The story is great. It's fun to solve the mysteries and play the mini games. However, losing the energy makes the games less fun even though already connect to the Facebook. The price is quite expensive to purchase extra energy, and to get free full energy need to wait almost 24 hours. Perhaps the developer can provide alternative solution to provide free energy in a short time so the players can continue enjoy the games
Technicals such as graphic design and sound effects are very professional and amazing but the story gets boring after first season because the only thing we do is going to the exact same spot or corner in rooms and look for items over and over. Mini games are more interesting but very few times we get to have and solve one. Tasks are not creative and interesting. It's a pity that such a professional technical work has a boring pattern.
Okay, so I played this game and I find the graphics, sounds, and gameplay very interesting. However I find it difficult to proceed with the story/game due to the lack of energy, energy takes a lot of time before being full. I understand that it is a strategy to buy the energy packs, however, perhaps the developer might consider to hasten the time to complete the energy.
The visuals are very nice, that's the main reason why I give it two stars, however, it is too hard to develop the story because the game provides you what they call "energy" to keep playing and exploring, but this one runs out pretty quick. So, for playing 5-10 minutes a day, you have to wait more than 12 hours for the energy to charge. There isn't an ads option to get free energy. It's a shame, because the visuals are beautiful and the story is engaging, but very frustrating to play.
The Game experience is exceptional. I have not seen such beautiful graphics and how it's like a story I am actively participating in. Recently, when I am playing, it doesn't save to the cloud so I have to play a particular scene so many time. I want to move to the next scene. Kindly fix this issue.
Love the game, brilliant story, worst part was energy consumption was high, could only complete one puzzle for 50 energy. Connected with Facebook and everything still not worth it. Finally I'm able to see some light, watch video to gain energy. Brilliant. I can watch some adverts to complete this awesome game, i fine with it. Thanks for introducing this.
Great game. But the energy runs out too quick and 1 energy point every 8 minutes is so long compared to the average 90 mins of similar games. Would rather have a pay option per chapter rather than purchase energy too as there is no way to know how much energy you need to complete a game. I'll most likely delete now as it's too long. When I first downloaded it the adds and energy were there but more reasonable. Just getting worse every new chapter making it no longer enjoyable.
Hello! I'll be honest here. The story is interesting and graphics is beautiful. But the energy consumption is really severe here. I can't even play 5 minutes because I ran out of energy in a flash. And energy refill is even worse, i can't have a full bar even after 8 hours. Maybe it's a bug but I'm telling the fact. For the record, i want to play this game more eagerly but the energy bar stopping me to do this. Hope you read this and come up with a solution. Thank you.
It would have been a great game if not for the ridiculousness of how quickly the energy get used up, and after waiting for a few hours for it to fill up, only to realize that it's not even halfway filled. There's no rewards or login bonus to help fill up the energy level. Couldn't even play for more than 2min before the energy ran out again! Losing my interest to continue playing as a result.
This game has this ridiculous energy bar that drains insanly quick. You need 10 energy just to open a gate , you either have to PAY for more energy or WAIT till it refills, which takes an extremely long amount of time to do. I haven't been able to play for more than 5 minutes a day. Very ANNOYING! considering the fact the game has a interesting story and great graphics.
The only thing you do in the game is find a list of stuff in the scenes. And to do that You've got a bar of energy that empties insanely quick and you've got to watch ads or wait (or pay) to continue. I've never managed to play more than 5mins per day as the energy runs out. It's a ridiculous nightmare. The only good thing in the game is the comic style illustration.
Still in first chapter due to little energy but it's good so far. I like the history, puzzles, graphic and music. It just works. But it would be great if puzzle's wouldn't drain energy so much and there was more of it. Waiting whole day to get it for 10-15 min play isn't worth it. Just double the energy and maybe I'll be able to get to second act this year :)
I love playing. I love looking for clues asks the little puzzle games. The energy refill is terrible. Unless you spend money you can only play once a day. I play other games where I have to wait and where I have spent money, but once a day isn't fun. Would be a 5 if energy refill was faster. I paid once on this game for it and didn't last long at all. Edit Still playing game. Playing scenes over again 1 day at a time. No improvements to energy, but apparently I'm not in a region I can watch ads
A comprehensive experience. Story plot is well thought out, the items are relevant to the chapters. I enjoy how the story really is a focal point. If I were to change anything? I'd make the energy go farther. I found myself frustrated by some of the look and find sections because I wanted to know what would happen next. Overall, 5 stars. Very few complaints. The story is also visually beautiful.
*There has been a tweak so you get a reasonable amount of play per day now. Rating upped to reflect this. Same as everyone else, the game itself is good but such limited game play because of the energy cost, disappears almost instantly and takes days to charge back up it means you can't ever play long enough to get engrossed in it. 5 mins max and your energy has gone, it's just frustrating rather than fun. A tweak to the algorithm and this would be a great game.
If you are looking for an interesting game set in a detective-ish mood, then this is game for you. Many different mini-games, each of which is really well suited to the current situation. The lore also deserves a mention - many chapters with intriguing plot that will make you get more & more into it. Subtracting one star for energy system. Personally, I think 200 is not enough when there are e.g. 2 searches and a mini-game in a row. I know, it attracts to buy energy, which I bought myself;)
The game interaction is so great, even the animation etc. But I rated it only 2 because of the energy problem. The energy lasts hardly about 5 min and takes too long to recharge. It's not worth the wait. And you tell that you have other options for replenishing energy but there aren't and even if there are, they would give hardly 50-60 which wouldn't last 2 min. Really disappointed to see this great game go to waste.
While the artwork and design are good, the game is suffering severely from energy replenishment mechanics. Waiting for one day just to be able to play 5 minutes for free is beyond ridiculous. Also, the game is lacking challenging puzzles, instead it is overload with "break your eye" search tasks that are boring. I would suggest the following. While you progress in the game, the max capacity of the energy and the regeneration rate should improve. Also, watching ads for extra energy.
The game is good and so is the plot but the tasks are so expensive. I don't understand the energy system you have going on. Also there are puzzles in the game, which is fine, but i almost always have to really on the hints. Im contemplating deleting it even though it's so good. I have to wait for an hour to rearrange a torn up photo which requires 30 energy. Come on now. I get the feeling like any thing i touch saps energy and idk how much i have to begin with.
This game could be so great, but as every other review states, the energy regeneration is a huge problem. It takes 24 hours to fill the energy bar, which allows about 15 minutes of gameplay. I've been playing for almost a month and just finally got the achievement for "playing 3 hours total." Spending money might get you another hour of play for $10? I'll pass. I really want to continue the story, but it's impossible to get immersed in 15 minutes per DAY.
Like the game. Graphics, the scenes, the story... Outstanding. The only problem is you have to get energy every time. It would be better if energy drains when you use hints or when you get get something wrong instead of just using up the energy for clicking through scenes and them talking and everything else.
This game is insanely intriguing- I love the artwork/graphics that I'm sure must have taken a long time to perfect ! And the storyline very good as well However, it is so frustrating playing this game considering how fast energy runs out and how slow it reloads. I don't want to pay every other day for energy - I would rather buy the game itself for a fixed amount knowing I have a chance of actually enjoying the game and moving forward with it! I really hope the game developers will fix it!
The graphics, the voice-overs, and what little I've played of the story all seem excellent so far - but the energy mechanic just isn't good enough. I want to keep playing the game - it's clear the developers put time, effort, and love into it - but it feels like they're prioritising selling microtransactions over making a fun, playable game. I'd love to come back to this if they fix it, but energy is used too quickly and generates too slowly for this to be enjoyable. Please fix this!
