The app always crashes when trying to adjust span settings on my H2S sensors. Also the Bluetooth connection is questionable at best. I've found that I often have to take the ex-proof covers off the displays to get a stable connection. Really good concept, poor execution.
Same android issue as explained in another comment. Works perfectly fine on iPhone but used 3 different android device and had the same issue. Connects 1 time then never again. Have to remove the device from you bluetooth history then re pair. Doesn't always work doing this either.
This app only works with Apple devices. With Android it connects the first time, then it never connects again. Confirmed with a 2nd android phone. Also confirmed with an iPhone. Developers need to fix the android option not give excuses.
App is very useful when it works... Apple version is less glitchy than the android version which freezes quite frequently. With some work it would be a 5 star app
App Needs to Be Fixed! Version 21 App freezes when trying to connect, or a Save Failed dialog pops up when downloading setting changes. As an owner of 12+ instruments I'm not impressed.
Tried everything possible but still couldn't get it to connect via Bluetooth. Wasted a lot of time trying to get it to work. Do yourself a favor and just use the keys on the controller.
i cannot connect to the x-5000. the app says it is disconnected. it will pair up with the x-5000 but it doe not communicate. it is as if the x-5000 does not exist.
Connected once then after changing the name of the device never connected again even after deleting app data from the phone and reset the device (factory reset)
App crashes constantly. Right when connecting to device.
Bad connection, freezes ,unable to change range on S5000 .
The app crashes as soon as it connects to device.
** UPDATED ** 11/2/2020 MSA updated app and it seems to connect to units again. Some formatting issues and had to restart app if trying to connect to multiple units onsite. Seems to connect twice - then not find any available units until it is restarted. Better than before but still a bit buggy. (Samsung S10)
