Mupeace (/ˈmjuːˌpiːs/, MPC with added pronounceability vowels) is an Android™ Music Player Client for MPD, the Music Player Daemon. It is a fork of MPDroid and, in turn, PMix. This fork retains Gingerbread compatibility, is active at squashing bugs, especially crashes, and adds features to aid navigation of large jazz or classical collections.
You can browse your music library, control the current song and playlist, toggle outputs and stream music to your phone. In contrast to other remotes, you can switch between different servers, say, in different rooms, easily with Zeroconf auto-discovery and share streams from the YouTube application to queue the audio for playing on your stereo.
This is a free and open source application with source code on https://github.com/eisnerd/dmix, where you can also report bugs and offer fixes and new features of your own, if you are so inclined. I've tried a bunch of apps for MPD and this is by far the best. Recognised my server with no need to add IP address. Nice to use and good looking app.
Nice looking app but the inability to identify any Tunein stations is a deal breaker for me... Uninstalled.
when I add an album it adds all the albums with the same name. For example I have 2 albums with the name "American Music". one is contemporary music and the other one is blues.
.. But I can't "see" Volumios radio stations! Is there a setting I miss or is it Volumios problem?
Best mpd remote but frequently asks to reconnect to server. Would be perfect if this was fixed.
Best MPD client I've found, and it supports streaming! currently listening to a 96KHz flac stream, result!

Much better connection stability than with mpdroid. Not sure why the patch that lead to this wasn't merged with mpdroid. -1 star for goofy noncompliance with id3 tag standards.
Seems more stable than MPdroid but otherwise very similar.
Very well implemented. Any way of having a sleep timer? Doesn't show the outputs for some reason.
Confusing to navigate
None of the other apps ever really worked well with my Pi Musicbox systems, or wouldn't work with my desktop system. MuPeace just works with all of them without issues.
