Terrible. Just a reskin of VLC, but with longer loading times and ads every time you load a video. At least it fixes the cutoff problem VLC has - but so does VL Player IPTV, and it doesn't pretend it's a whole new program. No ads, either. Get that, not this.
I'd give it zero stars if I could. Glitchy, one ad after another, requires internet to run just to so it can bombard you with ads. Not always near internet access so I need a player that operates offline. This is app is nothing but an ad machine.
Annoying pop-ups and doesn't work without a connection. With VLC, almost identical and not nearly as many pop-ups! I prefer MPC on desktop over VLC for many reasons, but VLC on Android for these reasons.
Glitchy at best. Tons of constant adverts. And after one day of use it refuses to open any more files. For a company that made a great media player for PC they truly made a mess of the Android version.
It seems slower than the older version and I can't find how to switch to dark mode/theme. Don't use it with your WiFi or mobile data activated if you don't want ads.
Get VLC player instead, it has all the features, and more. VLC works great, no ads and totally free. 😍VLC. This clusterf*ck has ONE thing that works: ADS. 😠🤮🤮🤮🤮 So it spams you with ads. It's like the only purpose is to fool people into watching ads by copying the appearance of a great player, total scam, 😡🤮 Wonder if it has stolen the name of MPC too, just to get the credibility of that player too. You should be ashamed of yourself, developers! 🤬
Garbage. Does not recognize subtitles in internal memory. Every time you step out of the app, the video starts over.. full of ads.. gonna try again in a year..
I love MPC-HC on desktop, but this app is a big misunderstanding. The amount of ads and lags is unbearable, total garbage. I'm gonna stick with VLC on my Android.
Cant even able to use even once. As i started a video there were advts one after other. My local video not even started. When i tried watching my mobiles local videos without internet, the app asked to enable internet
The best media player so far. Graphics and sound enhanced. Very inpressive. Will recommend to my contacts.
Was a fan of this from 17years and more even before Android app released I like the desktop version too from the beginning the same version which was devoloped as an app too with same features.
If we're on offline mode, the application won't play your videos . . . Why ? Because they need to show ads, lol . . . Worst media player app
Worst app. Every time i open it, and search for a file, the app always force close. not just once, but ALL THE TIME, FORCE CLOSE. Absolutely HARAM for everyone.
I usually use this to watch videos but since yesterday my apps just freeze and do nothing. I can't even play one single video... Why? I love this app but its not working anymore
Media player on laptop was unbeatable but this is rubbish. I never got past the endless adverts to even try it !

Remove the ads I might download this one, this is one of my best video players even on my PC, but on android it has ads? Come on remove it..
The folder I made are all wrong. Merged and weird ones are createf. But the program is my true love. I want to chose the color.
I absolutely love this app! I've been a faithful user even before using this on my phone. Way back when I was still watching movies on my laptop/pc.
Garbage. Wouldn't play half my MP4 files, and throws a fullscreen ad in your face before it even tried to play.
It has an opensource project logo but even refuse to run if internet is off. All the purpose of this app is to show you add before every run!
can't add a network share because the list refreshes every 5 seconds or so, closing the login overlay before i manage to insert the password
I'll take vlc player on android, media player classic is best on windows / XP / 7 ultimate.
You need internet running in order to play your video after an ad. So yeah it's very ;$(+_)#+&
It's compatible with everything which is why it gets one star. On the other hand there are too many pop ups. On desktop there are none but today I had to watch 4 ads before playing my video. Also it has issues working without being connected to the internet which the desktop version does not.
