MSN Sports - Scores & Schedule

I had this application on my 3G Microsoft Windows phone. I just acquired a new 4G phone and searched for this app on Google play store. I compared it with other sports app in the store. In my view this app stands out. Information such as match venue (or stadium), that other applications; unfortunately, don't show, is still intact. The usual wonderful graphics, and the latest upgrades are amazing. In-depth news analysis about an individual sports personality, along with images is simply awesome!

I had been experiencing the same lost favorites issue as everyone else and I have now found a solution that worked for me. Go to the app's settings and delete both the cache and the data. Then open the app. Assuming you sign in with a Microsoft account, it should now prompt whether to merge or discard prior settings. Select 'discard,' NOT merge. Then re-select your favorite sports, teams, etc. This time, they should stick instead of disappearing like they've been doing lately. Give it a try!

Got hooked on the app years ago as it provided scores, news, stats, and standings all in one place which was very convenient. Sadly, they don't seem to care much about upgrading content or fixing bugs anymore. The NHL standings page has been messed up all season as an example due to league realignment. No one at MSN bothered to make the necessary changes.

Over the last week it has not rembered any settings. I have to reset them all. I close the app and reopen, the settings are lost. I have rebooted the device, uninstslled-reinstalled multiple times. Typical MS inconsistency in app design. Still messed up. The key is to disassociate the app from my MS account, now it works. Log in, it loses all the settings.

I have recently switched phones, and added this app, thinking it was the same app I had on the old phone, based on the trophy in the picture of the app. It's all I could find that looked even remotely close. But I don't think it is, unless it's been upgraded because everything about it looks completely different. It's more difficult to use, I wish it just had the basics of my teams sitting there waiting for me on the opening page.

Something with the scoreboard feature is not working. There are no in-game features currently working. Tried to uninstall and reinstall, with the same thing happening. Now wondering if this app is worth having. I am also getting signed out of my Microsoft account without my consent. Obviously, Microsoft is does not care about its customer base with this app, making it worthless and a waist of time.

To Whom It May Concern: There are many aspects of this app that I do like. It can be extremely slow to update. Very frustrating aspect. The ' Tennis' section is almost non- existant right now. That may be due to what's happening in the sport at the moment. Hopefully that will improve as the season progresses. I wish you could save stories. I have the news app. I wish it updated , notified, and functioned more like it. I will stick with the app and hope for improvements soon. Thanks

Ok... As a whole a good app for scores and news, but problems with team names in some sports... you get logos or abbreviations. And European tour always crashes. Favourite teams are also annoying to put into the system. Still, it has sports no other app has, so... 3 and a half stars; rounding down to 3 stars, as the issues above have not been addressed. And where is the XFL?

I can no longer get this app to work like how it once did. It only displays the News. No other feature works. I've re-entered the data for My Teams and My Sports several times, but the info just disappears after I closed the app. Just decided to uninstall it and replaced it with other sports app.

Very unfortunate. This app has been great for multiple years. Sometime at the beginning of October its experienced some major glitch and scores no longer update properly with box scores missing entirely. Reinstalling does not fix the problem either. Hopefully this is mended soon

Been using this app for some years. Covers many sporting codes which have been expanded over that time - great improvement! EPL match summary is great. Wish this was also available for A-league matches, too. Recently changed phone platforms and was angst till I rediscovered this app. Other apps I checkd did not cover as wide a range of codes.

This used to be my favorite sports app, that was when it opened. Now, for some reason, it opens to a black screen and immediately closes, over and again, even after reinstalling. Safe to say MSN Sports is no longer my favorite sports app.

Great design, good links to articles. The one area it's seriously lacking is alerts. No one is going to keep an app open for hours, so we need a lot more than just end of event notifications.

I loved this app BUT i just recently reinstalled it after trying some other sports apps which i didnt end up liking very much and I've tried at least 2 dozen times to sign into my microsost account and after I enter all my log in information absolutely nothing happens and then it eventually repeatedly asks me to sign into my microsoft account for better app experiences. This is HIGHLY ANNOYING

This app was the best sports App for me but recently it has been very problematic and not showing any of the matches or teams that I have selected! I have to reset everytime I open the app! Please fix this issue. Thank you. Other than that good stuff! Please fix.

works well for me, formula1 and premier league all I need. I have noticed when viewing the premier League table the points on the right of the screen are clipped, you can't read points properly. I have reduced score by one star because of this.

App doesn't save favorite teams and sports anymore after you exit out of app. When you reopen the app all the favorites are gone! Used to be a good sports scores app with no ads but now it's almost not usable. Microsoft, please fix these bugs!!!

Best sports app I have come across! Awesome interface, highly organized but very simple and easy to use. Excellent contrast between text and background, big text making it easy for even visually impaired to read.

Used to be my go to app for sports but it's been ruined. Keeps asking to merge or discard account info. All the thumbnails of team logos and news are gone. Terrible. I've sent a complaint to support but no response. App hasn't been updated since July '18. Issues are now fixed

As per the other reviews recently. I've been using this app for years with no issues, but something has changed over the last week and it now longer remembers any of my favorite teams or sports I follow when the app is closed. Very frustrating.

Great app, just really don't like that it always wants to get on the website to get the full details. A little bit hard to navigate through the app because of it wanting to open the chrome browser. Other than that, it's a good little app.

The text for the Android version of this app is ridiculously small. That is so strange, because the Windows version of the app has normal, readable font size. I wish they would make the Android app more like the Windows version.

Great app that needs more sports. I love the simplicity of use and the coverage of the sports available. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was the lack of so many sports that I follow. I'm a fan of college sports but y'all dont carry college baseball, college softball, etc... I understand that there are too many sports out there but until at least college baseball and softball are added, you get only four stars from me. Other than that this app is great....using on kindle fire hd 10

This app has been great for several years but someone changed it this week. Now it's difficult or impossible to enter "my teams". After entering the ones that it will accept they are no longer saved the next time you open the app.

I was using this app from 2015 to check the match schedules, team selections, players list and match analysis (off course the sports news) for cricket and soccer mainly. But suddenly this app has stopped working and I am unable to open app and nothing is there in the app after reinstalled. Please let us know any way/chance to get active this app soon?

Its a good app. However it doesn't give enough of the older games played. The older games score. Mainly in college sports. It could be 10:00 at night. I want to see some the earlier games played in college football. I can't find some of the games.

I think this app is outdated. It's showing euro 2016 whereas it suppose to be 2020. Then again the new promoted championship teams to premier league is still not showing as premier league but championship. And it suppose to automatically add those teams to premier league table but we just have to do it manually

Like this app, very clean just needs a bit better content. Like its Microsoft I know not really a sports company but just a bit better content would bring this app into a new level. The layout I believe is 2nd to none just content!!!!
