Excellent controls and game compatibility. But there is a lot of distortion in the audio. And it needs support for more shaders and fliters like 6xbrz. Also the ability to change the positions of the buttons on screen, and not just the orientation, would be very much appreciated.
As an experiment, I have downloaded and tested nearly every snes emulator app under the search bar and this is by far the one that I recommend to you for multi-player and single player. It is yes compatible with wireless/PS4 controller, no ads so far, and unlimited saves, with no fee or subscription. I look forward to donating plenty to this user frendly app.
The emulator is great to play SNES games online with other players, but please improve the gameplay quality for guest (2P) and to let it use less data like other online apps and also, add a local multiplayer option so that it can play multiplayer on the same device, I tried connecting 2 controllers but it reads as the same player, please fix those problems, besides that its great.
nice controls but saving a game is a huge pain. i dont want the quick save/load on the screen. i want easy access to slots and it would be nice to see a screenshot of the saves. please look at John emulators or Collection NES games for an idea of how to let us save the game. its really important for large snes games.
Is pretty good, I used it to play some games with friends. Worked surprisingly well, was really responsive, the only reason I say 4 star is that I think the chat system could be better, and there should be a way to check who you're playing with, as well as add in more than 1 other person. Highly recommended.
Overall, this app is great and the buttons are very comfortable to use but man do I hate the lag, sometimes it does, sometimes it does not. At least the quick save and the quick load works perfectly fine for me. Also, sometimes the controls don't even respond.
Emulation is as expected for Snes9x, but adding games is convoluted if they are in a zip file on an SD card. I can access my zipped rom files only if I manually select them, but the "search for games" never finds them on it's own and retries the search EVERY time I try to play single or multiplayer. Just let me pick the rom directory and skip the flawed search please.
Amazing app, finally I can play snes game with a human being, 'cause no one around me love retro games like I do, the net is great, the control is actually the best in android version of snes emulator, and what I love most is this app is open internationally without the barrier of region. 1 request from me, can you please add copy link or something so I can put it on the internet to find more players, and can I go out and choose another game without losing connection with the other player?
I'll give it only two stars because it doesn't have Bluetooth multiplayer.Where we live, mobile internet packages are very expensive and Wi-Fi is not available, so I'm playing alone without my friends. Please fix it.
It's a great emulator, works fine and all. But the multiplayer is not really good. Multiplayer can be good on LAN but it's just super laggy on online play. My internet is good so my internet is not the problem. I would suggest you guys use rollback net code
Some years ago I used to play a snes battlenet version for pc that ran incredibly nice and smooth, it felt like playing with people on the same machine! For some reason it stopped working. This app is a great idea but most games lag so much and become unplayable. I hope it keeps improving. Playing these games on mobile plus multiplayer with a good performance would make of this the best app ever.
This is actually better Snes9x Ex. Just need a way to sort your favorite games and play them with out scrolling down the entire library of snes games I have on my SD card. Works well with my bluetooth video game controller, no lag and the sound and graphics are better than a SNES classic console.
I think its a great emulator plus it has online multiplayer though the multiplayer is laggy sometimes besides that the sound and graphics sound and look the same as the snes, the controls in multiplayer are fine but not perfect it is a pretty good emulator overall. The reason i rate it 4 stars is because the single player is good enough but the fact that it has multiplayer is crazy it isn't perfect though, i hope you keep trying to fix multiplayer
Pretty cool app but.. It's a cool app and the option to play two player via internet is ace. Ps. Two Player games only work via two player, in 1player game the other player just watch 1players game otherwise. small problems I found is that some games can be laggy at times (controls can be ether to sensitive or the game plays like a tank). 2) sometimes when a phone's screen 'sleeps' on wake game need a reset. 3) we need more apps like this (maybe multipsx or multiN64 etc :). Anyway thanks!
It used to be fair until recently. It automatically slows the running games for no reason. Also fix the Lan lag issue (it's Lan for God's sake). Also add Bluetooth multi-player option. One more thing, add ability to play using external controllers whether USB or wireless
online ad free multiplayer.. public private and LAN work perfectly. If you're lagging shut your mics when playing!!! Control mapping is great with touch screen responsiveness. Uses SNES9x as a core and thus is 99% accurate compatibe with all roms. Thanks for the great emulator with multiplayer features :)
Amazing this app is Super amazing It's amazing to be able to play classic games with your friends, especially if you're nostalgic.I've never seen an emulator capable of doing this before. It is fantastic I would like an emulator like that but from the Nintendo 64 . Yes you can
Best emulator for SNES games, it has online multiplayer, with passwords, you can play all SNES roms, it's free, it may lag, but that's mighty fine, you can play using Facebook, it's awesome, only thing I wish was on this is being able to toggle the SNES mouse, in case you wanna play Mario Paint!
The emulator works well, but for the love of God i can't seem to stay connected to the Wifi Direct services, which could be just me. But you have no need to doubt the emulator itself, its awesome. Hopefully someone would assist me using these
It's a really good app. my only complants are: 1: The second player lags waaay too much to even play most games. 2: There's no option for the 5 player adapter, whitch would be helpful when trying to play 4 player games. Other than those issues, its a very good app. If they were fixed, easy 5 stars.
(A) The in-game sound quality is just bad. I have had emulators that sound bad, but this takes the cake! (B) The D-pad and L/R buttons are okay, but the ABXY buttons are uncomfortably positioned and out of proportion.
Works really well, touch screen buttons are bigger and easier to push, controller mapping worked great. And the online is functional and had no trouble once we got connected. Heavily recommended
On the normal speed the games are way too laggy when I'm playing single player offline. The sounds all messed up aswell. Tried switching to x2 speed but thats way too quick. If there was 1.5x speed that would be perfect. Other than that. On to the next emulator due to the lag.
Works great! You dont even need for both players to have the rom. No lag. Well i played with someone random in europe while im in U.S. and we had issues but it is expected and i think he had a bad phone. Ive seen no lag when my LG V40 hosts but ive seen it act fishy with my LG K10.
It's all good except multiplayer. The 2P always lagging no matter how good the internet is. Which is disappointing because i downloaded the app for the purpose of multiplayer and if it's not working then there's no use.
(0.051)(BUG REPORT) Most games work with it, but "Tetris & Dr. Mario" (USA,2-in-one) will load, but there is no message (from the emulator) saying that it loaded it, the audio plays, but ALL of the screens are just blank color. I tried changing all of the settings, & getting it from several different sites, but nothing helps. Other SNES emulators (example = Robert Broglia) play it fine, so it's NOT the game's fault. I'll trade you more stars IF you fix it.
