Multitran Russian Dictionary

As of 22.12.2021 the app's not been working for several days on end. A message telling there's no Internet connection pops up whenever I try to make a search, though there's always an Internet connection. Actually, it's not the first time such a thing happens. I do like the app, however it's a shame it's of no use now. Fixed on December 23. Thanks for prompt response and troubleshooting.

This rate is to support the developers. I use this app for a while on my different devices and it helps me personally. I love that I can find terminology as analogous of the word in other languages, not only the direct translation. Good luck and keep going!

I love your app, but today something went wrong and it wouldn't work. There's that "!DOCTYPE html>" thing instead of translations. At first I thought I just have to update the app, so I uninstalled and installed it again, but nothing's changed. Also lately there was some problem with searching, it didn't translate words at once, at first app was blank as if I didn't press the search, and I often had to search for a second time to get the result. Hope you'll fix it soon! Thank you for your work💜

Like this app as well as web version of multitran already more than 5 years. It is one of the best options among dictionaries that had rich functionality: languages/dictionaries flexible setup, comprehensive vocabulary with justifications and translations of the word or expression from one language to another. Moreover, this app and it's cool features are absolutely free. So, it does not make sense to spend time for anything after multitran dictionary. Respect to developers team!

I find the explanation of the back up function deceiving. Wording export/import is confusion. Because of that I lost my last 80 searches. (In my understanding when I back up the data that is on my phone - I export it to the cloud, when I restore - I import it to my smartphone). I use multitran to save my searches, because other things like pronunciation, verb forms, plural form of nouns (German) are not present. This back up/restore thing ruined my good mood.

One of the best resources for studying Russian. There are no accents for learning proper pronunciation, I suppose because the site is designed more for people learning English, but nonetheless this resource is very useful. There are many words with translations in multitran that don't exist in other bilingual dictionaries. The app is excellent, despite the phrases section not showing up correctly on my ancient version of android. All in all, a very useful app.

This app is very good, in terms of providing a very vast number of translations in different contexts. But... 1) The search is quite slow. 2) It requires internet connection to work. 3) DO SOMETHING ABOUT ANNOYING ADVERTISING. IT'S NOT JUST A SMALL BANNER, NOW I GET THE FULL SCREEN ADS ACCOMPANIED BY A LOUD SOUND/MUSIC. THAT'S UNACCEPTABLE. DON'T BE THAT GREEDY.

A very useful dictionary in many different areas of knowledge. I've been successfully using it while reading printed and online sources on various topics or interpreting during assignments in medical and social services settings. Until now - it's not working. I am terribly missing this dictionary!

Finally. It's been added to Google Play. I've been using multitran for a very long time, because you can practically find lots of translation variants or interpretations in the web-site version. App version is simple and understandable as its desktop version and everybody will figure out how to use it, thanks!

The app stoped working, saying no internet connection. Reinstallation did not help out. What is wrong? I have been using multitran all my life

I'm a native Russian speaker who grew up in the US and occasionally look up the meaning of a word or technical term especially. Multitran has been my go-to for looking up Russian words, or the other way, since the 90's or early 2000's. I've used Google and Microsoft translate, and use them regularly traveling the globe, but for adhoc lookups of Russian words the experience and depth of translations on Multitran is by far the best.

After update it stopped working, saying, "No Internet connection". Though all the rest apps are working well online.

I like your App, it helps me with German, but it suddenly stops working. I've deleted and installed it several times already. And what's worse it stops working in a very uncomfortable moment. It's rather unpleasant. Please do something.

While the app works fine, it worth remembering, that this developer removed previous paid version, effectively taking away the purchase from the most loyal customers. Current paid version is updated version of the old app, which should've been released as an update, but instead it is sold separately. I'm not gonna pay for the same app twice. And I don't recommend supporting this developer because of such scammy moves.

Update to my review: it's been about 3-4 days since the app doesn't translate anything, saying No result found and No connection, although all other apps using internet work perfect! My new phone is Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. I just got a Samsung Galaxy S10 plus, and Multitran does not work at all - I even tried to uninstall it and install again - no word is found/translated - the language doesn't even matter! Please, fix it.. other than that Multitran is my all time fav..

Well, there's a problem now with the app, because it doesn't show the translation at first. Fix it, please, I have to refresh a page each time so that the blank screen disappeared. Moreover, I wish it was possible to do exercises with all of my collections, but not only one of them.

Unskippable ads is a mockery. It used to be okay when you could skip it any time. You get money from ads, we get a nice app. But now , when you can get an unexpected 10 sec ad video right amid the class, at the highest volume... Return the possibility to skip it manually

This is actually the best translator of single words or phrases I know. I really love this app because of its translations which are divided in different areas of living, such as economics, math, IT etc. Moreover, you are able to learn new words in a way of doing exercises!

hi, the app does not work immediately when you start a search (word translation). You need to repeat it and when it's ok. Also the column Phrase can't be viewed. There were not such problems earlier, however, last year for instance.

I use German-Russian dictionary every day and I used to have all vocabulary data here. But I've noticed today that the notes for conjugation of the nouns and forms of german verbs in past and participle are missing now. Get them back please. There is not much sense in a dictionary without these notes.

Everything works quite well and I don't have any problems. At least with Eng-Rus translation. And I do appreciate a big variety of definitions. Also, pronunciation of words is a very useful feature that I didn't have in an official app.

I always liked it! It is the best translator with a lot of meanings of each word. I miss in your app - voice typing and sentence translation. If you could add it I'll be happy and will not need to use other translators for these needs. Thank you!

The app glitches and works too slowly. The previous version was much better. Although I am a big fan and longstanding user of multitran web-site, I must admit that the app is not that good. After several months of struggle, I have just uninstalled it and further will use some other app.

The best translator, in my opinion. Contains a lot of variations of translations from different areas. What I also regularly use is exercises to learn words that I marked before. Very useful!

To be honest, I've been enforcing myself to use a new official version of Multitran, as far as I understood. There are completely inconvinient in terms of managing, no sound support that plays the front and center to me, no history and so on. It is very sad. Anyway, рахмет, что ранее была такая возможность и можно сравнивать с лучшей версией!) И да, я удаляю новую версию.

Ads which cannot be avoided are really irritating. You have to spend 3 minutes to get through those or to close the app completely and then start it up again.

App runs really slowly. Can be a little difficult to navigate the results. But a good resource nonetheless
