Mr Bomb & Friends is a fun motivational countdown timer for children and parents. It can be used as:

We've done extensive testing with our own children (Age 6 & 4) and it really seems to work!
PARENTS!! Use for bed times with caution! The children tend to get excited. We recommend some kind of calming activity (like reading a story) between using Mr Bomb & Friends and the children going to bed.
Mr Bomb & Friends allows parents or teachers to define goal and reward settings right inside the app, and it's all recorded for you. It’s simple and fun.
Parents and teachers can create their own reward messages and choose their own rewards. Parents and teachers can then share these with friends and family. We made Mr Bomb & Friends so it can also fit seamlessly into your own children's reward structure if you already have one in place.
For example, if the children complete a chore on time, they will be rewarded stars. Each time they do this, their Star Jar will fill up. Once it's at the top, parents and teachers choose to reward them with whatever reward they wish. The amount of stars, reward targets and messages can all be fully defined the parent or teacher, so they can have as much or little control as they wish…and it’s all so simple.
The app is free and contains no ads (because we hate ads). However, in order to unlock all the characters and features, there is a small in-app purchase. Try it out. EDIT: APRIL 2020 I just bought to full version. My kids are disappointed. The extra characters are very anticlimactic apart from the rocket. It needs a bigger change at the end. The kids are asking why doesn't something happen? Then they are not motivated next time. I do not feel it was worth the money. 2019 free version. easy to use, good visuals and the music is fun
Great visual timer. Using this for my autistic 4 year old to encourage him to stay on the potty long enough to go. I set it up and let him race the rocket ship or egg. He enjoys the silliness of it. And it gives him Something to focus on and is not as passive as handing him his tablet while he goes potty.
I dont know why a timer app needs access to my files, photo and media in order to use just a timer... And then not allow me to use the app when i refuse. If an app needs access to something on your phone to work (i.e. a photo editing app needs access to photos) thats one thing, but a timer app does not need access to your files in order for their free sevice to work. So parents, ask yourself... why do they need access to your photos and videos? Its creepy.
This app works like a charm to get my son to eat fast enough to make it to the bus each morning! The only thing I can add as a suggestion is that because my son likes to beat the buzzer to get points it always means he misses the action of when the timer expires so i have to go in and change the timer to have a quick runoff for him to see it. Having a way that they can still see it if they want to and still be able to get stars would be great
Kids loved it. I'm using this as a motivation for my kids to finish their homeworks, and it really works! Coz the characters are too cute, they didn't even want them to explode so they will try their best to finish within the time. Also make my life easy
I give it 5/5 stars because I love how I get to have a random amount of stars when I show the stop sign to the thing that is going to explode. But the least favorite part I like is when I don't care about the stop sign because when the time is up, it explods anyway. And, my second favorite part is when I get all 100 stars! :) It almost thinks of me that I am a pro at this. And that is why I gave it 5/5 stars.
Fun, nicely animated timer. Needs a bigger payoff for each animation though. Sound effects and maybe randomized endings each time to keep kids coming back.
This timer is the best for my toddler. It's great for transitions. My LO just loves it. "Do you want to brush your teeth now, or in 5 min?" He says 5 min every time. Instead of a flat out no, when asked if he's ready to brush his teeth.
Lot's of fun. Easy to use and great for what I needed. I was looking at buying a timer but so glad that I downloaded this app instead.
My kids love it. Wish more free characters were available. But aside from that, cute, functional, fun app
I would give it a higher rating if I were able to unlock the other items. It doesn't even update the stars on the bottom of the app each time you use the timer like 2 stars out of 10
I am giving it 1 star because it lets you look at two fun timer then wants to charge you money for the rest! I work with children and I am looking for fun free timers for them! If it were free the app would get 5 stars from me!!
Finally a timer that works for over a hour! The alarm could do with being a bit longer but other to that it's perfect!
App crashes when stars are rewarded. Have to reboot phone to correct. Also, no stars are ever actually earned. Very disappointed 😥
My son loved racing against the clock 3 stars because 1. app wants permissions that seem unrelated??? 2. I wasn't able to set up task list with allotted times
this timer is great. you get a prize when you get enough stars. the only thing i dont like is that have to pay money to get the characters. can you make everything free？
This helped my toddler get through potty training! He looooved it when the timer went off. He was super excited to do anything just to start this fun timer :)
The unlock function does not work. The other characters remain locked although I made the in-app purchase. Otherwise this would be a fun app.
I use it in the classroom, e.g. while cleaning up art supplies or for group tasks. Works like a charm :)
Just tried it. Using it to help get my sons breathing therapy done and motivate him. So far so good. Keeping it exciting.
Just got it, it requires a rating for a free character. Graphics are good. Looking forward to using it
Love this app, and my kids enjoy the characters. This really helps me when they have to do chores apparently they like being timed to get things done.works for me and my kids
My kids love this! We use the free version and im not sure whether the paid version has more features, but it would be nice if this worked while using other apps. And I'd love to set more than one timer at once. In fact, the option of customizing a morning routine with different music for different tasks or something would make this five 🌟 perfect.
