This app is amazing as a proof of concept. I was amazed about how well it works, and how good the music it generates is. It sometimes bug a bit, which breaks immersion, especially in the meditative music. I also find it's pricing a little steep, but the free version is good enough to know if you'll enjoy it or not.
As a music producer, this app is a great mean of getting inspirations as well as using for background music as I do other stuff. There are some problems I've found: 1. The music frequently stops and can only continue when I open the app or change the volume. 2. The subscription price for premium is quite high for just a little difference. 3. I would like some more genres to be added. This is not as important as the others but variety is always better. Really good app overall :)
for something that was so promising, I was extremely disappointed. While the visuals and intuitive controls are beautiful and well done, it's the lack luster selection of music and genres that got me. But by far the worst being the price tag, with such a premium price put on the subscription for an app that barely delivers is obnoxious. No one in their right mind would pay that much for an app that offers so little, go pay for a Spotify subscription and you'll get way there than on here.
Has good music, albiet few genres. No ads. I have the free version. They need to add a way to submit feedback or bug reports in the app. It has me sign back in every time I open the app (when I first rate something). To clarify, I don't have to sign in unless I want to rate the music. But if I am signed out, it isn't playing music customized to my tastes, so that's a real bummer.
Can't add anything to faves, "Auth Error"? I don't think I've been using it long enough to tell whether or not my likes/dislikes are actually doing anything. Some of the transitions are kind of jarring and some of the sounds seem too loud/distracting/out of place/unbalanced. Not a fan of the minimalist design. That said, I do love the idea of this app and it IS great for concentrating or setting an atmosphere. I use it while writing. Good stuff.
This definitely something i was always looking for but never found; until now. And I'm really happy with this app. Though not perfect, the exclusion of Offlineode surely is a bummer. I'd suggest, let us choose the mood for offline and your algorithm can take over. We can spare a few MB for this 'feature' Edit: Hey i also wish there were a volume control, like the one in the games. So it runs in tbe background but i still can hear other stuff in the foreground. That would be awesome!
I'm so fascinated by this concept. The music is good and it will only get better and more personalized the more you use it. I highly recommend that you at least try it, especially if you're into techno or electronic music, or if you've ever watched that livestream on YouTube that's constantly playing lofi music. This app has all of that and will only improve with time. Oh, it also has a very intuitive minimalist UI and plays the music after you leave the app. Five stars, hands-down. No question.
The music coming from this app is perfect for getting things done, but the app itself needs work. It doesn't follow established Android UI patterns so it behaves in unexpected ways. Needing to provide a full-screen description of what each button does is a clear sign of a poor design. The UI should be intuitive enough that you don't need to tell us what every button does. The app also has stability issues where the music just stops, and it doesn't work well with A11's media control panel.
i don't know why someone hasn't thought of this sooner! the main problem with something like a spotify radio is that it's segmented and it will always, eventually, repeat itself. not saying this replaces regular music. but it's a great way to hear vibes and moods, instead of individual songs. it's incredible just how well this works.
The songs seem to repeat within each category. There is no way to cast it to other speakers unless I'm casting my entire devices audio which is a bit annoying when you want to use your phone for other reasons. It's just a bare bones background music, paying for premium doesn't have that many perks except for being able to pass through the songs if it's not a good mix. But I'm going it improves in the future.
This is a seriously impressive app. It already produces excellent music, and in a few years, this technology will likely be so good that A.I.-generated music will be indistinguishable from human-made music. I bought the premium subscription to get the most out of the app, and I don’t regret it one bit! The reason I’m giving the app three stars instead of five stars, though, is that it lacks one important feature: a timer to turn it off after a set period of time. Load times are also too long.
Maaaaan this is refreshing! The beats already are pretty okay to start with and then as I use the features they got pretty tight. I dig the app! It's a decent price already and I'd probably pay more for an in-app EQ and the ability to edit techno. Even better would be the ability to manually manipulate reverb, delay, phase effects. This app has so much potential to change the DJ scene. I can see playing this in the back and manipulating and adding elements on the fly. I'm a fan!
absolutely love this concept. what this app definitely needs tho is some fading for smoother switching between channels or refreshing one. also, there's a need for further information on where all the money for the premium subscription goes. i'm considering upgrading, but such a sum for the features that get unlocked just seems a little out of place.
Amazing. Intuitive and original interface. Broad selection of expected but also very unique stations. Varied enough tunes with a learning algorithm. Mood "intensity" setting that works very well. Subscription model is at a very good price, much more affordable than regular streaming services. My only complaint would be that it doesn't play music offline, however that's just how Mubert works. Beautiful visualisations. Look out for the secret stations!
This app is something more than just a music streaming app. The UI, the idea and the execution is great. Imaging listening to one amazing infinite song / always changing, always something new. Humans using tech. on the right places. Getting high, working, sleeping, meditating. This one got it covered all. Never be bored by songs again!
Doing the 7-day free trial and I have to say, I love the music, but the app doesn't work well enough or have enough features to justify the $69.99/year annual fee. - music is interuppted by brief silence often and cN be choppy. (not suitable for parties then) - music streams are slow too load. - UI is not intuitive. Pressing the icon in the middle TWICE to get a new steam of the same type loaded, what? - NO CHROMECAST support! sad :(
Hi all! Guys, the application is really awesome! But I would suggest one feature that I really miss. It will be really nice to add possibility to like and dislike samples via Bluetooth headphones. For instance when I'm running it's really difficult to get phone from pocket and start liking.
I love this app, the concept behind it and the interface and the aesthetic. Good selection for the free version and I find myself opening Mubert more than Spotify or any other music service now. I'm currently giving it 4 stars as it keeps randomly stops playing music and even when I click on the notification to open the app, it doesn't resume the music. I know it's not my internet as I have 34mbps down and 12 up but all in all, amazing app.
It's super fun to play around with! Totally awesome, ingenuitive, creative, fresh idea! I encourage everyone to check it out, you'll be surprised how much you'll fall in love. Great app for background music while you work. The UI was a little hard to navigate at first, but it quickly became more intuitive and now I love it. I'm definitely considering subscribing for more options!
Seems like a good app, wanted to try out some features that require an account and maybe go premium but got stuck as the app doesn't play well with password managers. Specifically when setting up an account I wasn't able to progress from the screen where you enter your desired password twice (tried both auto filling and pasting the password in), no clues were given about what the issue was.
I enjoyed the music even if its quite repetitive. But there are 2 majors cons. The first is that when your phone locks itself after some time, the music pauses for a few seconds or even stops. The second con is that you can like or dislike the music so the AI learns and change the music. But you really don't know the effects. If I like 10 times in a row, what will happen ? And if I dislike 10 times in a row, will the music change immediately ? Describe more your AI pls.
