MUF Predictor
Although the algorithms used in MicroMUF have some limitations compared to other more advanced algorithms (like IONCAP), the calculations are very accurate for everyday use in the HF range (2-30Mhz).
The application contains the complete and updated DXCC countries list, so that you do not have to enter latitude/longitude but type directly the DXCC prefix or country name for the transmitter and receiver location, while the SSN is retrieved automatically from NOAA site if required.
Most often used propagation paths can be saved so that a prediction can run on them later.There is no limit to the number of paths stored into the application.

interesting app. not sure how accurate it is. one thing that is inconvenient for me is that it insists on using callsign prefixes as locators - which puts all of Canada in the same place!
The app is usefull only for the North Hemisphere. Here in Argentina not update data. The concept is interesting the app limited.
Now completely refuses to download any ssn data. Was stuck on 14 for ages, cleared everything out, now it's zero. Just let us put a number in....... It was useful when it worked.
Quick and very largely accurate. Been using it each day to rack up contacts.

No SSN update, installed versions.1.91 still say SSN 0. Sorry but pretty useless if SSN can't update
in circuit it give a date of December 31 1969 just wanna know if that affects the calculations for the Paths
Doesn't let you enter grid squares, so I can't get predictions within the east coast of the U.S.
For a free app and based on my experience, this spot on. Will try using it before calling CQ

Can you add a world map to select a region for the point to point selections

Seems nicely done but not useful unless I can specify lat/long of the path endpoints and SN.
Entering point to point info. When I select K (USA) there are three choices: east coast, central and west coast. They aren't together on the list.
Fun to play with, but SSN are not up to date.
For all functions , "Canceled" comes up...

As a DXer you find this app extremely useful and helpful developer always strives for improvements and corrections as needed
Neat, simple app if for example you wanted to check muf for circuit Switzerland to Crete, however as others have stated, for larger countrys it's problematic. I live in ve6 land so, sadly the app is not very usefull for me, other than to indicate a trend in muf. App does not calculate muf and luf to anywhere in the world as stated in current description. If one could input coordinates for a station, then this app would really be handy. Nonetheless, I appreciate the developer's efforts.
This app works great on my Samsung Note 10.1. The only thing is to add more areas to the larger countries such as Russian Federation, Canada, China, Brazil and the USA.
MUF 360 seems to be accurate, but individual paths contradict what it says. Better to use a map to get a bearing for an individual path and then look at MUF 360 to see your options!
