MTA Subway Time

Very useful; significant design flaw. When using the app, the status/notifications bar at the top of my screen becomes illegible. It doesn't disappear completely, but the text becomes nearly the same color as the background (near black). I'd very much like to see how much cellular signal or battery I have left while I'm using the app. If this issue gets fixed, I'll give the app 5 stars. This app is more accurate than others. It has helped me catch trains that I would otherwise miss. However, some trains don't show up in this app nor the station real-time signs. Also, I agree with other users that a refresh button would be better than going to the recent apps and closing it from there.

Far superior to the horrible m "My MTA" app. The MTA has foolishly abandoned providing data to this app as far as I can tell. It's far superior and allows you to look up any schedule anywhere at any time for any station on any line. Gives you the flexibility you need when you travel a lot and need to change plans on short notice.

When it works it's great but there's no way that I can find to update/refresh if you lose WiFi access. You have to leave the app and go back in. You should be able to swipe to refresh the connection. It loses points for this.

First time using it & it was inaccurate. OMW downstairs, the count down clock in the station said my train (D - Coney Island) would arrive in 4 minutes. The clock on the platform wasn't working but advertised this app so I downloaded it while waiting. I opened the app to see what it would say, expecting 1 - 2 minutes. Instead it showed my train arriving in 8 minutes. And then my train rolled in. Right on time according to the station clock, NOT the app! I'll give it another try though

I like this app a lot, but at odd times it reports "no connection", even when wi-fi or mobile data is on. I delete data in "Settings" & it works fine. Seems like a bug.

This is the worst app on my phone. It works maybe 15% of the time. You open it once, and then have to close put the app and restart it if you have to check it again 30 seconds later. Taking time out of my day to write this review while waiting for a subway that i dont know when is supposed to arrive.

The interface is terrible, but being cursed as a millennial new yorker makes it easy to manage. Otherwise, it works great and as a expected.

Every time I open the app I need to force-close it first and then re-open it, otherwise it won't connect. A simple refresh button or better yet an auto refresh would make this app bearable to use..

It gets you the information more often than not.. the app is slow and you may need to restart the app many times in order for it to sync up with the server to get new data.

problem with app it does not update the time as you watch it. Stays stuck on a time you open the app to you have to close the app and reopen it in order to get the correct time of arrival. will not update automatically.

This morning, like many mornings, the app is not updated with correct information. Most of the L line is suspended but yet the app doesn't have any info about it. The news outlets and the MTA website mention it. This app is horrible.

Out of Service, R.I.P. was the best app to check local transit schedules and planned changes with the MTA. MTA no longer allows info to be shown and to use the myMTA. I miss this app.

Trying to use app, i get an error code stating real time not available at this station and several others, defeats the whole point of the app.

Does not work after 12AM making it useless if you ride at night when every minute is crucial to catch the train otherwise you end up waiting forever. Makes no sense.

Why does this app hide the phone's status bar? The current time and whether there's a cell signal is very important when using this app!

Very accurate times. Color me impressed but where are the new updates and favorite stops for quick access

Its better to just use a web browser and add the website of your train station as an app shortcut. Must faster and only requires you to click once.

Unreliable. Showing incorrect schedule half of the times. But it's mta, so that's normal.

This app is excellent! The most helpful for any trip. A must for anyone who on a tight schedule!

I am having issues with the app. Sent numerous emails with no response back!!! That isn't the way you deal with people.!!!!!

Consumes a lot of data and now stopped showing arrival times at all. Previous app was much better. Not recommended

Work well. Has to be closed and reopened sometimes to get it to connect but I don't care

Tells you when the train is expected, without informing you of the service changes, like that you have to take a shuttle bus at the next stop

It is not showing me when the train reach a stop or how long it is going to take for me reach my destination.

This app will make me miss the train 50% of the time giving inaccurate train arrivals.

This app will show you what and the station with the time and it is so GOOD. BETTER THAN GOGGLE
