Muller Cultural

Recycling of art: culture and nature in motion, "Muller Cultural's new book brings together images of the work of 25 artists who use recycled or reused materials to compose works of art that, in particular, redefine the value of what would once be trash or material The launch of the project, which involves: a book, a photographic exhibition and an augmented reality application will be held at the Botanical Garden of São Paulo, in commemoration of the 90th anniversary of the park, on November 10 - from 11am to 4pm - with the presence of the Muller Family. Visitors who go to the official launch will be presented with a copy of the book, and the photographic essay will be exposed to the visitors for 20 days.

The project is the result of a two-year work undertaken by the Muller Family through Muller Cultural and demonstrates the works of artists from different parts of Brazil such as Recife, João Pessoa, Campos do Jordão, Visconde de Mauá, Santo Antônio do Pinhal, São Paulo, Itararé, Florianópolis, Penedo, Embu das Artes and Porto de Galinhas.
"What charmed us most about this project was to get to know each artist personally, their history, their feelings, and their desire to transform the discard into art. Our proposal was never to make a catalog, but to bring to the reader the sensitivity of each an artist exposed in his works, the wealth of material used, always the fruit of recycled discard, and the love these people have for art, culture and preservation, "the authors said.

The novelty of this project is that readers and visitors will be able to interact with the book and the photographic exhibition through an Augmented Reality application that integrates virtual and real-world information. Interactivity is accomplished through the RA application, available for free for Android and IOS.
"Recycling art: culture and nature in movement" is a project approved by the Incentive Law PROAC ICMS SP, with the sponsorship of the companies Styroplast, GreenYellow, Artefacto and Ramuza.
