could add is support for DNS names on server's rather than IP only as my dnsmasq enabled router can do easy lookups and avoid rescans due to DHCP IP changes without the need for static IPs or long lease times. Thanks for making the effort to develop solid software then be generous enough to give it away. Highly appreciated.
I really like the minimalism and attention to efficiency with the on/off button. one thing I would suggest is while holding down the volume bar, send the new value every half second or so instead of waiting for the touch release. volume percent would also be nice
I have tried many remote control apps and this one is the best: it works great and there is no battery drain. Thank you! (The only thing I miss is a possibility to move the screen up and down -one app has it..)
Would appreciate a more aesthetically pleasing and intuitive user interface, but that's just nitpicking.
Does teh the job well, only big thing it's missing is option to download subtitles, with it, it would be perfect.
Great simple but functional app. What is missing is a screen to view current playlists and from there add files. thank you for making the app simple but awesome.
It does it's job. But seek bar is not working with v1.7.10.250, it just jumps to the beginning of the file. It also force-closes on my device when I try to access Files.
Thanks for this app brother. Very useful for me to control music without touching PC.
Does what it should. Love the simplicity. But really would love to have controls on lock screen. Or it will impact battery?
Liked it a lot, but seeking doesn't work at all. Otherwise perfect!
This app is great. It does exactly what it says it will do. Easy install and setup- had it going within two minutes- and have now been using it for days, with nary an issue. Running MPC-HC 1.7.6 on WIN 8.1
Great job, easy to install and very useful. Thanks a bunch!
Love it. Simple, battery friendly. Has the basic features you need.
Great app. Simple, yet effective. Could use a skip back/forward button, though.
Not working. Need update
I really like the app it's very useful, and it does really what I'm looking for. But it doesn't have "move forward" and "move backward" buttons so using the "seek bar" is really annoying. Plz fix that :)
simple and efficient
Great program, adding the ability to toggle fullscreen would be amazing.
Easy and clear UI. Sees folders and for lists off my Nas, ie not limited to PC local drives. One tiny issue I had was due to the Auto Scan for servers I think... Default scan for IP addresses set to 192.168. whereas I use 172.16. It's best to manually add your own server. Still giving 5 stars. Thanks.
Works nice and it is getting better!
unable to add hostnames, only ip in the servers list. responds very slow, takes about 3 seconds for the action to take effect.
Great little app, big thanks to the dev. The only thing I'm missing is the possibility to either fast forward, or easily jump forward or backward in fixed time steps. Would be nice to have 3 jump levels, such as 10 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes. Or just one step that can be customized to one's liking.
