MrReceipt - your receipts in one place

Practical to avoid clutter: I never know if I should toss most receipts or keep them and it takes up space in my wallet, and this app resolves the clutter problem - of course, I still don't know to what extent I should keep receipts or not, but at least I can trash them the minute I took a picture of them. Practical.

Excellent! Much much better than listonic. The only missing is drag drop lists order and undo option.

once u read the terms can't Untick the spam and data collection. You can but can't use the app without agreeing to it. I don't need my info shared with 3rd party.

Needs more templates for catagories and will randomly not record my receipts after cataloging and saving - it will simply disappear into the ether.

This app works great. My only complaint is the text scanner doesnt seem to ever want to finish so i press the skip button and when the receipt details show up the details are filled in. So the scanner works but doesnt finish on its own. Also i wish there was a way to leave the return reminder set to 0 so i dont have to change it for every entry i add.

It's okay. It's convenient and simple to use format, however I don't like the fact that when you take the picture of the receipt, you have to do it in one single shot and honestly the receipts nowadays are quite long. Therefore if you modified the camera in app and set it like others do and put an add section option that way you can clearly see all the information on the receipt

I just downloaded the app today. I have uploaded my first few receipts for 2019 and so far, so good. It was super easy to start taking pics of receipts. Pretty user friendly and self-explanatory. I will come back and rerate after a week or so. I really like the fact that I can get category totals. I would like to have a feature where I can add my own categories...such as Utilities, Pets, and a few other ones.

Just started using this like an hour ago my favorite of the receipt apps. I plan to use if for home budgeting rather than submitting receipts for business travel. I find it very reasonable for that. The receipt scanning software isn't perfect but that's hardly a problem if you're the least bit diligent. Happy so far.

Great potential, but a few needed features are missing: ability to print a pdf report (with the pictures), back up data, and way to organize into folders so you are not viewing all receipts all the time. I enter receipts by month, and while the statistics page will let me view by date , the default "all receipts" view shows every receipt in the entire database. No idea where my fikes are actually stored when I log in. Some private server somewhere?

The idea behind this app is great and the execution's quite good. However, so far the level of customisation is not satisfactory & inability to use the app offline is annoying. However, the core experience is good enough that I will be sticking around for a while and observing the developments:)

Easy to use and very helpful. Only note is I have a warranty good for 36 months and this does not have the ability to record that. It is either 24 months or by the year. Adjust that and it would be 5 stars. I tried as suggested but the edit of the 36 months was not accepted. I tried this prior to my review.

Almost there. Best app for receipts that I have tried so far. I don't like that it automatically uploads it to their server. I would rather have the choice to save only locally or to my Dropbox. My main issue us that I can customize the receipt name convention.

Good application. Quick add receipts, but lack of customisation. Would be useful to have customised group to create your own. Also, can't export entered data to excel spreadsheet or other external system. The other useful feature would be cloud saving. Beside the above, it's very good app.

Good app. Simple but well made. It'd be perfect if you could use your own categories in the icons up the top, as I don't have any use for the pre-made ones.

It needs to read the date off the receipt instead of having us manually entering it. It also would be nice if it titled it using the name found on the receipt.

I wish there is calendar view available, and option to select what account I paid from (credit card, debit, cash, etc) like Money Manager from Realbytes. I also want to turn off displaying warranties and product name too, since I am usually buying more than one product from a store. I'll rather display the shop name than product name in the summary list. Custom categories, export to spreadsheet, would be nice features. I definitely love the scanning feature like camscanner, but needs improvement.

Super slow. EVERYTHING is online even when app says that in logged off, so the waiting animation is displayed even when switching tabs, and it lasts FEW SECONDS! This is very annoying but helpful to see that app completely depends on the Internet. Excuses that app is online ONLY (while using, not just at start/end) because od backup are lame. Backup can be done once per some period when i log on. Saying that i have slow internet is even more lame - 500Mbit is really enough on fiber.

Pretty good. some suggestions: 1. It would be great if it can be export into other format, maybe pdf. 2. Also, if the category can be customized would be even better, because some categories may not be contained now, like if I buy things for pets. 3. if I can input the paying method would be great too

Overall i am enjoying the app. I would like to be able to sort by Return date as you can by Warranty. Since it is after all a "receipt app". Now a "suggestion" would be nice if you could set a return period to a store when selected. (I.e., Best Buy automatically sets return date for 2 weeks, etc.) Again, still love it. Cant wait to see updates!

Love the app! It's nice that it's simple NOT bloated with business features like expense reports or mileage. It would get 5 stars if I didn't have to login with one of my social media accounts. And if I could create/edit my categories. I have installed latest update and still not able to edit categories. Dropped 1 star for you claiming it is supported.

I tried several of these apps. If you want to see what you're spending in a clear manner, this is THE one. I dont need an accounting app for $30 a month. Simple to use, a camera that actually recognizes dates and amounts, and options to sync and export. Buy them a coffee and enjoy the app.

I went through about 10 other receipt apps before I found this one. so far so good. edit: I was gonna rate it 5 stars but just found out I couldn't share my receipt files. I was gonna send them to my accountant but apparently I can't. being able to do that would bump my rating up to 5 stars. In reply to their reply: I want to be able to share an entire year or category of my receipts and expenses with my accountant, in one file.

love this app! it makes managing my business expenses so easy and not having my receipts all over the place makes this a blessing. one feature this app needs is to view expenses by year. i understand i can create #2018 and i can view it all however i cant view the total for that year. also custom categories. like Fuel in the motors tree. awesome app though!

The main purpose of this app is to organize receipts. While you can add notes, it doesn't seem to search notes. It does take nice photos of receipts and allows easy cropping. Add as far as I can tell, it's free!

It is quite useful app, but what I really miss is an automatic backup of Receipts to Google Drive. I already asked about this feature about a year ago, but it still hasn't been added. Now I am afraid that if I lose my phone or the MrReceipt company shuts down their servers , all my receipts and warranties will be gone.
