MTB Tire Pressure

Visiting the site “MTB Tech” I saw a very good way to calculate the pressure for my MTB bike, so talking with it’s creator I replicated to Android.“The calculator takes its cue from a table appeared in October 2011 in the magazine Mountain Bike Action (Italian edition). The article listed the average pressure and some changes to be made depending on ground conditions or the ability of the pilot. In order to make the calculation easier we thought we would provide a more simple and immediate service by creating this little website available to all cycling enthusiasts. The calculated pressures are approximate and serve as a basis for further refinements.”

Nice idea but not very specific. Should have separate tire cross section for front and rear. More options for terrain type. And should get details about the bike like hard tail or full suspension .it will give you a very vague idea of what pressure to run but could use some more thought.

Needs a 27.5" tire option. Otherwise pretty good. It gives you a number, but more usefully, it gives you a range of pressures as well.

With today's vast array of tire sizes, the app needs to include a greater variety and preferably be more specific.

The app led me to this website which is great for advising folk and reminding them how their weight is very important.

Nice app have 29 inch tires,I learned my front tire is slightly over inflated by 3 psi and back tire is right where its suppose to be at 40 psi according to my weight.

I used this app as a guide for my 29er, but it's not so useful for my 27.5er

Only 2 tires sizes? Really! No tire width below 2.0 Really! Worthless for me
