MSI Dragon Dashboard 2.0

It works fine, it's nice to be able to do a cooling boost with my fans while gaming without having to tab out to open the MSI control center on my laptop. I just don't know if it's working as intended with the need to reconnect it to the computer every time you use it. I have to keep the app open when I want to control my laptop, otherwise I have to re-connect it before I can use it.

I love the app. Two issue and one suggestion. 1. The QR scanner to connect the PC and phone doesn't work, so we have to insert the IP by hand. 2. When we change the MSI RGB, it does not change. Suggestion Add more features. Like editing profiles on the phone, graphed representation of temperature, GPU and CPU clock speed and such.

It works perfectly fine for me on my GP63 8RE, however it causes regular frame drops when I'm playing a game. I tested this by connecting and disconnecting the app mid game, and the problem went away every time I disconnected. Also, it would be nice to view the FPS of the game on the app.

I can't connect my MSI laptop with Dragon Center to this app, which is the entire point. Scanning the QR code leads to the app just asking me for an IP address; when I type that in, the app says that connection failed. I've tried this on multiple networks and double-checked my firewall, but it's not working.

It's good, but it's missing the 3rd fan in the cooler boost trinity aspect, the dragon center on the pc displays it, but the app does not. Also sometimes the app says it synced but doesn't carry out the changes. Even so it is functional and a good idea, it just needs proper growth and development.

The app works but the app itself needs some polishing. Icons are stretched and distorted. The text for profiles is missing entirely. Fan speed is missing for fan #3 and the app disconnects every time you use it, making you scan the QR code. Its a handy app, just needs some love.

Great app, love the ability to control my laptop's CPU, GPU, fans, screen display mode, sound mode, profiles, and volume. However, I have noticed a spell check error. For fan control, there's a few options: Auto, Basic, Advanced, and Color Boost. Yeah, I said Color Boost. I'm pretty sure you guys meant Cooler Boost.

Can't connect. It tells me that I need to install dragon dashboard 2.0 on my laptop, which is fine except I can't find it anywhere on their convoluted, poorly organized website. This isn't the first time I've had a hard time finding things on their website, either. Maybe it's not compatible with my computer, but there should be some way of getting that information to me, like a page with a list of supported laptops or something.

I successfully scan the QR code and then proceeded to input the ip it has under the QR code,doesn't work. I then try 2 different ip addresses and you wouldn't believe it.. still doesn't work. This app would have been very convenient, enfasis on "Would".

Doesn't accept the correct IP address, the one in my command prompt. The app is completely broken and seeing the hundreds of 1* reviews experiencing the exact problem tells me it's a common issue that MSI has known about for years and doesn't care about at all. Don't believe the paid reviews and don't download this trash!

It would have been better if my laptop and my phone were connected all the time rather than to scan the QR Code every time, I want to use it through my phone. If I have to scan the QR code every time, it makes no sense while it is a waste of my time as I could do it faster though my laptop.

From fan speed to volume control at your fingertips...away from your pc! It serves it's purpose. I can change profiles and view delayed pc temps and fan speed (not a jab, it's just reality). If you can't find it on the pc it's the interlocking rings icon.

Absolutely defunct app. Nothing works at all especially when you can't even connect to your own PC on the same network. Not worth the bandwidth it takes up downloading.

It works great for its purpose, but doesn't require any form of authentication whatsoever, which poses a security risk. I don't want anyone to change my current fan mode just because they have my IP.

Works great! For all the people complaining that the app freezes, try updating your software on your pc, I had the same issue with app freezing when trying to scan, then updated everything and it works beautifully.

Amazing app, super easy to setup. Only wish it had one feature, alarm if CPU or GPU temperature is maintained above a specific threshold, like 80 Celsius for more than a specific amount of minutes. Would be amazing to feel a bit more relaxed with nightly renders

Works but not very efficient process to get it running. Need to scan a QR code or enter IP every time I re-launch. Recommendation to include a history or remember the last device connected, or use computer name instead of IP? Wish it would also show CPU clock speed so can check for throttling (especially for laptops)

Just like many already wrote, mine just won't connect as well. It's so bad, that it is funny now. 😂 The sad thing is, it is not only this app, but the WHOLE MSI software ecosystem. MSI, I am a fan, but please fix your software. Both, Android & Windows 10. It is just not acceptable to have such many apps out there, which could and should actually be just one clean and simple app. A working app. Let's be honest: The software ecosystem is a mess. Please, sort it out.

Trash app. Freezes everytime I attempt a QR code scan, and using the alternative of IP addresses don't even work. Nothing works right. Not a single feature I've tried.

I was really hoping that this app would work remotely, but it needs to be on the same wifi network. Since I can just Alt+Tab into these settings on my laptop, I don't see too much of a use for this app.

Won't connect to my laptop, even though I type in the IP address. The address is correct, as verified through both the Dragon Center PC app and Ipconfig. The app just doesn't work.

I can say this app is any good. If you like fine, as for myself,speachless. What happened MSI, you use to actual bring useful applications to your hardware? These days they are all a total waste

Very useful and yet you can see your PC/Laptop performance! The only problem is that they should update the app to make it match with the newer version of the Andriod.

I have 2.0 on my pc. Nowhere is there a mobile option. I went to every tab and setting and it doesn't exist. Not happy with MSI. Too many careless issues. Regret buying their products.

MSI no longer supports this on their Dragon Centrr Control panel. App is pointless unless you have an outdated version and are still running it.

works fine for the first 5 minutes then stops updating esp when starting a game.also stops responding when trying to press other interface. needs update quick this is a useful app...

No better than the laptop! Had it for 1 year. They had it TWICE, for over a month, both times. Changed SSD memory both times, which means I lost everything! Had backups of most. NOW I GET A BLUE SCREEN 3 OR 4 TIMES / DAY. I have had 9 different computers since 1981. Computers generally have gotten better over the years. THIS MSI LAPTOP IS BY FAR THE WORST ! ! !

Would not connect. Kept going back to start, telling me to upgrade but already have latest versions on PC and mobile. QR scan didn't do anything either. Uninstalled.

Pretty clunky and unpolished. Frequent disconnects and hangs. Shows status whilst working correctly, however there are no interaction features.
