MScopes for USB Camera

Pretty good. I can be critical of apps but this one only asked for permissions that made sense and I plugged them camera in, then it said "hey, I see a cam plugged into USB, wanna use it?" and it worked fine. There aren't ads but there are buttons all over it that encourage buying the %4.99 pro version. No need, the free version will work great for almost everybody.

It's not the best looking app, but you forget about it anyway when you plug a cam or microscope to it, because what's important here is that it works. I've connected a cheap usb cam/microscope to my phone through usb-c, and tried several apps. All of them were big talk, but no walk. This one? This one worked out of the box, in an instant. It's beautiful. I think it works better on my phone than with the dedicated program on pc. Thank you for honest work, devs.

Nice app for Digital Microscopes. I bought a cheap Jiusion Digital Microscope on Amazon, and most of the apps that were recommended, were poorly setup or just didn't work. This ones easy to use and works flawlessly for me. I went ahead and bought the pro version for ad free and to support the development further. Not sure why it doesn't have higher ratings. People need to realize the ad supported version is meant for evaluating. Don't want ad's? Buy it!

This microscope app is perfect! Ads do not show up or stay on the screen the whole time your veiwing stuff! You can flip the veiw 180 degrees to prevent using the scope with a mirrored image! It has not crashed once! (Plug the scope in to your phone prior to oepning the app). It did not ask for permission to access my contacts! Its easy to use and works every time we go to use it (on 2 different phones)! Thank you!

The app works with no issues in my pixel 3. One annoyance is that every time I plug in a usb device to my phone (including headphones) the app asks if it should start. I use headphone every day, I'd use the app maybe once every few weeks, so found the notification annoying (so much so I removed the app). To be able to configure whether to show a device detected notification (or not show irrelevant devices, or remember settings on a hardware device ID basis) would be a nice enhancement.

Works with Pixel 2 using Android 11! A FREE APP that allows me to capture video / photos from my digital microscope and connects to the system camera! I had been using a different program prior to upgrading to Android 11 *NOTE: user must manually upload media files from MScopes to (Google Photos, drive...) as opposed to them being saved automatically. No biggie for me! 5 stars.

This app works absolutely great. However you need a very good quality cable and connector to go to your digital microscope and phone. Without it the app does not behave well. I found that out the hard way by getting a dollar and a quarter cable and had lots of problems and then I got another cable OTS cable for about $4 and all the problems with the app went away. I highly recommend the app but again better quality OTS cable to interface with the USB microscope connecting it to your phone

Same experience as numerous others have reported. Black screen, no video. Used to work OK but not any more. Tested with two different devices (phone and tablet) so it must be the apps fault.

It works fine with my Samsung Galaxy S8. The only thing missing imho, is the ability to be able to specify exactly where the images are saved. Other than that, it is easy to use, does what I needed it to do, and the advertisements aren't invasive at all. Thanks MScopes!

It worked before when I bought the micro scope now it doesn't work anymore at all could be the app or my phone charging port really don't know I've rebooted my phone I've reinstalled the app and nothing. 2 stars because it worked in the past and had a little fun with it but that's it for now.

This is a great app. But I have some issues with it not recognizing the connection when I first connect it to my phone. It's takes 1 to 5 minutes to be able to use the microscope. I can't adjust the color or sharpness until I pay for it... Other than that, it's just what I need for my coins. Thank you for the app.

I have searched for the right app for my Qrose microscope, so that I may check out my coin collection (I am an amateur right now lol). MScopes has been the best app so far!!! It's clear, I can take photos of the particular spot I want to research more, and it doesn't close out on me like others have. I highly recommend this app!!!

I just ordered a otg camera to work with android 10 and the recommend app from manufacturer does not work for external USB on version 10. I tried other apps and same problem plus too many ads. This one worked without a hitch right off the bat by answering yes to external camera( not the same brand is mentioned in question )as question but it works fine and all controls function too. The zoom is great with volume buttons too. Don't have to return camera, that's great. Thanks MScope!

Works on my old phones (Samsung S5 and Sony Z3, both micro-USB) but not in the new P20 which has USB-C (all with their respective OTG adapters). My midi keyboard+softsynth works on all 3 of them, so it should not be an USB problem. No-name USB microscope, USB ID is 1db6:3610. Answer: Refresh returns nothing. Same effect on a friend's Honor 10. Other test: miscroscope+P20 on the same USB-hub, phone's USB options offers me picture transfer, file transfer, charge, reversecharge, MIDI. None of them works. Microscope's lamps shine.

App seems to work fine. It works when the recommend app didn't. I'm using a 3 in1 usb endoscope camera. Chinese made BK5134 from budk magazine. It takes good pictures and video. The settings are easy to find and adjust. Everything seems fine with the app.

works perfect. If you have issue try to change usb option to camera. I had issue with depstech app and I just solved that issue too. You have to select usb to camera and all the app permission to have access to your storage.(normal in order to be able to take pictures and store them). Now I can see my wisdom teeth or valve in spark plug hole. Great pictures🤣

it worked once first time it came up black. on the 2nd go, it worked. got about 3 minutes out of it, then nothing but black screens. it knows the camera is attached and asks for permission each time, but only gives a black screen.

Works with my USB microscope when none of the other apps would. Doesn't recognize the microscope's "take picture". Unfortunately, it takes over my phone's OTG connection for everything and won't let any other app use the port.

I'm using a Moto E4 plus, google 7.1.1 Program freezes when usb camera plugged in when, tried rebooting, opening program before plugging in camera, and or closing program then plug in camera then open program still freezes. Help!!!!! I need to view my coins. Thank you Becca,

I thought the app was causing my Pixel 4 phone to restart every time I connected the USB camera, but I now think it is the camera's fault and not the app so I'm raising it a star to four. Unfortunately the UI remains cluttered and non-intuitive.

Worked perfectly. Not like the half dozen other cloned apps I tried previously that didn't work. This was flawless. Easy install and easy user interface. Simple and effective. Thank you.

Doesn't work at all! Very scammy app otherwise. Other than trying to trick sign-ups (likely dangerous) it only crashes when clicking camera.

Works alright. Only app I could get to work for my USB camera so it gets an extra star for that and takes pretty good pictures but it's in app controls and all could be better they take some getting used to and aren't intuitive when using

If apps is launched before a USB camera is connected it make device unresponive (even power button doesn't work). If USB camera is connected before launching the app - it detects the device, but lags and only shows a blank/green screen.

Not Perfect, but works. This is the only endoscope app I was able to get to work on my LG Android 5 tablet and Hilarliy camera after trying numerous others apps in Google store. Knock down 1 star due to ads which are a bit intrusive. Clarity and sometime loosing connection I'll blame camera.

I haven't used it much, yet, as it's new to me, but so far I am loving it, except for the adds, but who really loves adds? *Update* I have a new device & it doesn't seem to work now. Can't detect my USB microscope! I'll keep trying!
